Anyone still buying std Inc batteries? - Droid Incredible Accessories

I've got two D-INC std 1500 batteries that are used( 6mo, 2mo) and a back cover for one too. I was just wondering if people are still willing to buy the original batteries rather than going for the higher end ones that are out now? I just have no use for them myself as i've upgraded to a D-INC II and no longer have the D-INC handset it self due to it being sent back to big V for repair/trade for the II.

selling price within the US?

If your battery has an STD, you might take it to the clinic. I'm pretty sure they can clear that up.

Hate to revive but what did you mean by clinic? And really I'd be selling both for like 20ish, back cover possibly included if you need/want it.

He was making a funny. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=std&l=1

Yea, I ignored that and took the more serious matter of it as something I could do with them.

fyi, stock batteries are 1300 mah... and $20 is ripping us off cause i got a 1500 for ~$5 last year when i got my phone, and just bought a seidio extended batt and cover for $12.
If you wanna help someone out, you could offer it to a friend who has a Dinc or an EVO 4g(works on this too).

Oh see I had no ideas what prices where otherwise I would have said different.

htc 2150 battery on amazon

this should be legit right? with all the fake battery threads and everything lately, i want to be very careful where i buy my battery from unless its from the verizon store. i think this is legit though, and a decent price cheaper than buying from verizon.
http://www.amazon.com/HTC-Verizon-I...dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
Yup, looks like the OEM one that I have. The fact that it comes with the back which says HTC is a pretty good indicator too

nice
im gonna order it, no verizon within 500 miles of me has them in stock lol. kinda wanted it today, i hate waiting for shipping!
just ordered it for 42 shipped, cant wait for it to get here!
Htcexpress . Com has 1800mah for $20 and it fits in stock case. Have no problem getting through an entire day with pretty good use and keep slim and sleek

i saw those, i dont think those are legit OEM HTC batteries....
I've had mine for awhile and easily get through a day with a single charge. So legit or not they work. Stock battery I'd be lucky to make past lunch some days
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I ordered it, 100% legit. It's a great upgrade for the phone. While it does look thicker, it's feel is actually better. You can easily get a full day out of this battery with heavy use. I purchased it as a 'when I need my phone all day' kinda battery. No worries.
Only thing is the back bezel doesn't come with the metal around the headphone jack. But the case is OEM.
Ultimately do what makes you comfortable. Just thought I'd share my experience. Everyone on these forums have been so helpful to me thought I'd put my 2 cts in. I was a little skeptical too. Battery is red and says HTC (easy enough to do) but received in 2 days and couldn't be happier. 2 best things about are not having to have an ugly hump and no longer having to hear my brother (ex iPhone user) ***** about the terrible battery life. So in short 2 people very happy with these.
Good luck with whatever you choose

I actually should have went with it to try it out, but i had already ordered the 2150. i actually like thicker phones, i cant stand thin phones, on my old g1 i used to have one of those like 3500 batteries and it was huge lol.
my friend has an inc and i know he wont want to get a thicker battery, so ill have him order the one you got. thanks for the review on it btw.
This battery is so worth the money. Got it last night, charged it (bump charged it) and been unplugged since 830am, and 7hrs later and I'm at 63%. Id be dead already on the stock battery.

anyone have experience with these
http://www.amazon.com/Laza-Battery-Charger-Verizon-Incredible/dp/B0043H0BY6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
they look like a hell of a deal if its legit, and by the reviews, it seems to be. FEEDBACK anyone?
mods, please edit to have title. sorry. and thanks!
Seems like they might be taking the stock 1500 mAh batteries and rebranding... not sure though. Even so, would you rather swap batteries when its dead, or have one that lasts longer between uses? Both would have their own benefits... and if they are actually 1500 then they'd be slightly better than our stock, regardless. I might do some research into these guys, thanks!
Tapatalk Pro Sig. Yep, boring.
Let me know if you get them. Im really curious, but my laptop just took a crap. Thats gonna be a bill dont wanna see
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Seriously doubt they're OEM quality, but I'm just curious if they're beyond the stock 1300mah units that came stock in our dINCs. I have some Amazon credit I need to use soon and have been eying these for some time now. May take the plunge and see the outcome, will certainly post a update if I do.
Anyone ever get these?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Not I. Some not so positive reviews eventually came up on Amazon which was enough for me to steer clear of these knowing they weren't OEM or made by a reputable third-party.

