The phone storage is a flash drive built into and fixed to the phone. The internal storage is the equivalent of an SD card although it cannot be removed. Things such as downloaded apps and system firmware is stored in the phone storage and all your music and photos are stored in the internal storage.
When you copy files to and from a PC/MAC, those too are placed in the internal storage.

Am I the only person that has noticed an untruth with regards to the HTC task manager in the app drawer?
In no way does it correlate with "running services", as far as RAM being used and RAM that is free goes...

To install
- put the apk in system/app
- set permissions to rw r r
- install the app like normal apk
Update:
New apk added as the old one won't work any more because Samsung and vlingo stopped it
Don't forget to delete the old one from system/app
If it FC when you speak turn off the voice promotes as this app is made for Samsung devices so you have to push some other files to the system and this files is not for our HTC phones

After putting it in system/app, open the apk and install it like normal apk. It is working for me without Fc except when I tell it to play music.

What do you mean by spam messages?
Do you mean the delivery reports that can be disabled from the messaging app settings or other things?
No she means the status bar ads that keep getting sent to her phone, she's tried airpush detector and deleted stuff but still more come back

Clear the electrical contacts on the bottom of the flap and look in to advanced menu for "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep.
Maybe some 3rd app for saving a battery messing up.
Keep WiFi on during sleep is only thing on, where's the clear bit, its weird on my sensation xe WiFi bar says 4 bars, on xl says 1 and there right next to eachother

XL have some antenna amplifier built into the rear part of the flap or like i say some 3rd app messed up.
How will I find 3rd party apps that would be doing this type of thing

I had that prob too. But thanks to some app that i didn't know was causing me random freezing ( i think it was viber), i had to do a hard reset. After that the WiFi is stiff like Stiffler

Hi I have a sensation xl and it is a rooted phone since the root which was done a while ago I encountered a problem I think that maybe I could have accidentaly deleted something but not sure.
Ok now the problem the phone works fine but I have lost the ring which you swipe too unlock the phone you just swipe the phone it unlocks without the ring being there secondly the clock widget does not display the numbers on the surround of the clock also the same on all of the other standard widgets on the phone never shows the full display on any thing apart from the outline of the widget or just the text
