[Q] Where do APK files go after Market install?

Hi,
I'm wondering if the APK files for Android Market installs are stored locally or are they removed after the install is complete?
Thanks.
1. Wrong section (It's a question and you want an answer, hence Q/A section would be appropriate)
2. I think it goes in /data/app/ as a .tmp file
They go to /data/app as .apk files. They can be explorered and copied from there with Rootexplorer, or backed up via ES Fileexplorer to another location.

[Q] How to install official application?

For example, Memo? I have memo.apk and memo.odex. My phone is rooted. When I place memo.apk and memo.odex in system/apps folder and click on memo.apk and install, my mobile show message Application not installed.
What I am doing wrong?
Thanks.
Anybody please?
Just copy the apk (don't need odex) in system/app and reboot.
Or create an update.zip and install it via CWM.

[Q] how to deodex apk files in mini cm 2.1.9

how to deodex apk files in mini cm 2.1.9?
Why should u do that?
If what u want, is change de app's list installed on MiniCM, just install the rom, download Root Uninstaller app from market and uninstall the apps you don't want.
To add apps to the system, Download a file explorer app that give's you root access and copy them on the system folder
