Nexus One and Extended batteries

Does anyone know if an extended battery's true capacity would be reflected by the battery meter on the status bar? I came from a Motorola milestone, one it had trouble displaying the extended battery capacity and was wondering if there was anything i should know before picking one up.

Slim Extended Batteries for the HD2/Desire HD?

Looks like the HD2 and Desire HD share the same battery size and type and I was wondering whether Seidio and other manufacturers will focus on getting a new battery which is a slim extended version?
Hi.
Ask them, tell us !
I bought a 1600mah battery off ebay for my hd2 and it is working much better than my old battery. I'm running the clarity rom and froyo.

[Q] Seidio Epic 4g slim extended battery

Hi all,
Has anyone tried the Epic 4g battery in a Captivate? I think they are the same battery shape/size etc. Any reason I shouldn't buy one?
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi16ssgs.htm
50 dollars for a 1600mah battery that probably isnt even 1600mah...you're better off just getting the 1500mah samsung battery from at&t for $30
Price isn't really an issue, I was more interested if anyone has used the 1600mAh in their Captivate. Seidio uses excellent quality batteries, I've purchased their extended batteries for most of my phones. If you're really worried about price, you can also order from Mugen (who also has excellent quality batteries) for roughly $40.
check out batteryboss dot org
they tested the seidio 1600mah battery for the N1 and it has an actual capacity of 1305mah. Mugen 1800mah batteries are really 1404mah.
check out the oems on that page...
here's some testing from another xda member http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=906611
you can get some 5 dollar batteries from ebay that preforms just as good as those seidios and mugens but to answer your question yes an epic battery will work for the captivate
Lots of good info thanks man

[Q] Extended Battery

Hey, I was wondering if any of you have experience with some of the extended batteries available for the incredible 2/s. I know htc makes a official 2150mah one for the incredible 2 that would work but i was also considering the seidio innocell 3500mah one. Any thoughts?
I use a Mugen Power 1800mAh extended battery and I'll be honest, I'm not sure of I've seen that much of an improvement. Maybe an extra couple of hours? Up to you if you think it's worth the cost of buying one I guess.

i bought a 3500mah batt off ebay (not any major battery brand) for like 11USD $. It works great get around 5 days of life with it with wifi/mobile network on, except the signal strength dropped around 1-2bars, because the connectors arent the proper ones htc and other phones give you.
I bought the official htc oem 2150mah battery for the incredible 2 off of amazon and its been great! cost me 25 dollars and fits perfectly! Doesnt make the phone too big and almost doubled my battery life

Going to pick one up. Anyone have any insight?

Would love to see results. I've got a 1600 maH coming in in the next few days from Anker actually. Mine was about 12 bucks. I don't know how much of a difference 100 maH would make though to be honest.

Will post battery stats, but will need someone else's stock stats to do a comparison. Our stock battery barely keeps a few hours of charge.

It should either be here today or Monday. Haven't checked the mail. Give me a week to judge though and I'll report back. Would love to also see OP's usage chart as well for comparison sake.
