I had the same problem, the answer is there. You should ask though in CM's thread.

I experienced this before. I just free up more internal storage space and Market works

I was having the same issue after flashing the CM6.
Installed the new market, v. 3.3.11 and everything is working fine now.
=)

Same problem but I had fix it
First. Setting__Language and change language to English United State. Then Market work good.

Nothing is working for me. I am with no market for 3 weeks...

Wipe cache & Dalvik through OpenRecovery and Flash the latest GoogleApps again. Then change the language to an other than the preset and it should do the trick.

agree, that was my problem too.
you should try this,
and update to the latest market, its alot more stable.

Nope unfortunately this is not working either for me

Has the market been updated?
Have you tried uninstalling the updates and installing another market that you have not tried yet?
Or wipe data and cache and re-install cm6.
I had the same problem, the market updated itself, it didn't even load the images in the market home. Uninstalled the update, and flashed two different gapps, the second worked and now the market updates itself.

Download the Gapps from Kabaldan's thread and wipe caches, flash in OR and reboot.

well..you weren't much help i was asking HOW to flash.
I actualy managed to do it on my own. For those who don't know how to flash gapps with open recovery:
1: You download the gapps you need.
2: You explore the sd card and go to:
sdcard/openrecovery/update and paste the .zip file there.
3: Reboot the device on Recovery mode (press the power button>reboot>recovery)
4: Navigate to the "Apply update" option
5: Select the gapps update
6: Reboot
7: Enjoy!

You were able to flash a ROM, it's the same with gapps Basically anything that people say by "flashing in OR" is like that.

I have had force close issues with Market, Firefox, and various other apps. Some solutions:
1. Open terminal. Type "su" (no quotes), and enter. Grant superuser permissions. Type "fix_permissions" (no quotes, one underscore), enter.
2. Settings, Language & keyboard, select (or RE-select) English (United States).
3. Settings, accounts & sync. Disable auto-sync.
4. Reboot to recovery menu, clear Dalvik cache (under "advanced" menu)
The first (permissions fix) is what worked for me.

Just change the language in language & keyboard setting to english (canada) or united kingdom.

All it took was a little more reading and searching ;D
Forgot to install Gapps.
FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL GAPPS
---------------------
1. Download Gapps zipfrom the forum post you downloaded your rom from.
2. Place it in the ROOT of your SD Card while your phone is in diskmode (changed from the dropdown menu).
3. Go to restore mode on your phone.
4. Choose Install from ZIP
5. ^ Again
6. Find the Gapps zip and choose yes.
7. Wait for install and done! !

cm7 cant flash/find gapps

Just flashed cm7 and gapps. Upon boot everything worked perfect except there was no Google prints like supposed to be. Wasn't any time zone setups or anything just a normal boot.
I setup my Google mail through the stock mail app but that didn't work.
I figured I had a bad flash so I tried it again and tried a third time with a new happened file. Still wont work. Is there a way to manually sync Google?
I keep reading suggestions to flash the gapp zip through rom manager or install it on SD. However I tried to install from rom manager and it keeps wanting to reboot into clockwork and keep flashing from cw. Is it possible to install it from rom manager and avoid clockwork and rebooting?

You have to use clockwork. Are you sure that you are using most current version of clockwork?

Yes it is the most current CW.

ROM Manager is just an automated way to download and flash the apps through CWR. It is the same mechanism as you doing it yourself manually. Both ways are flashing from CWR. What is the date on the gapps you are trying to install? Have you established a wifi connection?
Rom Manager is just a front-end to Clockwork Recovery. I get the best results when I flash files directly from clockwork recovery.
make sure the gapps zip file is in the root (top directory) of the sd card, and then boot into clockwork recovery (you can use the shortcut of running rom manager, and then selecting the second option - "reboot into Recovery").
Once in clockwork recovery, use the volume keys to go up/down, and the N key to select the option that is highlighted (the power button takes you back one level in the menu tree).
You want to "install zip from SD card" and then browse the sd card until you find the gapps zip file and select the N button. It will ask you to verify - you need to arrow to the YES and select N again.
then use the power button to get back to the top of the menu tree and select Reboot System ...
you should now have gapps in your cm7 - when you run the market it should take you through the install / setting up an account, and then give you the shortcut to download gmail, facebook, youtube etc (this automates the download of several commonly used apps).
Agreed. Manually flashing from recovery is my preferred method. You can still download the most recent gapps with Rom Manager and then select them in recovery from the clockwork/downloads/goo-insideme folder. They do not need to be on the root. Reminds me of the old SPRecovery days on my droid

