Adw themes

I have recently downloaded ADW launcher and it's great. One problem though is no matter which theme I install, the phone and camera icons do not change. Is this a problem with the Captivate, and does anyone have a workaround?

When you create an ADW theme, you have to name the icons included in it a specific way. Galaxy S phones require a specific name for each stock app that is different from say HTC Sense phones. The problem is, a lot of themes haven't updated to support those Galaxy S files. I have three in the Market right now.

Tomorrow I'm going to update all of them to support Galaxy S phones completely, so if you're interested in any, keep that in mind. Also keep in mind, most ADW themes have icon packs that should include camera and phone icons you can use to create home screen shortcuts.

Unfortunatly none of these did since I tried to use that method.

Unfortunately, no. Email the developer of the themes you have and say something about it. Just let them know about it.

I just downloaded your kapow theme. Great theme more superman pics pls. Superman for Tomorrow comic has some great artwork in it. Maybe you can add few of those.

I'm glad you like it. That Superman wallpaper is one of the best I've ever come across. Anywho, I'll see if I can get my hands on a digital copy of that comic and poke around.
At any rate, let's not make the thread about me.

I keep running into a parsing error with the paperless adw theme. is there a way you have a captivate version available.

hey your right. i made a theme and only half my icons changed. that was mainly apps from the market. how do you know the right names to do? i was using the underscore instead of . method and using the names from the system/app and system/data files first line of the manifest?
or if your up for it you can make the theme i was trying. basically its a clean theme. transparent app drawer background but with all the androidphone7 metro icons. i have a big metro icon pack if your up for it. it comes with blue black an white versions im after the white ones tho but i think it will be a big hit on the market

[Go Luancher EX Themes] ICS Dark Edition [Update 16/02/2012]

I present my first theme for android, after taking a long time without modding (because my studies), I encourage to make this theme for GoLauncherEX which I think is one of the best launcher for Android, with nothing else to say here I leave it, I hope you guys enjoy it.

COOL theme! can improve though ....
A few issues: the folder drop menu background looks pixelated and distorted, maybe can use a pure black background? Also, the word in the search box is invisible because is white color..
On my Galaxy Note, the position of "All", "Recent", "Running" is too high..should be lower a bit..

Good start.

I don't trust that method then.. sorry if this will offends you.. i hope you have two version of your updates, so you can get more supports on both .. i'm lookong foward for policy change.. anyway, it looks good for an update to see via your screenies.. im a mdpi phone user.. thanks

payment method is manuela because I have no recourse to upload in the market and this is what I look for resources to reach the market

Favorite Apps ???

If this has already been posted I apologize. I am a frequent xda checker and don't think I have seen it.
I spend a lot of time on "home screen" threads and have learned about some awesome Apps that I might not have otherwise. So I thought it might be neat to have a thread devoted to those favorite Apps we use so all of us can benefit and get the most out of our NS's.
I'll start us off...I have been into informational apps lately one of the coolest in my opinion being the "cool tool" overlay. It gives you almost all the info you could want in your status bar. Always having a CPU reading has helped me learn about how kernels, governers, schedulers, and apps run and has helped me to get some great battle life. It is free in the market.

I also use "network signal info" when I hide my signal I the status bar.

Its called "network signal info" it has some cool backgrounds but transparent is pictured. Both network signal info and "cool tool" (status bar) are free

Swipepad is the 2nd or 3rd app I put on my phone when installing a new setup. It makes it so easy for me to download something, send to Dropbox, get link from Dropbox, then post on here or elsewhere. Apps can be selected by user of course..

I have gone through a bunch of calander Widgets trying to find one I liked and they were always a pain in the @ss even the ones I paid for.
I just got "android pro Widgets" (free) and it is working out great. Now all my Widgets have the same theme.

Yeah I use APW on my phones as well. If you pay for unlock key there are tons of themes as well.

Update for these along with all my other packs except for Shady Icons coming tonight or tomorrow morning so make sure to send in any requests you have!

I had to republish this app to the Google Play Store. My computer crashed and I lost all of my files, including my keystore which is used to sign apk files for those of you that are not familiar. There is no way to recover a keystore and Google Play doesn't allow you to update an app with an apk file with a different keystore. If you have paid for either of these apps in the Play Store please send me a message here with your google play e-mail and which icon pack you bought so I can verify and I will send you the update apk file so you do not have to pay again.
Added 86 icons. Themes now contain 451 themed icons.