It's the law of supply and demand. You are asking to buy it, so natually the price going to be higher than usual. These guys/gals probably won't release their G1, not unless it's worth their wild.
Your best bet is to check craiglist or amazon to see if any one want to sell their G1. You'll get a better deal than here.

why do people want to buy zero lemon battery?

I can understand that if you work in a cave for 4 days straight, you want might want to the zero lemon battery, but for a average office worker with a 9 to 5 job in a city, where plugs is available at work, why would you want to buy the zerom lemon battery. It's seems to me there is no real benefit and the added weight and thickness makes the phone less portable.
When people want to use a real portable device, they want to stay away from the outlet for as long as possible until they're about to go to sleep.
Because we can...

if your jogging consists of walking 15-20 miles while simultaneously using a gps running app and watching hours of movies...then yeah...maybeeee a bigger battery would be necessary =P

Some people travel and do not always have access to an outlet for extended periods of time. Use a power bank? Not very convenient to have the cable attached to your phone while using it. Infact, it can double as a power bank- over at the zero lemon thread there is a guy charging other people's phones. It could not only charge phones, but other devices too such as a digital camera battery if need be. Why do people have the 6200 mah extended batteries? For most of the reasons listed here. Also, the zero lemon appears to add very little bulk while adding 3100 mah in a very unique design.

Per your opening post question, maybe there isn't an average office worker who wants this battery. More than likely people with different circumstances own these. People who assume everyone else must have the same needs as them are pretty closed minded.
I don't own one but my guess is that those who do are in situations frequently where they don't have easy access to electrical outlets or simply are annoyed more by frequent recharging than by size.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda premium
Not gonna lie, I wish they could implement a battery the same size as the 3100mah, but higher mah's. I just got a 6200 Hyperion battery/case and can definitely feel the extra weight for sure.
I got a bigger battery as I get tired of having to plug in mid way to my work shift. Kinda defeats the purpose of being a mobile phone. Most days I would get through a work shift, but there were those down days at work and be half way, plugging in....
Honestly not sure if this Hyperion battery is any better. Seems to be going the same rate my 3100 mah Samsung was going.....
Worse case, send this back and pick up Some 3100 Anker batteries to swap out.
Choices is always good. At least we have this option still, lol!
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
As a matter if fact, it's pretty funny that someone who owns such a huge phone would ask this question since people with "normal" sized screen phones from 3.5 to 5 inches probably think the same about your phone choice. "Why would anyone need such a huge screen when the average person would be able to get by just fine with the ALREADY huge screens of something like a GS3!" If I had a nickel for every time someone asks me that when they see my note 2.........sheesh!

If I was closed minded, I would not have asked for reasons, right? The fact that I want to know why, shows I am willing to understand the motive behind it.
I really hope that we can have a meaning and mature discussion without resort to name calling or labelling.

it must be a long horse ride?
Another reason which could have been missed, the company itself is named ZeroLemon for a purpose they stand behind their product and it's quality, and it's true 9300 mAh capacity. There are only a handful of brand names I trust which have consistently delivered per their label, aside from their price difference. Plus a commitment to post pone a release of production-ready battery because tpu case (which is not even part of the battery functionality) wasn't fitting right - speaks highly of them. Of course, I have never tested their products and don't know about the quality until I have it in my hands. But based on all the preliminary reading and a few email exchanges, I will give them a benefit of a doubt!

I've been using the same case as you since December, and have indeed dropped the phone quite a few times. Fortunately, my screen survived. You got really unlucky there.

LCD cracking is pure luck. It all depends on which part took the impact. Your phone will most likely survive if it falls flat on a flat surface. If the corner hits, it'll most likely break.
I have seen phones survive 6ft drop and also seen broken phones from a 1ft drop.

But yeah, even if it works you still have cracked screen so you will still have to fix it anytime soon.

Those plastic slim cases will not protect your phone, at all. At most, they provide a grip to your phone and prevent scratches from everyday usage.
I would advise on getting a TPU case in the future.

I broke mine like that, sent it to LG repair shop in Texas (have to contact them and get a return code first) and they ended up just giving me a replacement unit. Was nice cuz I ended up with a more solid phone, has the little nubs and all (it's a rev 10 though). Pretty much like getting a brand new phone and I was only charged like $160. Just make sure to back up your pics and stuff to your PC prior to sending it in, in case you get a new phone. I was quite happy.
