work's perfectly!

i'd like an option for on-screen steering but the textures and everything lays out nicely on the 10.1" screen. Android has stepped their gaming game up lately.

does it work better than asphalt?? or worst

...only has tilt steering on this game, but it's pretty decent I'd say. I'd put it on par with Asphalt 6.

Its turning right on mine on ics

Yes I have this problem too...

Market says it can't be installed in my country.
At least I have it in my Galaxy S2 (free, thanks to Samsung!)
I hope EA will make Dead Space available for Xoom... it's one of the best mobile games I ever played (free, thanks to Samsung again), and it has an amazing graphics and atmosphere... terrifying!

Bumpity bump.
v1.0.61 has steering issue on ICS. Anyone know of a solution?

have the same problem as above

Seems fixed with 1.0.54 ..

Market link doesn't work if you are outside USA...
Should I bother use the apk? Will get as soon as I hit home.
Btw, you can queue up for an invite on the website using a webproxy like hidemyass.com (not trying to make any advertisement, just giving an exmaple )
Thanks for the notification man! It's an awesome news
for anyone who lives outside usa, use market enabler and you can find google music on android market. it works for me
Thanks for the APK links! Worked great on Nexus S on Wind Mobile in Canada.
apk installed fine. Used a proxy to get an invite anyway in hopes I'll be able to use the cloud based service, although being in Canada I'm not sure if it'll end up working out in the end.
I did notice it said the beta was being offered free for a limited time. Sounds to me like they plan on charging for the service. Makes sense, since bandwidth isn't free, but nonetheless.
Yeah sucks that it wont be free after a while.

school project- controlling robot with android

Hello! We're about to start our school projects and my idea was to create an app and a simple robot and be able to control it through the phone via bluetooth or something like that. How difficult do you guys think this would be? have only basic programming knowledge atm but have a year to finish it. Any tips or ideas are more then welcome
well they do it with the iphone to control a a remote controlled helicopter, so its possible. but how hard this is gonna be s another question

If you've got a year to do it and you're willing to get your head down and learn then you can easily do it.
okay, cool
I was thinking i could do one with only going forward, backwards and turning buttons. But if not too difficult it would be nice if i could draw up a predestined route on the phone which the robot could then follow. Does this sound like a good idea? And how do you think i should get started on everything?
This should definitely point you in the right direction...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1456275
If you're going to do something that allows you to go forwards, backwards and turn, it's only a matter of enhancing the software so you can program routes. Not really much more to do for that.
these are very easy to work with. http://mindstorms.lego.com/en-us/Default.aspx
Even the android robot that solves rubics cubes is made of them.

This isn't the one I was talking about, but this was on the front page of lego's site.
The one I was talkinig about uses an android phone for processing power

Blue Dot on Camera

So I just opened and used my unlocked htc one today, was working fine, but at the end of the day I noticed a blue dot appearing on the rear camera only, I've read that it is a hot pixel. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to solve it?
got screenshot?
---------- Post added at 01:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 PM ----------
just prove that you're not a samsung troll, we dont mind if u take a picture of your blue dot with a toaster or a potato. as long as it can be seen
Wow I just tried it and I do as well. Only appears when I use camera though. Been looking since April 19th for a dead or stuck pixel and thought mine may just be perfect. Under every condition I've seen not one but now in camera I do. Ahhh well. No big deal. If that's the only time I can see it then I don't care. Even if I Google a 100% black image on Google and look at the same spot on max brightness I don't see it. Very odd.
Did sone more testing and I could see the stuck pixel in more places than one. Was just insanely difficult. After staring at the black image on Google I could make it out. The light from the browser bar was bleeding over the stuck pixel so I couldn't see it as well. Now I can't stop looking at it. :x I tend to lose its positioning though and can't find it afterwards unless I use the camera app to locate it and then stare at the area. Ahhh well. Just 1 pixel and it's insanely hard to see. Not worth taking back as some people mention they have clusters of pixels stuck or dead not just 1.

Modern Combat 5 on GT-P31XX

CM 10.2.1- 3113
PA ROM- 3110
build.prop edit to get MC5 to be visible in Play. And it plays well. I was asked on Gamelofts forums to help someone and figured I'd share it here also, these are details from a Note 8.
Here's the stuff I changed on my 3113, highlighted in the image below.
Edit- there have been reports of it crashing, the fix seems to be returning to STOCK SETTINGS AFTER INSTALLED. You will probably have to repeat these steps aswell to get updates through Play.
ALSO MC5 REQUIRES A WIFI CONNECTION TO RUN, MOBILE DATA IS NOT SUFFICIENT.

When I run game in tab2 p3100 it starts loading but after sometime it says no internet connection plz check. But I am already connected with net

This game requires WiFi connection mobile data isn't enough. Let me know if that isn't the issue.
With MC4 on mt4g I had the same issue and simply turning on WiFi WITHOUT connecting allowed it to proceed. I'm not sure if this will work on 5.
Which of the lines in the build.prop do I need to edit? (Screenshot's not loading)

I edited the ro.product.model to GT-5100 and rebooted, but the Google Play still says not available.

After downloading some have had to restore the build.prop to stock to keep from crashing. All the left was the GT-N5100. I myself already owned the game so I just restored with titanium and didn't experiance these problems first hand.
Thanks, I was finally able to buy and install it. Changed my build.prop back to defaults including the model name. Will play for a few minutes and see if there would be anymore issues. By the way, I'm using PA rom.

It says its not compatable
Play mc5 with sixaxis
For those who doesn't know, you can play mc5 with sixaxis controller as a native controller, just select app profile (with sixaxis controller app obviously) and enable native gamepad on settings, just the sensibility its a little hard to aim, hope you enjoy :d
nice

Turn off screen - App

Could anybody recommend me an application which is able to lock screen/turn off screen immediately e.g. from notification panel. Of course Play store has a lot of these apps but I need Android 10 compatible tiny size app with a least memory load.
Trial and error?
