I've got the same one. Nothing says MAN like tires and leather. Besides, its a good tradoff between protective and slim.

I have to agree, I was at the store comparing this and the Otterbox and I just couldn't justify the bulk of the otterbox so I got this case and so far I like it. Actually makes the phone feel better and more rounded and I don't press the volume button all the time like I was doing without the case.

looks not thin, but i think very good for protection

I got this case as well, I like it. Tight fit, doesn't add that much bulk and the leather is a nice touch.

Side effect of this case that I didn't realize until I was in my car is the headphone jack area Might be too small for certain headphone jack accessories to go in. Hence why I had to return the case. Hopefully they don't make the same mistake on all the cases. Shall have to wait and see.

I have this case and love it. The above is true but i use wireless headphones. For my car to plug into the aux input i found a cable from radio shack that has a very slim profile and works great with the case.
I wouldnt hesitate to give it a try. It looks far better on the phone than it does in the packaging.

They must have changed the headphone port. Mine case has a more than adequate hole. I can't imagine any headset plug large enough to interfere. If it does, just drill out the hole.

I got a black one like this when I got my Vivid. However, I found the power button hard to turn on and off. The case covers the button (and the volume rocker as well) with a "flexible" covering (see third picture of top). It took some pressure to make the button work.
After a few weeks, I got a Raider case from Amazon for $4. The power button is exposed, but it is much easier to turn on and off.

I think I posted somewhere but this is what I did, cut around the power button about a half, it's so much easier now.

This case is quite nice once you make a slight incision around the power button. I personally used an xacto knife and made one incision at the further indented area where the back's 45 degree meets the power button. That will provide plenty of give and would be invisible to the eye.

They are selling for $5 on both Amazon and AT&T sites right now.
I like the looks of the brown leather, but not the black so much. Anyone know where to get one that isn't black? Even the brown ones seem to be listed as black. Kinda confusing.

Ebay rubberized cases

Anyone bought one? i figured $6 a piece...y not
Sent from my wifes shift because its way better than my hero.
I got mine today. Bought it from a seller off ebay. I can't post links yet else I would show you which one. Sorry.
It makes the phone kinda thick and its definitely not rubberized just cheap flimsy plastic. The front cover on mine does not stay on. looks like it was miss manufactured and is missing a tab. Contacted the seller and he's sending me a new front cover. Hopefully this one is better. The back piece stays on pretty solid. In fact I'm scared to take it off. Feels like I might break the tabs on it if I do. Makes it hard to slide the keyboard out lots of resistance but my phones slide is pretty resistive to began with.
I bought one on ebay as well. Maybe it's just my luck, mine works fine, both the front and back cover stays on. I am not sure what the previous poster means by it's not rubberized, mine pretty much feels like the back of the shift but a bit more smooth/less rubbery, if that makes sense.
It does make the shift thicker, but to me it makes sense because it protects the camera lense & screen when you put the phone flat on a surface. But it does make the power button harder to press when I wasn't used to the case. FYI it's about 2mm thinner than the Seidio case, according to my measurement against the measurement someone posted for the Seidio case.
The only thing I don't like about it is that there is a slight bow on the right side of the front cover. You can't tell by looking but it doesn't stay against the side of the screen and there's a slight give when you press on it.
Wife and I got ours, no problems what so ever, sweetg colors too! Def is rubberized

How does this feel in your hands. On my shift, when I am messaging for awhile with my hardware keyboard, the hard edge on the back of the screen starts to dig into my hand, and I often will hit the power button. Has anyone who has gotten one of these rubberized cases noticed this before (or after) they got this case? Can anyone take a few picture of these with the keyboard open please?
thanks!
I just got this case because my prior case (the one in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926269) was a bit bulkier than I wanted. However, that just means that now the whole issue of hitting the volume key is back.
Oh well. I'll keep this one for a bit to see if I get used to it or if need to switch back to my other one. FYI for everyone, I got the black version and this has a few bits of plastic pieces that got baked onto the back during the manufacturing process. Not a big enough deal for me to exchange an $8 case over, but just so you're aware there might be some minor quality issues.

hey robrob777, I noticed that on picture 8 and 11 the front flap doesn't fit properly over the screen after being folded to the back? (there's a small gap between one of the segments and the N7 screen)
Does this cover turn the device off when folded completely behind it like most of the Chinese smart covers?
I have this case as well and I am completely happy with the quality and build. It performs as described. Smart cover feature works as designed.

