The main list can only be viewed that way but you can make a play list and then change the order of the songs to whatever you want it to be
change the music app and get a decent music player (PowerAmp sounds like a good candidate) + extras!
In google music application chose folder instead of recent, etc...

Hey im looking for an app that i can start my pandora every morning at a specific time, or create a play list to play songs to use as an alarm clock does anyone know of an app that does this for android?
i've got doubletwist installed on my phone, and when in the clock alarm settings, when i go to choose my song, it gives me the option of using doubletwist or android system...choosing doubletwist lets me choose from any of my music files on the phone...not sure if it works with playlist files or not, as i don't have any on my phone.
You can use Tasker to do that .

Hey I'm on CM7 right now and uninstalled the default music player so i could download the honeycomb one. everything is fine except when i try and add song to a playlist it says "add to playlist not implemented" and i cannot create playlists (or at least fill them with songs). anyone else know what to do or having similar problems. i thought that maybe if u upload it to the cloud u could manage it there and sync playlists with the phone? i dunno
Might help if I go back to stock app then make playlists then come over

I need this due to a large amount of audio books, and I like to keep musik and reading in different apps.

I search a bit and I found 'Folder Player' on the store
Haven't tried it but good reviews and seems to do what you need

I also need folders (I hate ID3 libraries) and I'm using Poweramp Music Player. It's overall a very good music player!
"Folder Player" downloaded and works nice. I need to fiddle arount a bit to see if i like it as my default

I have music files on My Bionic External SD and want to move them to the 'Download' app on the X , any help ?
It looks like the music files will end up in the google play app . . guess I'll hafta learn to like that particular app other music app suggestions ?
Yeah, Pandora. I never have to transfer files. YMMV.

Move them over to the Music folder using a computer. Can use any music player app afterwards, they should recognize it.
Got music files moved no prob and after looking, I trying out the Amazon mp3 player, it does allow creating playlists ans seed all music in the music folder. Has ads , , but then I never watch the screen while I listen . . .lol. It will just play music alphabetically if you play from the music folder, so I'm about to create a playlist. It seems to support multiple playlists. I'm wondering if any Xposed modules would block ads ? anyone suggest other ad blockers ?
Just realized that with stock music controls that works for play music, doesn't work for Pandora. I can pause music but not change songs. Anyone know of a app that will allow this?
Edit: I'm actually thinking I can't change songs because I'm out of skips. Hopefully that's all it is.
