The kernel is custom build from the aosp source (same as stock 2.3.7) with the following changes:

- pvr-driver backported from aosp tuna kernel (source patch)
- v2: bcm4329 parameter backport, for tethering (source patch)
- v2: android usb gadget driver backported from aosp tuna kernel, for usb support
- v2: xt_qtaguid and xt_quota2 backported from aosp tuna kernel, for data stats
- v3: fixes for earlier backported drivers (kernel source)
Other kernels will not work unless they include the patches above
Notes
- device config for this build - source code
- pvr updated to 1.8 from omap-tuna kernel - kernel patch
- imgtec drivers from maguro - drivers
- mxt224-patch from syndtr - kernel patch
- audio and camera library from beezy's ics sdk port

Changes in v2
- Optimized binaries (user build)

Are you serious?? Har you succeded with the first working ICS AOSP ROM??? Downloading ATM...

Nice! I will try it out, thanks! I think Koush got the wifi working on his build, maybe if you could contact him he would have some advice on how to get it working?

i think this has to belong in the development section

Installing on my GT-I9023 as we speak. And it boots. It actually bloody boots. As previously stated, Wi-Fi doesn't work. It will detect the networks, though, so it's possible that it can be sorted, I suppose. Face unlock works a treat, and the camera also seems to work. Good work by the original poster.

downloading now, thank you for sharing!

IT WORKS!!!

Thanks very much for bringing this too us. I have downloaded but am slightly hesitant to flash this. I have an I9020A, if anybody flashes please report back.
As far as bricking a device goes, that comes into play with flashing radios or zips with radios right?

Im going to install this on my 9020A (In white! ). I wont be home for a few hours though...

i have read somewhere on the previous Drew SDK ICS based rom thread that adding manually a network should allow to connect to wifi without problems, something like that

Its running great! I'm happy now ;/

[ROM][GT-P7500] CM9 KANG (ICS Preview) (03/25/2012)

Hi all,
this is a CM9 KANG built for the GT-P7500 (3G) model.
What does KANG mean, I hear you asking? It means I'm not the one responsible for the code behind this ROM, it's all CyanogenMod/pershoot/isimobile (as noted below).
I "only" compiled it and wrote this nice post, sharing my KANG along the way. Hope you will like it!
All credits to the CyanogenMod team and Pershoot, they're the real heroes.
Credits to isimobile as well for the 3G stuff. All you guys are great, keep up the awesomeness!
Needless to say, don't bug the CyanogenMod team about bugs (pun intended).
Also, neither I nor CM will be held responsible if your Tab explodes (or any other unfortunate side effect).
That being said, it should work beautifully
What is working:
- 3G
- WiFi tethering
- HW video decoding
- Quite a lot more
Not working:
- Camera
Bugs:
- For auto-brightness to work, lock/unlock the screen once.
- Searching for network providers doesn't work.
How to install:
Do a FULL WIPE/FACTORY RESET & WIPE CACHE in CWM if coming from another ROM!
If coming from any previous version of this ROM, full wipe/cache wipe shouldn't be necessary.
Then, flash in this order:
ROM
Gapps
Kernel modules (optional)
without rebooting between flashes.
Additional info:
To get 3G working, make sure you have the right APN with the right settings for your network provider selected.
For the most part this is autodetected but sometimes it's not detected properly.
Kernel modules are optional. If you want support for things like nfs, ps3 controllers etc... flash this. You will have to do the modprobing yourself (in a terminal window: first get root access with su, then modprobe <modulename-without-.ko>)
cifs.ko, ntfs.ko and tun.ko got moved into the ROM, no need for modules zip if you just want those.
To get your Tab to show up on your computer when connected via USB, goto Settings -> Storage -> click the three dots in the upper-right corner. Enable MTP or PTP.
Looking for a changelog? There's no changelog in the traditional sense but the latest merged changes can be seen here: http://review.cyanogenmod.com/#q,status:merged branch:ics,n,z (ignore all android_kernel_* and android_device_* projects) & https://github.com/pershoot/
Don't flash the kernel from Pershoots thread on this ROM. The latest kernel is included in this ROM already. The one in Pershoots thread is for Honeycomb.
Bandwidth kindly provided by my friend snapcase. Thanks man
Download (latest):
ROM: GT-P7500-CM9-KANG-032512-maba.zip - 121 MB (MD5: coming)
Requires CWM recovery from here (flash in Odin via "PDA" button). Thread by pershoot here
Refreshed CM sources, with new official boot animation
WiFi fixed, FOR REAL this time Pershoot has worked very hard on it, please thank him! WiFi Direct not working though at the moment.
Fewer graphical glitches (opening recent apps on home launcher still glitches)
Voice search fix is now obsolete; upgrade gapps to a newer version instead
Kernel modules: GT-P7500-CM9-KANG-032512-maba-kernel-modules.zip - 6.7 MB (MD5: coming)
Modules will be installed to /system/lib/modules, this will make modprobe find them properly
Gapps:
Download gapps from here
Download one of the newer gapps from that page (one of the gapps-ics-2012* files).
If doing an upgrade from an earlier version of gapps, be aware that upgrading gapps can make your tab unbootable. In this case you have to wipe data!
Remember to make a backup before upgrading gapps just in case!