Yes there is a gap, it doesnt sit flat on the screen, the inside segment of the cover doesnt touch the screen maybe beacuse of the material. Anyway on off works perfect. Magnet is very good.

really good keyboard. the feel of the keys are solid and the keyboard itself is made from some sort of aluminium or metal.
downside is i can't find a file that re-maps the keyboard to utilize some of the buttons to work better with android.

I know this is HTC One forum, but I had an HTC Evo 4g and within about 2 weeks I noticed cracks in the band. What eventually happened is it cracked near my volume button and actually separated one day when I pulled my phone out of my pocket. Had to use black electrical tape ever since. It's nothing more than a ROM flashing gadget and game console for my niece now. Google htc case crack, and you'll see a lot of hits. Pretty common thing with HTC.

Did you somehow bend it? Let me see the front. Looking at the black(screen) part it's like you flexed it forcibly or somehow it's like you sat down on it.

It's kept in a case in the inside pocket of my jacket. This thing is being cared for like a new born child. There was a slight imperfection around the volume rocker that I noticed when I received it. I thought I would live with it but now that it's cracking I'm going to have to call up and get a replacement.

That's very dissappointing then. I really am confused how it cracked like that. Even the lowest of quality plastics don't just go crack up without any reason. It's like...
lol!
These fractures are typical result of bending. I suppose the plastic element got bent before it was assembled and passed the QC unnoticed.
I've checked mine which I have had for 9 days and no cracks whatsoever. I do have the small gap problem at both the top and bottom of the phone but it is very small and I am not going to switch it since so many people have it and I will probably just end up with another device with the same problem. The gap doesn't bother me that much anyway.

KAYSCASE Slim Hard Shell Cover Case

I used this exact case for my M7 phone and I love it. It's still the best case in my opinion. It doesn't add much to the phone and it's a hard shell transparent case that protects the metal side from scratches.
I just bought it on Amazon and I will show some pictures once I get it.

mine feels kinda loose on all the corners except the bottem left, but its not like a loose where the case is going to fall off or anything its like there is a tiny bit of play. i've noticed that trying to take this case off is kind of difficult but not extremly hard it's just weird, all in all a good slim case i think, only had it on for about 12 hours thou

feels a little better than the phone itself, i can't say anything about the other colors because i have the black one and it feels good on the phone. there are no lips around the screen so i wouldn't recommend setting the phone on the screen part as the screen will be touching the surface
My clear came in today. It def makes the phone easier to hold. The clear scratches very easily (in fact I think it came with light scratches) but I expected that from reading the reviews. I like it because its really thin and doesn't add that much bulk.

I put mine on and took it off a bunch of times. I don't think I like the case at all. I doubt it will protect the phone at all during a drop. About the only thing it will do is protect the back from scratches which i'm not that worried about.

Does it seem like it would fit well with a slim case as well? I have one on order from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IKPJX4G/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_3p_M3T1_ST1_dp_1), so if I could get an arm band where I can just slip my phone in with the case still on, that would be perfect.

More than likely the Amazon listing just uses stock photos, not example photos for each supported device.
Has anyone else tried either of the two armband's listed here with cases? If so how well do they fit?
I used the hip clip. Easy to slide on and off the side of my shorts while running and changing tracks or volume. I use the wristband as my arnband. My car is also moded so that I can just clip on and off. Save me a couple bucks on the car dock and armband. Best of all its very convenient.
Hip Clip
I thought of getting the Hip Clip too! Looks like it would be most handy in other situations as well.

Hmmm...
At what point does a phone become too large for an armband. My Evo LTE felt too big to go on my arm. I've opted for the Jaybird bluetooth headphones and keep the phone in the pocket.
I've got this: http://www.armpocket.com/ultra-i-35tm.html
Works perfect. The hole for the headphone jack matches up perfectly. Couldn't be any happier.
Anyone else gotten a running armband they like recently? Considering the Tunebelt one and hoping it fits the HTC One M8 with the UAG case. I sent a quick email to the company to ask them if they thought it would be an issue.
Have my M8 about a week now and it's great and although it's bigger than my OneX+ I'm still going to run with it. I'm currently based in Vietnam and it's pretty hot here so sweat can be an issue. Can you guys verify if these cases offer sweat resistance or water resistance at all. Many thanks.
