What are the main benefits of rooting? is it worth it ?
The benefits of rooting for me is to make the handset completely customised to the way I want it. I do it mainly for the custom roms and it gives me full control over everything on my phone!

for me it's that I can overclock or under volt which is really part of customizing the phone and it's all about the custom roms I literally love the rcmix tweaks and all the good stuff found in a Capy ROM also for me is that I can emulate with market access any provider worldwide so that means I can get apps even thou they're not authorized out available for my region!

Hi. I'm really enjoying my comeback to Android OS after being forced to he with IO5 for a while now...anyway, I love my Sensation XL with its beats software and all but found the Combination of PoweAmp player and Beats is Astonishing Experience But sadly it will last only 5 minutes or so then the Beats software Disabled! This only happen when I play stock player then stop then I play PowerAmp and so on..!
My Question is there a way to Enable Beats software with all players in my Phone!? This will make my Beats Monster Rock harder than it is with the PowerAmp and Beats :thumbup:

Well you could try installing either capys or bindroid roms as they have an option in the tweaks setting to enable beats software in all players or beats boost as its called but I'm guessing its the same sort of thing (correct me if I'm wrong)

Hi all and happy new year.
I recently got a HTC XL but have noticed today that after i made about 3 calls one after another the dialer and contacts list started to go mad and each time i touched the screen or soft buttons it select another option on the screen. Has a anyone had issues like this or heard of?
Keep it charged more then %10.

Are you running a stock ROM? what applications are using any memory (if any?)
It is stock Rom, with standard apps running but memory is around 480 used and 110 free

roms in the development forum are all we have at present and all have english. once bootloader is locked should be able to flash one of them. i say should as some device specific devices have had issues with flashing these. one from o2de germany and a turkish device
had same problem myself.... locked phone unlocked phone and screen was working fine again.
Dont know why it did it and only done it once but was a bit strange. This happened on Capy's Rom, so i guess its phone specific and not rom based.
I have experienced similar phenomena when the screen has gotten wet from rain or moist...
My last HTC Legend wasn't this sensitive.
I was looking at it, is there any way to get it on our phone like a apk or something?

Probably not. Just use DSP Manager. Lots more options and you can eek plenty good audio out that way.

Just upgrade your earphone. Or maybe try use Poweramp app and set it equalizer to bass& treble. It'll sound perfect to me. No need for that Beats apks.
I dont think there is a way, but im sure there are equalizer apps on the market you can get to do the same thing.

This phone hasn't been updated in over a year, officially. I wouldn't count on it happening.

but on the other hand, this phone just won't stop pumping out what we throw at it
and it still performs well under pressure from say like new software plenty of people said "couldn't" run on the older hardware ? lolz
This only works for Gingerbread devices. Unzip the files and put them in /system. Download the zip here.
hi there is any call recording mod for sensation xl ics 4.03 insanly cool 3 musketeers
Check on Google for different apps, as far as i know 2 way recording should be available on the device, if not i will try to implement it in the future release of LTX kernel.

yep that is true they made it and credits will go to them, but i have added tweaks and some stuff giving it a little extra
also saw that a big team L.E.R from china working on a sense 4 rom for sensation xl

if we in develop options set it to avoid sleep while charging it will let it charge... according to what the g21 guyes have found out i will test it but for now it charges just fine
