What music player do you use on your GNote? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering what do you use to play your music.

I use MixZing PlayerPro. Great interface, many options/customization, excellent equalizer, highly recommended!
For my video player I'm using MX Video Player Pro. Once again a great player which even plays subtitles and plays ANYTHING you throw at it, theres never been a video it cannot play.
It also makes use of dual core processors therefore playing 720p & 1080p content is silky smooth & crystal clear.

Hows mixzing at organising the music. Can you delete tracks while playing them, does it updates the metadata, album or track cover?

It's great. With regards to organization you can sort by artist, albums, songs, genres or playlists.
Best part about the player is the equalizer! Goes from 30hz to 16khz and even has a preamp!
When playing tracks you can:
Refresh Artwork
Add tp Playlist
Delete
Use as Ringtone
All by Artist
All on Album
Home
Settings
Help
You can also edit tags, share and even identify song.
I strongly recommend this app, there is a free basic edition but if you like it pay for the pro version...

I'm using PowerAMP, works great, as it did on my HTC Desire. I'm also using the free Klipsch app from the Market for headset control.

im using double twist. . its itunes for android. .

Ubermusic.

I was updating metadata of music in my phone and by mistake it changed the artist of all the songs to pussycat dolls

Does it do true gapless MP3s? I have allot of Floyd, which would be ruined if gaps or pops/clicks were heard between songs.

Some habits are hard to break.
I've been using WinAmp for over a decade, and will use it in 2012 for sure. EQ, play by folders, and Shoutcast are the main reasons. Here's to hoping that many of the great plug-ins make it to Android...

PowerAMP, like most people.

Im using a a music player called 3
Im looking for one that does not have any random audio skipping when I do something on the phone, PowerAMP skips a lot even if I have the audio thread at highest with 700ms buffering.

I installed mixzing n loving it...

Yeah, I think it's one of the best players...
I've tried every other player but stuck with MixZing...

Wow. None of you are using Google Music?
I guess that still might be US only. Damn it's amazing though.

I use playerpro, imho it's best

Mortplayer. It allows me to play by folder only. Doesnt rely on media scan. Works even if MS is disabled.

Haha, everyone has listed a different music player!
This is normal since different people like different players for reasons such as:
Looks/Interface
Functions/Ease of use
Options/customization
Audio/sound options/quality/equalizer
However, most audio apps mentioned above are highly recommended and have received excellent reviews.

I also love mixzing. it also have nice collection of widgets that allow to run it directly from desktop. the only thing I wish to add to it is the ability to control it from notification area ( like the stock player)

I use UberMusic. It's a Wp7-like Player. In my opinion it looks very nice, does't lag at all and has some usuable functionalities others haven't got

Gapless music player for android?

I'm using my galaxy for music playing, sq is really good especially with voodoo tweak.
The problem is that whatever player I use, they're not gapless, same for mp3 or flac files, a shame when listening. The Who "Tommy "..
Is there any android foobar?

bump,
Is it so difficult to implement gapless on android, it was supported since iPhone2, if I'm right,
It's a shame cause the Sound Quality is that of an audiophile device,
smb recomended Museek(Jukefox) which implement some virtual gapless by cutting sec between songs, but that's far from true gapless playback,
I tried several audio players on the market but they are merely front players, they dont change much from stock android,
Hi - Poweramp is the only gapless music player that works for me! It's not free but it's worth every penny.
Winamp is gapless on Windows, so maybe it is on Android? I'd check, but I'm messing about with ROMs at the moment
+1 for Poweramp
Voodoo Sound + Poweramp =
+1 to PowerAMP. Winamp is gapless too I believe, like stated before, and it's free. So give it a try first, I'd say..
+1 Poweramp. Worth every cent. Audiovisual engineer here using it for work.

Favourite Music Apps?

What your favorite music Apps for your phone and why?
Personally mine are
1) Solo Guitar - a fun guitar app to play chords etc
2) Ultimate Guitar Tabs - now I can learn/play new songs much easier and have them on the go stored ob my phone
3) Guitar tools - I can tune my guitar with a tuner from this app!
4) Soundhound - I can find any song I want on the go
What are yours?

A couple of months ago I would have said Audio Galaxy, but now I'd say Google Music. With me, it's all about remote access. Google Music wins hands down for having both an Android app and a web interface. Means I have my music collection available anywhere where there's an internet connection. Win.
As for music apps that aren't just mp3 players (as you originally mention in the OP), then Caustic wins every time.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.singlecellsoftware.caustic
Full synth studio with drum machine, pattern making, song making, samples, synths - the works. If you like making music then this app is a MUST, but is a tad small on a phone. Perfect on a tablet.
Tinyshark, Pandora and poweramp

[Q] [REQ] Best music apk?

What is the best ICS music apk?
Ubermusic -- from the developer of LauncherPro
try playerpro or power amp, personally im using player pro, and i wont use stock music player anymore..=D
I'm a big fan of Winamp (pro) but as always, 'best' apps are always down to personal taste.

Really depends what you need from that and how you normally organise your music.
Personally I prefer to have a directory and file-based organisation, as most of the programs I've used until now tend to screw up and misread the albums especially if you've got various artists' albums. I do like listening to music, and rarely I'm shufflin'.
Anyway, recently I've started using MortPlayer Music: maybe it's not the best looking one, but does what I need and doesn't drain the battery too much.
poweramp has it all
Can't live without Google Music.
google music is my favourite, fits perfect to ics roms, and works really stable and looks quite good..
but its annoying that i can't choose ringtones with gmusic -.-
there is also a MIUI v4 music port on the net, looks really good but not stable at all
I really like cubed player.
Thanks for all your replies. I suppose I'll have to try them all out and decide for myself lol!

Music player

Hi!
I wonder which music player to use. I think about Apollo and Google Play Music. In my country (Poland) we don't have Google Play Music service but I love the Google Play Music look. What do you think?

It's the built-in player included in Samsung stock ROMs. As far as I can see from your sig, you are running stock, so check it out, it should be called "Music". Everyone's preferences are different, but for me personally, it's the best option overall (even after trying quite a bunch of more advanced players). The most important feature for me is the ability to work with folders, not just playlists/albums/artists (surprisingly lacking in many other players).
Frankly, I am not familiar with the 4.2.2 version of the Sammy music player, as it might be different from 4.1.x (I played around with 4.2.2, but didn't use it extensively).
Oh, i forgot to say you, that I have Cyanogenmod 10.1 installed. Is it legal to download the apk with stock player and install it?
PowerAMP, good design, lots of functions
PowerAMP or player pro..! Any of the two...! Best according to me...

The walkman on the Z1 is awful, it crashes fairly frequently, skips songs randomly, doesn't show album artwork properly and keeps trying to sign into the Sony network.

Walkman is the best music app I have used. Use the download music info to get all the album art. It has never forced closed on me on my z zl or z1. Try and clear app data. As for links buy the app from google play, you won't find links to pirated software on XDA support the devs.

Not sure why your having so many problems with the Walkman Player. Have you tried clearing the data? I used many of the music players and even purchased a few (like PowerAmp) but for a free included app, Walkman is great. I fix album art with a mp3 editor app. Are you looking for a pirated copy of PowerAMP? Its worth the price.

I used to use Google Music as my primary player but I am in love with the walkman player. I used to use GMusicFS to mount those songs in Walkman but eventually found it easier to just keep my favorite albums on my phone as even with that I had skips in my music. I do keep it installed though in case I want to listen to anything else. At about 18,000 songs so far, I love that service.
