I wipe will be needed ever if you are coming from Liberty 1.0 to fix the hotspot issue
If you are on 1.1 you can simply install the patch to get to 1.2, no need to re-download the whole thing

Sweet looking ROM. Have any more screenshots? I just wish we had an official SBF to flash back to in case something blows up...

I'm going to try anyway but can we install without wiping if we are on the rc1 version
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App

This is not for the XT860 right??

Great Rom! Love it! I'm still getting an unresponsive right-side screen when viewing the app drawer and trying to launch apps. I was using RC1 and it was pretty bad, but this version seems to have helped, but not completely. Also my Build Number reads 5.5.1_84_D3G-55
is this correct? I've noticed on that my build number doesn't change no matter what rom is installed.
Thanks for the hard work!

No dude, I said I wish we had an SBF.
Thanks for the screenshots, kejar31!

You can unbrick a D3 using RSD and the 5.6.890 system file.

Wish i could try, but I gotta have mobile hotspot! Wish I woulda known how to flash when I had my dx, I was a noob back then.
It just looks so good...

We have the fxz stock files. It is the replacement file form instead of sbf. It uses rsdlite just like the sbf files. easy.
Seriously it is a sticky thread at the top of the development forum.

I'm getting a lot of "application not supported" errors in the market. Including google voice. Anyone else?

okay so is this for the droid 3 or another phone?
because droid 3 dont have 4g on it so i dont know what the heck is going on,

It's for droid 3. I've been running the rc1 version and flashed this earlier. So far so good, I'm still using go launcher and I'm not desperate for my hotspot. Well done Liberty.

How is the GSM/WCDMA Radio reception in this ROM? as good as XT883? or same as XT862?
Thanks.

Does Liberty have a built in overclock or does that need to be added manually?
Does this ROM have the same problems that GummyJar 2.5 has, or are those corrected in this ROM?
My battery died, but I finished downloading the rom - now I have to wait to get out of this class @[email protected]

how is the battery on this rom ?
Wow! I had no idea that this would make it onto xda. I am glad to see it. Thanks a ton to the Liberty team. I have been using rc1 from rootzwiki for a while now and LOVE IT. I also used you guys on my d2.
Anyway glad to see the fantastic work. This rom so far has not presented me with any real bugs or glitches. I love it more than r3blurr3d or d3blurr3d even, and those were great too.

I'm trying to understand if this is really .889 built. I spent a large amount of time getting. 889 installed blur3d 2.0 (only rom running under. 889) I wipe data, cache, davik, and format system installed this rom and I am now back to. 886.
What did I do wrong?
I loved the rc1 I wanted to try. 889 and when I read v1 was released with. 889 I had to make the change but I need advice.
Thank you

Anyway to get the stock blur keyboard.back? Awesome rom!
Awesome ROM! The blur launcher is the smoothest I have seen period. Smooth speeds, everything about this rom screams speed. I bought the pro version of the rom toolbox! Thanks!
Just flashed this rom after being on theory for a while. So far everything seems to be very nice. Like the liberty customization options. Cant stand the aosp gallery so the option to change is fantastic. Also really like that screen shot is built into the rom and I don't have to download anything extra.

I came from Purity 2.4 and liberty 2.0 is running flawlessly for me!
I tried this out yesterday coming from the upgrade v2.0.. Did data wipe, and wanted to see if there was any difference from v2.0 gold to the upgrade v2.0.. Didn't see no difference but for some odd reason I ran into a ton of trouble. Was running very jumpy, locked up on me, and did a few reboots on its own. I decided to restore back to my v2.0 upgrade and installed the themes and I'm loving the liberty. Probable was just a bad download or I had a glitch during install. Great work Team Liberty!!!!