got confused because they have the same av
from the other thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21717652&postcount=745
This is not an "older kang". This is freshly compiled from cyanogenmods and pershoots git, with the added code from isimobile and related build config to get 3G working for the GT-P7500 device.
So it's not AOKP in any way, this is "stock" CM9.
Anyway, I'm gonna get some sleep now, it's 4AM here and I'm off to work in ~3 hours.
are you serious right now... you mean the only thing wrong with this is the camera, the. Back camera right the front camera is working or what?
Just posting to confirm that htis indeed works perfectly on the T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G. I am getting download speeds of around 11 mbps.
Thanks m8!
Downloading now and flashing on my way to work later. How am I gonna focus on working 2day?!
Anyone game enough to try this on the 10.1V P7100?

[ROM][Arc][AOKPeria] V2 m6 | Released [Juli 08]

Hi all,
since Supervenom created his alpha0 from the AOKP sources i am very interrested in this rom. I found the rom from Davibs and decided to help to made it awesome. Since Davibs announced to sell his arc i thougth about it and takeover the project
Now im in contact with supervenom and we will make the ROM perfect.
I have to learn much in android but with help it will be easy
Atm the rom is based on AOKP milestone 6 and CM9
what works:
- Boots
- Camera

- Orientation
- Touchscreeen
- Sound
- Wi-Fi (with FXP127 Kernel)
- USB Debug
- GSM
- GPS

- USB Mass storage
- Video playback

What does not work:
- rebootmenu still buggy (recovery mode) ? fixed ?
- Panorama ? fixed ?
Milestone 6 was the last ICS release by AOKP. They make a break and will be back with JB there is no ETA. So in this time i only merge the cm9 fixed and try to make the kernel perfect.

eagerly waiting for stable release..!!
Wifi hotspot is not working in your ROM?
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
The aokp rom is arguably the fastest ics rom, but battery life has been pretty dreadful. It's the one thing that prevents me using it permanently.
Wifi hotspot isnt working for now. but hopefuly soon (fxp related)
Found that contacts apk isnt themed (my fault) uploaded an hotfix see first post
Thanks for the rom, I really like AOKP.
Like Allessandra rom and the other AOKP one, rom control doesn't have data toggle, you can replace ROMcontrol.apk by the one from the latest AOKP build (build35). Themed black contact is awesome, like it.
By the way, if you need help I will be happy to help you if I can. I haven't so much of knowledge but I can learn fast, so...
Good luck, really hope AOKP became stable for our Arc / S.
Cheers.
Will fix romcontrol.apk wrong Version when im home 8pm

Hi
@ sirkay: That sounds realy nice you are awesome take your time

Okay, I found a little problem, at least for me.
I use an app called "Neufbox TV" in France wich is an app for watch adsl TV. I can't remember if it work on other AOKP but on your ROM, there's sound but no video at all.
Don't know if it can be fixed ?
@nono83
please make an logcat when running the app then i can look at this.
When you dont now how to create the logcat feel free to pm me
Thanks mericon.
I'm back on my Gingerbread backup. I'll test again when you make a new release or if I'm bored this week-end.
Thanks again.