[Q] Insufficient space on device. Can't install any app

Hi fellow blackers,
My optimus black was on Nova Rom 2.2 v8:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161015
And I flashed it to v20n:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441901
I followed the instructions specifically these two before proceeding with the zip install.
1. Wipe Data/Cache (if not wiped, might cause problem)
2. Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache (same as data/cache, might cause problem)
After flashing, I can't seem to install any app from Market. It says that I have insufficient space on device.
So did some searching (google and here on XDA):
Here are their suggestions:
1. Install Marketfix - unfortunately, I can't install this because it is already saying I have insufficient space.
2. Clear market cache - after clearing (cache and data), I still says insufficient space
3. Uninstall market update - Going to settings - Application - manage application then selecting Market, I don't see any uninstall button. Just Force close, cancel and clear cache, clear data..
4. Finally I saw knzo's supposedly fix for this: Something to do with file system (nova is on EXT4 while stock is on EXT3)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1212370&highlight=insufficient
I wasn't able to try option 1 because the file was removed on all file sharing sites.
Options 2 and 3 - restore factory settings isn't working. The phone is not doing anything after I click Erase everything. It just hangs
Any other suggestions?
Try reflash ROM with wipe all data and cache in CWM including dalvik cash and formating partitions in "mounts&storage".
Or this!
Try wipe cache and dalvik cache...worked for me
hmm pardon me, but how do I boot into recovery? I tried powering the device on while holding volume down (also tried up and G button) but it didnt reboot into recovery.

Since I can;t install anything (rom manager etc.), I think I needed to do what you advised.
I was able to flash the stock then started up from there

Can`t install any ICS ROM

I tried to install several ICS ROMs on my Galaxy s, but none of them worked. I did all wipes like 3 times before any rom install... I only managed to boot up SGS2 ICS rom, wich was extremely laggy and etc:L Any advices of what i can do?
Flash back to gb with this kit (unzip, read .txt first)
http://db.tt/MOGZx01S
Then go to slim website and read the installation instructions(use a nightly, not a kernel where you see the choice)
Re read, make sure you are clear what to do, make sure you have all that you need on your internal sd (nightly/i9000 file/ common file/ modem from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158783
[CM7/MIUI/ICS/CM9][06.01.12] Modems + Bootloaders(MD5)
Proceed, take your time, be near a computer, breath deeply, don't panic of things go wrong, post on thread of they do.
Try this.
Download the latest CM9 nightly (you will find it if you Google it)
Go to recovery
Wipe
Format system (mount and storage)
Flash in this order
CM9
Reboot recovery
Modelxxx.xxx
Slim common
Reboot.
Then enjoy

Unless the ROM you are installing is specifically telling you to "mount everything", do not do it. Try it again, but this time do not mount anything manually, installing from Zip should do it automatically. If it still doesn't work, make sure the ROM you are trying to install is supposed to be installed from Recovery, some do also provide files for flashing through Odin/Heimdall
EDIT: I do recommend flashing CM9 first, get the newest nightly from here: http://get.cm/?device=galaxysmtd and google apps (if you want them) from here: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip which is the recommended one for usage with CM9 ICS.

the same with superuser
You have to scroll it down. there is one option YES, but it's "below" screen..
If you are seeing clock work mod screen and a Number of no one upon other in many lines then swipe up your finger on screen because it's a touch recovery mod then you will are the yes option.
But after flashing with smart flash tool you have to just reboot.
You can flash a rom with already
Included Super user just google or search xda .
Also snegovik which you have tried has described a best tutorial with pic and it's a very good tutorial
A child can also do this I request you to read and retry please.
Also describe your problem clear
I have made a meaning of your question my way and replied.

Ok and now what should i do to install zeus, can i do that?
You can always install whichever rom you want. Just don't forget about wipes in CWM.
In Zeus thread, there are instructions in first post... It's easy. Zeus rom & updates are always as cwm zip, so you already know how to do this.

Download Zeus read Zeus Tom pages by huexx
You will need 6.3 zip and latest 6.36 zip
You can choose version based on v20n or v20o
All instructions are given in his thread
Copy 6.3 zip and 6.36 zip to root of your SD card as you can not browse folders in depth in clock work mod recovery
If you don't know what is copying in root of SD card Google it its simple
now reboot your phone in ce recovery mod
Choose wipe data factory reset
Then chhose wipe catch
Then wipe dalvik catch by going in advance mod
Then return by go back button
Choose install zip from SD card
Choose 6.3
Flash by touching selecting yes
Then after finish of flashing reboot
Wait for some time after complete boot to stable the system
The same way flash I mean install 6.36 update
That's all
Pl ask if any difficulty