- Reboot options (Reboot,Recovery and Screenshot)
- DSPManager included
- Custom Launcher2 with extra hotseats and speed tweaks (lightest fastest launcher you will ever use)
- Liberty Customizer (choose to add back blur apps)
- Start-up Tweaks (tool to allow you to manager your start-up tweaks)
- Root Browser (full edtion that normally comes with the pro version of the ROM toolbox - no need for Root explorer any-longer)
- Root Toolbox
- 8 Lockscreens (Moto, Rotary, AOSP, 4Tab, Honeycomb, Rotary Revamp, Lense and Rings) with widgets
- Statusbar Tweaks
- Updated gtalk (should fix the 3g/4g issue)
- Updated Camera - credit DroidTho3ry
- Scrolling powerwidgets - credit DroidJunk

- Minor theme fixes
- Liberty Settings updated
- Updated Rom Toolbox and Root Browser

- Theme Manager added (for donate users, more info on second post)
Liberty Parts
All of these will be found within Liberty Settings > Customization
Lockscreen Settings will give you the option to change your lockscreen within the style menu, and widgets within the widgets menu.
Status Bar will give you control over status bar tweaks.
The battery icon does disappear it just takes time, you can cycle the signal tweaks to get it to go faster.
Battery text will turn green while charging and red when you are at 20% or below.
Hide Alarm goes into effect if the alarm is already set, or will require a reboot..

Where can Hash's patch be found? Is it the one listed here at the bottom of the CM7 builds?

Can't use safestrap? (Not a problem, just asking)

I'd also like to know if this is Safestrap compatible. Also, does this update include any fixes to the "Cell Idle" and "Cell Standby" issues? They were drastically high in comparison to Stock 5.6.890 Blur. I loved the 1.0 version, but I had to stop using because of the battery drain issues.
Thank you so much for the work you put into the D3.
I just did the install via SafeStrap with no issues outside of the fact I cannot locate the lock screen options. Safestrap is still working fine so rollback is possible.
On that note: I cannot locate the lock screen options and every time I try to access the status bar options the process crashes.

You'll have to wipe data in order to see the new options.
Well that stinks. Is there anyway around that? Really not wanting to do a datawipe again just for the lock screen.

Just fixed by deleting the empty liberty themes folder on the internal SD card. It then downloaded the themes when I went back into the customizer.

FYI To the Devs... Flashing the Blur Email/Calendar seems to be what puts the "Hack" in the settings menu.
Is there any reason I can't select any ringtones for ANYTHING in this ROM? I had the same problem with the previous version.
I have even went so far as to install some custom ringtones on to interal sd, sd-ext, and in /system/media/audio but yet when I go in to the settings to select either a ringtone, or a notification sound the popup is blank.
I did wipe and clear cache before installing the newest 2.0, but as I mentioned earlier I had this same problem in the last version.
**EDIT**
Also the Blur Calendar widget is still force closing upon trying to add it to the desktop.
Just flashed and I'm liking it so far but I noticed the touch screen doesn't work that well with the app drawer open

Its an issue with the launcher that comes with the rom. Use a different launcher
I have had the donate version since my old droid x so I uninstall the one that comes with the rom but it always reinstalls itself. Anyway around this?
Installed -
Launcher needs some work. Going to install Launcher Pro for now.
Everything else is working fast so far - !

They really do produce a nice rom that is allways supported and upgraded...team mav rocks lol..
Has anyone flashed this over the .906 OTA leaked update? If so, how well is it running? I'm in limbo whether I should take the plunge or not. The only reason I haven't updated to the official .906 is there aren't really any custom roms that run the .906 system base, but now that mavrom is up and running this system, I will probably take the plunge because mavrom is by far the best rom out there so far in my opinion.

I am running .894 and all is sweet!
I can see your concern for flashing over .906 which is why I still have not taken the plunge
But it should run great over it as 4.0 is based off that ota and has the system files
I have tested 890, 905 and 906. No issues to report. I will be heavily testing the gps on Tuesday.
Thanks for update!

According to build.prop the phone is
Code:
ro.product.model=DROID3
ro.product.brand=verizon
ro.product.name=solana_vzw

You would need a banner editor and team mav hasn't added that..so you only have 2 choices that I'm aware of...maverick or verizon wireless...and you change them from within the toolbox when you change themes
Ok, thanks. Reinstalled all apps - it's faster

Is there an easy patch for that? I remember running into this when I worked on getting 2.3.6 on the XT862.
If there isn't one, you need the files from /system/usr/keychars or /system/usr/keylayout.
