Boot in Recovery mode and wipe your battery status.
Also, what were you using and how long until the battery drain out?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I do that, but is always the same, the phone won´t charge the battery even if a put a full charged battery in the phone, so to turn on the phone in normal boot, the phone has to be connected to the usb cable and shutdown when it´s boot.
but when i boot in recovery mode, have to turn on with usb cable, and in boot mode remove the usb cable and battery works for like 20 hours. =/ hope that any can help me. and again sorry for my poor english.

Sound like you have the hardware problem. Is the charger the original charger for the G1?

yes i try and iphone charger and pc usb but always the same.

any one can help me' please.

HELP!!!

Hi everyone! yesterday I flash miui rom, but I forget to do the wipes, and now my cellphone doesnt get up, my milestone show me a battery icon with this sign ? , and dont charge, and freaking out!! please help, please!!
Since I think you already tried to enter Recovery, I think you run out of juice.
If you have a second battery (or someone who can lend it to you) just swap and get Recovery.
Otherwise, you'll need to unbrick it.
I cut a usb cable I didn't need and put the inner cables beetween cellphone and battery. I should find a picture...

thanks bro, I will try with another battery, because i am not good with cables, there is no other way?
Think not...
Our phone needs a small amount of power to boot in charging mode, othewise won't charge and stay bricked :|

It means that the phone cannot recognize the state of the battery. I had a dead battery and I was able to boot by leaving the battery out for 5 minutes. You can also try to boot with no battery, but plugged into the wall and not the PC. The wall charger supplies much more power compared to USB. You might be able to boot that way.

Sounds like you need to recalabrate the battery, so basicly plug it into the wall and leave it over nnight and see what happens

[Q] I'm Stuck! How do I charge my battery back up to flash?

I forgot to charge my charge my phone up before I tried to flash my ROM. Now I'm stck in AP Flashboot mode. It says:
Battery Low
Cannot Program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
What do I need to do? I have tried recharging it but it won't charge back up. A white light comes on the led notification light when I press the power button and it takes it out of AP mode.

1. Find someone with a bionic that will let you charge your battery in their phone.
2. Go to verizon and see if they can charge your phone using one of their Bionics or an external charger.
3. Buy an extra battery (they usually come with enough charge to restore your phone).
4. Buy an external battery charger.
5.Buy a motorola factory flash cable. This type of cable has a different pin out and has the +5v on pin 1 which bypasses the battery and powers the device directly even without a battery inserted at all. here is a link... http://shop.teamblackhat.info/

[Q] Phone Dead...

My battery totally died last night and powered off when it ran out of battery however now I cannot charge the phone at all. It was on charge all night and no charging light comes on. Ive tried with the mains cable, usb cable to pc and in car charger.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get it working again?
Thanks
Did it just randomly die? Is there anything you did beforehand that could influence it, like dropping it (in water)?
I'm not entirely sure what it could be, but if you could provide this info, others mide have an easier time troubleshooting.

HI
greetings,
connect the phone to charger and press and hold the power button for 30 sec and see if the led is flashing
if not then connect to pc and try to boot into bootloader menu and tell what happens. weather it boots, does it just vibrates or does the led flash

[Q] Wont charge if i let the phone completly run out of battery.

If I let my HTC one run completely out of battery so it turns off and plug it back in it will reboot but once it reboots It won't charge and displays 0%. If I remove the charger the phone turns off because the battery is not charging . The way I get round the problem is booting into twrp recovery and letting the phone charge there for a few minutes then rebooting the phone without the the charger connected. Then once the phone turns on I reconnect the charger and the phone charges fine.
I have change from cyanogenmod to viper and calibrated the battery but the problem still occurs. I have also tryed a diffrent charger.

Try the Stock recovery, if it still won't charge it's probably either your cable or the USB port on the phone.
If you found my posts helpful, no need to say thanks. There's a button for that

M7 charges for 20 seconds then stops charging

Dear XDA,
I have a fairly annoying problem. The phone is not charging properly.
When i connect my phone to a charger it charges for roughly 20 seconds. Usually it doesnt show anyting at the start. But after a while it shows the charging icon on the display and the led starts blinking. After 20 seconds it stops doing that and after a while it shows the charging icon + blinking led again. Somehow it's in a charging loop.
I've tried different adapters. Different cables. Let it 'charge' overnight. And hook it on to a computer for a hour or so.
Sometimes i can turn my phone on but then it's on 1% and powers off emediatly. It won't charge when it's turned on.
I'm running MaximusHD 46. I have it for a while now and had no problems whatsoever.
The phone is from the Netherlands but I live now in Zanzibar. They have a different power output and the voltage is not stable. Usually i charge it when there is a stabilizer connected. But hasn't been always the case. Could that be the problem?
Thanks in advanced for your replies,
Lennard

This problem occurs all the time? I mean it's the same in all modes like when booted up and running Android, while powered off and while in recovery.
Or only when the device is powered off?
What recovery are you using ? (name and version) please :good:

I have not been able to get into recovery. Basically it's dead in the water and occasionally i can turn it on.
The recovery i use is TWRP. The version i'm not sure of (since i cannot check) but if I think it's 2.6.3.6.

Sounds like a Hardware problem either with the usb port or the battery itself.
A new usb cable may help if you've already tried that there's not much else you can do.
Some of the newer 2.8.x.x versions of TWRP have issues charging while off. But it doesn't effect charging any other time. Have you tried powering on while it's connected t an AC wall charger?

Lint? What do you mean with that? But yeah, I have cleaned the usb port from dust.
And I managed to get into recovery! I tried finding out where i could reset the battery settings... but I couldn't find it . The phone was getting hot so i think it's sort of charging in recovery mode. So i let it be in recovery mode for the charging. Let's see if that works :]

If you can get a little charge in the battery you can try the USB Host Mode reset. Power off the device and hold Volume up+Volume Down+Power. Hold all three buttons for 2mins plus. The device will appear to bootloop while your holding the buttons. That's normal. When you let go the phone should boot up normally.
Test the charging again :good:

Thanks! That might do it. Anyway i'll try it this afternoon when i'm back home. Should I keep the phone connected to the charger or disconnect?

I suppose it would be best to disconnect during the reset procedure. But I don't no for sure if it will make any difference connected or not.
