I don't think you can OverClock with stock roms...
I think what you are searching is Emanom rom, its the same Gingerbread with OC and few other apps and features added!! You can sure give it a try
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927
Or, may be you can try Andro-id. Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107331

Thank u Yagya for responding..I have seen that thread..but I noticed that Emanon Rom has wifi and B/T problems..is there any way to solve that problem..
I do have another question ..my phone is stable at 748 MHz. in CM 7 rom..will it be the same with Emanon rom or can I increase the processor speed

EmaNon has better performance, A2SD, Terminal Emulator, many tweaks to increase phone and internet speed, but EmaNon has bugs like Wi-Fi bug. But Wi-Fi doesn't work only for someone. But it doesn't work for me. So just try it.

Emanon is not much diffrent from stock rom.... It's just some extra features added to stock rom..
Here is what you get more with Emanon:
It is pre-rooted. No need to root again.
It can be overclocked to increase or decrease CPU speed as your need.
It has some added applications.
It has some performance boost and etc.
You can use Darktremor A2SD or any other a2sd with Emanon.
You can view more features at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927

Thanks everyone for responding..I have made up my mind ..I m waiting for Flatzki's MIUI rom or else I will go for Emanon rom by Parasmi..Thank u once again..

Fastest ROM with TouchWiz?

Hey
Im looking for a "speed upgraded" ROM but still with TouchWiz.
Anything of that sort?
Thanks
I don't know about fastest rom, but if you want to try a rom with touchwiz and overclocking feature, you might want to try emanon rom. The thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176927 .
try emanon v4 rom
it has all the features that u want
Emanon sounds pretty popular
i would suggest u to give it a try as i'm also currently using this rom
its great
EmanoNv4 should be your first try

[Q] best custom rom for SGM?

Title says it all. What is the best rom for our device?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
it depends how you use you phone..
if performance and battery long life the best is the cm7 from mebitek
if tweaks and customization the cm7 from squadzone is for you
if you want smoothness use the emanon rom
sorry for my bad english
come one. there's so much question about this.
There's no 'the best one' I suppose.
Every custom ROM have its own advantages.
Even Stock ROM may be the best for several users...

I agree with you
just try everything, understand everything, then you will find what works best for you.
i prefer to use chocobread for my SGM
I have no problem using it
sorry my english is bad
It's all you no point of creating threads like this. Thanks to developers for creating such roms we must no do a poll or anything it may disturb them

Sorry about that. Right now im using squads and i downloaded all the roms. Im gonna try a rom each day and see what rom suites me.

emanon + squadzone cm7.2
First custom rom i had was emanon v4 then v5 those roms i thought look so cool. Ive been using squadzones cyanogen mod for 2 months and it has so many features its awesome! S2e if u know what that is works flawlessly on cm7 but not so for emanon. Andro-id i hear is another good 1 by tj styles i believe let us know what u think if u try andro-id as i havent googled ant screenshots or anything for it
Now I'm using CM7 from squadzone, but it doesn't mean that it is the best for me.
I agree that every ROM has their own benefit. Just make sure you know what you want to do with ur SGM, and understand what ROM fit with your needs.
Sent from my GT-S5570 using XDA
But if we think of performance and tweaks cm 7.2 by squadzone is better
Sent from my GT-S5570 using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
I recommand the official CM 7.2 RC1 its whit fewer tweaks but stabil, but 7.2 by squadzone is ok to
I tried mebitek but my mobile network won't work. Helpp.

Give Official Cyanogenmod7.2 a try, I'm a personal fan of it, runs like a charm when stock. But if you overclock your CPU and slam V6 SuperCharger script by zeppelinrox on it, it will fly .
Thanks!

Sorry sorry no offence here but that adreline rom, (hint).go through comments first.
I tried emonon 6,cyanmobile, cyanexp., now on miui rc2 speed of surfing is great. Frankly speaking every rom has it's own speciality in terms of speedy animation, surfing, decoding libs. Sporty but u r the best judge for your own device! !!Ā”!

Try Cyanmobile eXperience released 2012/07/21 here
the best CM7 rom, i think.

Optimised battery i would think is a combination of both Kernel & Rom Apps, the stock kernel runs close to the 832 MHz frequency at most times even when the phone is idle. I always found my battery went fast when on stock firmware. RB's Kernel supports different frequencies and thus depending on the load on the CPU this can help save battery consumption. A bareboned ROM will also help keep power consumption low but the trade off is less app functionality on your phone.
See retribution gave me a very poor battery back up with 3G and wifi. But its quite fast. Right nw i am on stock deodexed XXLH3...with domscript and rafaels kernel. It gives me a 3/4th of a days use....with 3g and wifi.
Battery back up with simplicity V2 was quite good. But it has some app issues. (extreme bareboned). Kies doesnt recognise my fone. So had to restore my XXLH3 back up.

Go with stock....simplicity V3 would be released.....wait for that...V2 has some bugs.....but a good Rom...... Its based on XXLI1. So try using the stock deodexed version of that. Maybe that stock version has good battery life ( report back and let me know abt the battery drain, If you are going to use that )...
Otherwise XXLH3 is a good option.

Are you running WIFI and 3g permanetly all day? If so this will drain your battery pretty fast regardless of what ROM your using i would assume. The Simplicity ROM's are fast and smooth, but at the moment i would wait for its v3 release, im currently using Jillie Bean Beta2 which works for me. You need to be realistic about how much battery use you will get out of your phone, if its being left idle power off functions you dont need.

I agree with you. I do that with every rom i use. And till now simplicity was best at that. XXLA2 Roms didnt last long than these newer versions. Maybe there wud be some stock battery management tweaks. As of now...the battery has been getting better for me with every new updated stock version. I dont know about other users. I just check and try to bring out the best battery back up possible. And yes...thats what i told him above to wait for V3 simplicity.

Hey I'm about to maybe falsh to newest Simplicity V3.5 version.
But I have a question about this rom.
In the description it is said that it is based on "xxli1", right now I'm running a German Ace i with "XXLD2"
Can some one tell me if "XXLI1" will also support German language.
It is possible to import the language afterwards?
