[Q] Screen black after logo galaxy s animation... - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flash my Samsung Galaxy I9000T to gingerbread 2.3.6 and after finish the process my galaxy don't start, the screen keeps black after the animation, vibrate and nothing else..
Someone know how to fix this??
Thanks for you're help.

How did you flashed with odin ? Did it turned into green and blue after finished and saw word 'Passed'? If you didn't then it was not successful do it again. Also remember sometime it could take a long time to complete boot after flashing new rom for first time.

Reflash. If this problem persists, try a different rom.

Was the phone rooted and you used CWM or did u use ODIN?

Galaxy Note stuck at Samsung logo after automatic update..PLEASE HELP..!!

Hi guys,
First of all m a noob here and got here after doing alot opf research on google but have not find any solution yet. I have got a major issue with Galaxy note, never been rooted.
So I have been using ICS on my Galaxy Note for almost a month now, and a week ago, I saw a message telling me that an update had been downloaded and the phone would be rebooted to install the update.
I clicked the OK button in the dialog box, and my phone did reboot but is now stuck at the flashing Samsung logo (after the initial musical animation, which incidentally was terminated midway). The phone got quite hot after about 20 minutes, so I switched it off by pressing the power button. Then I switched it back on after a while, and it was stuck at the flashing Samsung logo. N now its stuck there..
Restart does not work...
Recharging does not work...
Battery swap does not work..
I contacted the service center, they say they will flash the firmware but all the data will be lost and also they are not taking this in WARRNTY.
Can anyone help me with this please.. its been dead for a week now.
sorry for bad english
re:
Also tried POWER OFF+VOL UP+HOME .. a android green logo comes up. but again phones goes to samsung logo and stucks...
however,POWER OFF+VOL DOWN+HOME button gets me to a yello triangle logo and asks if you want to install custom rom...
Please help me guys...!!

where you using the stock kernel itself on ICS?
do the latter..
boot to download mode, then try to flash your phone back to GB using PC ODIN. Once it's in stock GB, work your way up again to ICS. And oh by the way.. sorry to tell you this, but I don't think you can recover back your data after since this process will erase everything on your phone.

Ok, Thanks again John.
i have i more doubt. The stock rom thread says "Install Kies on your computer, connect your phone and make sure that all the drivers installed correctly". i have installed kies but when i connect my phone to it, it gives me Mtb driver bot installed properly error.. would it create a problem?
Yes it would.. try to completely uninstall and reinstall Kies and try later on, to plug your phone again.

To prevent you from being stuck onto the Samsung boot logo, you should wipe cache and wipe data from recovery after flashing the firmware. To do so follow these instructions.
1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Shut down the phone.
3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME UP' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 5 seconds to enter Recovery Mode.
After entering recovery, you should see the options, to wipe cache and wipe data. wipe them. Hope you did a backup as you will use most of you files.

daaam was hoping that would of worked but no unfortunately. ready to throw this thing at the wall.
still having problems updating to any new firmware be it official or custom roms. nothing works, I tried cm11 all went well till the loading screen just cant get past that point. but 4.1.1 works without any problems.
I think you could try to use Triangle away,to reset flash counter and then use KIES recovery to reflash 4.1.1 stock. Then try to update to 4.1.2 or 4.3.

ok I tried what you recommended, but as I thought stuck on Samsung writing blue led light stays on. only one that worked was 4.1.1. I wonder if a modified binary or kernel is causing it. its how I got the phone so I don't no its history.
Well, let's try to flash true Mobile Odin pro a stock Samsung firmware. You need to be root.See if we're lucky.

thanks for trying to help I really appreciate it. as for mobile odin it will have to wait no funds on my card at moment. but I did manage to install a custom rom its 4.3 but I have no network coverage. in about settings unknown baseband.
this is the rom im using.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-amcha-rom-v5-00-simply-customizable-t2619670
perseus kernel stops the phone from not booting. that gives me my baseband. atleast ive got some where with it just need network to work now.
p.s sorry if im not making much sense but its beer drinking time for me. lol
You have to check the IMEI of your phone. If you have lost your IMEI see this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...warning-guide-backup-restore-imei-nv-t1946915
