Hold the vol up button & home button & power button in that order. Just keep the buttons pressed until u enter recovery mode. u will see the samsung logo twice.
Also, the stock recovery only gives you option for factory restore. Have to flash a suitable cwm recovery before u can utilize this facility.

remove and reinsert battery and be quick when pressing the recovery button.

Entering recovery mode on Ace GT-S5830i, Xcover, Young, Y-Duos, Y-Pro, Y-Pro Duos, M-Pro (Volume up Button) + (Home Button) + (Power button)....so you are not on Mini

galaxy y uses a different button combo..
i think u need to press vol up + power + home buttons to access recovery when the phone is switched off..
or if are rooted, install quick reboot app from playstore and go into recovery with a simple click.

Note 3 accidently wiped ROM and won't boot up

Hello Friends,
I was trying to update my update my att note 3 to dynamic kat 6.1 and accidently wiped the system and internal(I think), as the phone just shut off and tried to boot back but it was stuck on the note logo. I tried using the Volume Up+ Power+ Home or the Volume Down +Power+ Home but none is making it boot up to the ROM. Could someone please help.

Try getting to download mode and Odin back to NC2
FIREKAT V11/S5-V1
---------- Post added at 08:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:34 AM ----------
If you wiped system and sdcard you will have nothing to flash. If you had a backup you could do a restore to stock slot. But if not the only way is to Odin back.

After Recovery flash S6 hangs in boot screen - no download menü possible

Hi. I flashed my S6 G920F with a (wrong) recovery.img and now it hangs up at the first boot screen. "...powered by Android".
I can restart the device with Vol- & Power button, but cannot access the download menu (Vol+ & Power & Home).
Any ideas how I can get access to it?
Odin, Kies 3 or SmartSwitch did not find my device.

Let me correct you Recovery is Volume UP
Download mode is power off them power with VOL DOWN And home all at once Don't do it from a bootloop state
Power it off by holding power till it goes off BEFORE it tries to reboot into the bootloop and then quickly trigger all 3 at once usually VOL down first

Make sure you just flash the correct twrp With Odin. It will be in a .tar format since you'll have to use Odin .
Just Google tmobile s6 twrp and will take you to twrp main page find the tmobile version that clearly says it's tmobile compatible .
Usually sprint and vzw versions are separate
I did this all once before .
This will get you back into a custom recovery and allow a normal reboot of the device
Do yourself a big favor and run a backup in twrp .
Best of luck

Stuck on bootloop

Hi,
I have got a huge problem: got bootloop after flashing Havoc OS because I forgot to instal bootloop fix. But it's not the worse. I have broken volume up button so I cant go to recovery by power+volume up, and, I dont know why, after pressing power+volume down, my phone turn off and I cant even go to fastboot.
Any ideas what can I do?
Please try to press the power button for at least 10 seconds to force reboot the phone, when the MI logo shows up, press power+volume down and enter fastboot. Then connect to computer and reboot to recovery via ADB.
I did that, but the fastbot screen doesn't show up. It was like that because I had Darkness Kernel and it show always darkness theme instead of f.e. fastbot screen. But thanks for answer @andoidZhao.
Problem already solved. Thread's dead :]
Same happened with me..... my vol down button is not working.. when press vol up + power it isn't go to twrp..... Any method to flash rom while phone switch off??
