Boot loop prior on stock, can't get to main screens

Hi all,
Got an XL here with a boot loop, it's not rooted, nor has it had anything done to it, it's just not getting to the main screen, HTC white boot loop.
I can get to fastboot, bootloader, not recovery.
Any ideas how to get this back on it's feet?
Thanks.

this is not the htc sensation xl thread...however if you cannot access to bootloader you should try to use adb to reboot bootloader and then perform a factory reset

Do you know what region the XL had installed? Then you could run the relevant ruu to get it back to stock

I'm in the UK, the phone is unlocked, i'm assuming that it's just the europe ruu, i donwloaded both of them from the official ruu thread and attempted to flash both but neither worked, one had a signature fail and the other just errored out.
I've went ahead with the revolutionary unlock and flashed a custom recovery using their tool after unlocking s-off, but i still can't get to recovery nor factory reset.
I'm at a loss.
Please use this thread instead of this one.
Many thanks

you must relock your bootloader
go to your bootloader menu with the volume down en power
open cmd on your computer
To re-lock your bootloader, in the command prompt, type: fastboot oem lock.
I already did, the problem I have is that after re-locking the bootloader need the RUU for the phone, but I have tried all and nothing has worked for me
Have you tried to do a factory reset? I know that I have some problems in the past after relocking the bootloader. Then I have did a fresh ruu install maybe you have the wrong ruu for your region

I dont think there is any T-mob GER RUU out there
you'll have to flash a CWM ROM close to stock
I want to install the stock rom because I installed some games and they are closed or are not compatible, but worked before installing a custom rom
anyone have any solution?

Why don't you install Alex's ROM, any games that work on stock should work with that.

Well, that thread you posted in the post i quoted is from HTC Sensation forum, and this is HTC Sensation XL, which is a totally different device, so go search in the right place , and if you have htc Sensation Xl, then please state some other details like HBoot version, S-OFF or S-ON and other things like that, anyway, if you ARE on Sensation XL, check the tool from my signature, it should get you where you need
Hope this helps.
well i suppose that's what happens when you try to root your phone when its late
i do have the sensation xl and
hboot is 1.28.0006
bootloader is unlocked
s-on
All sorted now! that tool worked brilliantly

[Q] Sensation XL soft bricked :(

Hi,
I had sensation xl running on Cyanogenmod 9 and clockworkmod recovery was also working okay. I downloaded bindroid rom zip and tried to install it using clockworkmod after formatting the data/cache. The installation failed and it wiped ICS too and I was unable to restore it to a clockworkmod saved backup. :crying:
I flashed the boot.img for clockworkmod again. Now I am able to open clockworkmod in recovery mode but still I am not able to open the memory card in clockworkmod to choose zip file for installation. I get this error message:Can't mount /sdcard/.
If I choose USB mount and click on the drive on my PC, I get message that the drive is not formatted do you want to format it..
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this??

Try and flash twrp recovery manually

You can try to go to mount/unmount and choose option "mount as USB storage" or simular. And then on Your PC you can format drive (if it isn't formated yet.)

Update
The situation even got worse now.
I read somewhere in the forums that a similar person with same problem tried these commands in ADB shell.
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=16 count=1
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=16 count=1
I ran those two commands and now my phone is completely bricked. I can't even go to recovery and fastboot. No matter for how long I push power or power+volume down button, nothing shows up on phone, not even HTC logo with white screen.
I don't know what to do now. Any suggestions?

Okay, now we need to be sure it is a htc sensation xl you got? Also if connected with usb cable does the computer indecate that it is connected? Normally it will play a tone in windows when connected. Finnally post the like to the place you found that line

UPDATE
Yes, it is a sensation XL and there was no response when I attached it with computer. Finally I went for mobile repair and the repair guy powered it using JTAG. Now he can go to fastboot mode but there is no recovery installed. The CID number was 2.36.709.3 but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Can anyone help me in finding RUU with CID 2.36.709.3?

Try from fastboot and write fastboot getvar cid
What is that say? The cid you posted sounds not like the cid but more like software number.

Maybe 2.36.709.3 is software number, CID was I think HTC_621 or something . It's kernel is available on HTCDEV site but I am not able to find it's RUU file anywhere over the internet. Yes, I am back to stuck.
My HBOOT version is 1.28, bootloader locked (i can unlock it if required) and S-On. Just wanted to know how can I S-OFF the phone? Can anyone mention the steps required if I want to flash a custom room??
