The Battery life has always been the hot topic on every rom, mod and other subjects. The more colors that show on the screen does in fact use more battery than a minimal colored screen...
So I decided to make a clean version of ICS. I see a difference in my battery life since I made this theme. Try it out.

I was actually trying something out... since samsung started making dark menus and and other things in the newer phones, it got me thinking. I wonder if it would save some battery life if not a lot of screen was lit. I've been testing this for a couple days... seems to give me about an extra hour or 2.
Only thing I would change is the color of the wifi, bluetooth, signal, etc. with the notification bar pulled down. It always bugs me that when the notification bar isnt open they are blue or what ever color, but then when you open it they all go white.
Other than that looks like fun. Ill be installing this tomorrow.

Thats weird.... Remove the theme and redownload it... I left it open, so that people can edit the theme before coverting it to the new theme format. Cuz once thats done.. it locks it.

It uses less baterry than normal, even on LCD screens. Uses more than the AMOLED ones, but less than white backgrounds.

Very nice theme. There are still a few light themed items - the buttons in Gmail and the bottom bar in the Messaging list screen - but it's not a lot. I think some of the menus can use separators but that's my opinion. Overall very nice, I'm using it now.

I dont have this issue in the notification pull down, but I have it in the add widgets.

I really liked how Legend added a bit of color to the tabs in Music, Clock, and others. Then I found that Fresh added even more color so credit goes to Flipz and also HTC for the original idea. Your Lockscreen Arch, your launcher, and yours tabs will change, also I have only tested this on PlainJane2.0 so morph at your own risk

Just the Backward Pause/Play Forward buttons for the music player widget, unless you can think of anything else? lol and no I'm not the type of guy to run off and such, honestly I'm just like everyone else here, a user. I really don't know much except swapping out or theme'ing a couple of pngs here and there with photoshop but what I do know I try and help out

The only ones I can think of are ones for the HTC News app.. other than that, it looks like you've covered everything else

worked awesome on xtrSENSE4.0.6.1; i'm really liking the extra glossy look plus the additional color!
p.s. in xtrSENSE, the little green fob that shows which home page you're on STAYS green, but the launcher itself gets glossy. Looks sick!

One bug so far : in the notification bar (one pulled down), the background isn't clear white but shows like a grey-out checkerboard...

Not a bug. It's stock. I ported it directly from AOSP, no modifications.

i had a go today but i have no theming knowledge. my guess is it would only involve using most of the assets from the honeybread hdpi theme and just replacing the notification drop down headers and background.

This is awesome, I've been waiting for someone to do this for a while, BUT the notification power widget still turns out grey, like it hasn't changed from gingerbread at all. I've tried reinstalling and rebooting but the problem still exists :/

Such as black menus and sub menus...black settings menu...im just not a fan of white on these phones and I think the Blue glow would look better over black than white
EDIT: Looking at the original i9000 thread it has all black menu's etc...it looks good....All the screenshots of yours are white so if I spoke prematurely I apologize as this is a WIP

Nice job, Mike. I love dark and blue themes, and this is no exception. Though I will reserve for maybe some more themed stuff, such as the dialer, messaging.apk, etc. The devil is in the details, but I love your start on it, this has MAJOR potential, nice port.

Still reserved for the moment, unless you need a tester, I'd gladly help you with that if needed, but again, I HAVE to say it AGAIN, VERY NICE START.
Obviously gunner is still in the beginning stages, and this looks like it will be great when it is finished. I posted this over at AC where I spend more time, but I wanted to let everyone see what could happen when you mix and match and combine the great talents of the awesome themers. The blue icons in the notification bar for gunner's theme look awesome when combined with Nitro's blue wallpapers from his themes. Just imagine this with blue themed icons in the dock.

Ok one thing so far I see is when the 3g is not running like no data going in or out it just shows 3g d. And it's all gray well its stands out like a red head in china. But I love the battery and pull down menu and the shutdown menu. One thing I ask not to be there is crazy screen animation from screen to screen, I think it just makes them look kiddy or cheep. But so far so good if u need a tester holler at me on here or ac or twitter.

Looks awesome. Maybe a battery percentage in numbers instead of battery icon? Also is it possible to make signal, wifi, 3g etc any larger? Look forward to more of your work.

Had a problem installing this... Tried there times (I really love the look! ) but had to odin back after each... Put me into a loop of sports where the android boot abomination would play and the little half buzz you get when the phone is finishing its boot would happen every 15 seconds or so.
Is it just me?

This is my first shot at a public theme. I hope you like it as much as I do. This has the 1x/3g mod added into it. As well as some other mods like 1% circle battery mod. Also a different dialer pad . I also set the lockscreen clock to the same color. Overscroll is in here as well.

Flash through clockwork mod . Because this clears the dalvik it will take a little while to reboot.

So, flashed the theme. Very basic, but that's what I wanted. Thought I liked it, but then my battery got down to 74% and the battery icon turned bright green. The green battery looks really bad (just my opinion) with all the cool blue. If you changed the icon so that it stays blue until you get down to 15%, then turn red, I think that would look much better. If I can easily find a blue battery gauge, I may change it for myself.
Even though I won't don't like it because of the battery, I hit thanks anyway since I can probably base my own for personal use off of this.

I was going for basic theme.
so I'm running the sleeper rom, and any of your themes/mods are breaking my power menu. When I try to get the menu, it vibrates, then is rebooting, it will start to bring up the lock screen, then are will cc, and it reboots, etc etc...
Any ideas?

Yes, this theme is not compatible with roms that use the extended power menu. You will need to either switch your ROM or theme.

Been searching for on with the circle battery green till 15% and the wifi and signal bars the same color with the same slim look as stock GB.