CHANGES LOG:
[09/24] - Fixed more data bugs. It's MUCH improved.
[09/21] - Updates STOCK-base build. Added HWComposer, Camera function, fixed native cm10 wifi tether and CM10 updates
I will do my best to maintain this thread with notes for the current development of CM10/JB on the Droid 4
This isn't so much a ROM as it is a ROM-base to use CM10 on our Droid devices

KEXEC-based kernel.
Each of these builds has different issues and you can judge for yourself which you prefer.
STOCK-BASED BUILD ISSUES [09/24]:
STABILITY: STABLE
USABILTY: ALPHA
KERNEL DETAILS:
Stock Motorola 3.0.8 kernel based on TI's 4AI.1.5 release
PowerVR bins [email protected]

Most phone functions
HWComposer for DSS composition/overlays
HD codecs (YouTube and Netflix support)
CURRENTLY NOT WORKING
Camera (need to write kernel-based cam sensor drivers)
[*]TURN OFF Bluetooth while it's not paired -- causes "no audio" issue when left enabled
Using this ROM requires Safestrap v2.11 currently. As things progress we may add support for Bootstrap or others in.
In all cases moving from ICS to JB, I recommend a full wipe and Titanium Backup restore of just apps+data.
If moving from KEXEC <-> STOCK there might be some issues where you will need to wipe and restore. Be aware.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLASHING:
1. Download the ROM from the above link
2. Grab Jellybean GApps
3. Place both files on your SD card
4. Reboot into Safestrap by pressing [menu] at the splash screen
5. If necessary format /system when swapping from ICS to JB to make sure that GApps and other files are reset correctly
6. Also if necessary do a wipe of data/cache (when moving between ICS and JB)
7. Flash the .zip files as normal
8. Reboot and let the phone sit for about 1 minute while it re-indexes files, etc.
SCREEN SHOTS:
(adding as I get time -- it's stock CM10 -- you know?)

Can't get data to work at all on 828 build of kexec, but man is it smooth!
Sent from my XT894 using Tapatalk 2
I'm not asking for an ETA (I know better ), but is the camera driver on the KEXEC builds more of a soon kind of thing or a later kind of thing? If you guys need to rewrite the driver entirely, I'm guess it's more of a later kind of thing.
I've tried everything with both versions, I simply can't get any data to work at all. toggleing or any other trick just isn't working for me.
8/24 buttons don't work.
Has anyone been able to use these and get data??

Everything is looking pretty good. I am also having a problem launching the camera, it just won't launch. I'm also having a problem connecting to LTE data. But I'm able to connect to WiFi and make calls. A very good improvement in the right direction! Way to go Hashcode! (running stock verison)

Good start mate.. :good:
I don't get it with the lte!!!! You have to change band to have lte or you can stay in the same ? I mean if you use lte , at the same time you can make a phone call or maybe because of the band you could use only lte?
Thanks for the ROM

I don't quite understand your question, but LTE works for data if your mobile carrier supports LTE on Band 4 specifically. This has to do with the hardware limitations of the chip that is built into the phone. For example, LTE works for me because I'm on T-Mobile (US) in an area that's covered with their LTE towers.
I've regularly seen speedtests above 20 Mb/s depending on where you are.

Multisim FAQ
How to enable/disable multisim?
Type the following on terminal
Enable:
Code:
su
setprop persist.radio.multisim.config dsds
Disable:
Code:
su
setprop persist.radio.multisim.config none
Dual SIM has the following limitations:
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled
The QuickSettings tile will display the status for the currently selected SIM for data
Changing 2G/3G network mode using the QuickSettings toggle is not supported, only do it from Settings.
3G may not work properly if Dual SIM mode is enabled with only 1 SIM inserted
If you are looking for newer CM versions:
-CM 12.1
Ok finally kk for our phones:victory: however pretty buggy
I still need to apply pawitp's patches, so I'm not sure if dual sim is working, you can report more bugs that not are in the first post

Thanks about the info, Dhinesh already told me about those fixes. The FC fix worked but used the microphone patch and it seems it didn't work to me, probably I need to do something else but I'm sure that patch is also needed for this the Galaxy Music.
Still, I will release next cm 11 today
Edit: Already added to the first post. I need people to test dualsim functionality because my phone is the single sim version
Edit2: Great news only to add a flag to the device tree to make the patch work, so today released RC1. The only bugs are the same bluetooth issue on cm 10.1 and wifi tethering

Lol that was an unespected request, but why not? new year came to my country half hour ago uploading RC 2 of cm 11.0 and more later may upload a nameless RC 2 with same changes, however dual sim will still not work on these releases
Edit:
For these releases will be:
-Low ram mode keeping transparent status bar
-fix of manual network search, I hope so
-Soft reboot option on advanced reboot
-More compressed kernel (so the size of boot.img will decrease a little)
-Small updates about SELinux
Edit 2
Already uploaded happy 2015
Thank you mannn...waiting for dual sim
