[Q] Bookmark widget that support resizing and folders - Galaxy Tab 8.9 General

Hi Guys,
I flashed ICS rom alpha 2 recently and ICS has a bookmark widget that support resizing and bookmark folders. I reverted to overcome rom recently as the alpha 2 rom has still some limitation so been looking for something similar to the bookmark widget in ICS. Anyone knows of any app that can do the same thing in honeycomb?

Yep, this is why we need ICS. So many feature lacking in HC that ICS addresses.

Do yourself two favors:
1. Upgrade to one of the stable jelly bean ROMs
2. Run Google Chrome for your browser for speed and synching between all of your devices and PCs.
You will thank yourself.

Also please post in the correct sub-forum when asking questions. Thread moved.
I've just seen your other thread in here which I've deleted. Please don't duplicate threads.
Thanks

Did have an ics Rom did not like the fact it had the back home menu keys on screen at the bottom also hated they keyboard layout and Im not so keen on Google chrome
Hi,
the back/home/multitask bar is easily removable.
If you don't like the ASOP keboard, you can still use the Swype or other keyboards from the Play store.
If you don't like Google chrome, there are a few other options. The default on CM10 is not bad, Firefox, Opera, etc etc.
Porting the new browsers from the S2/S3/Note from ICS to GB will be difficult.
I hope it helps.

Gallery Airview LS2

I was using stock LS2 sometime ago until i upgraded to LS7 and then RR v3 ls7 based. However the ROM lagged a lot for me even after removing many apps from under /system. Memory utilization was more than LS2. I guess due to multiwindow framework. Therefore I decided to go back to LS2 which worked fine for me. Today i installed RR v2 LS2.
I would like to know if there's a way we could port Gallery Airview to the LS2 ROM. Its the only thing i miss from LS7. I tried replacing gallery from LS7 but no airview. Can anybody help with this?
Thanks

*bump again*
I think it's part of the Touchwizz framework which is built into the rom and is closed source so I doubt there's any way to port it to ls2.

Updating to ICS. What are the updates?

I have doing some research on the the ics firmware upgrade on N7000 however when I update it via kies from my Mac, I noticed that my diary which supposed to be part of the premium suit wasn't installed, icons still remains the same as gingerbread, the gallery still the same. Do we need to install separately apps like camera ics, my diary and gallery ics and overwrite the stock ones to enjoy the features?
All these apps or icons, ics wallpapers must be installed separately? As for other updates like new lock screen security, pop up gallery player, etc all updated. What firmware am I right now? Stock ics? Are there any other Offical ics firmware for galaxy note that has the above updates without downloading the apps?
Need some advice please.
I'm currently on version 4.0.4 build number IMM76D.DXLR5.
Opps, Found the diary is actually mini diary. However after the updates the icon and camera remains the same right?
almost the same. but there are some new icons in the JB leak for galaxy note

[Q] New GMail App for Gingerbread?

Hi there,
some days ago, a new version of the GMail App was released for Jelly Bean and ICS. But - as far as I know, a GB Version with less functions is available, too. Is there any chance to get it? I cannot download it from the market.
Thanks,
Xeno
The GMail app are updated to every Android version, but there are obviously differences between the versions because of the different APIs.
You can't get a version of GMail for GB which does everything the JB does.
If the GMail app is not available in your country, google "Market Enabler".

[Q] Missing widgets after ICS Update?

I'm missing nearly all the stock widgets after I updated from GB to ICS last night. The widgets shown on the LG Thrill 4G Update page were missing on my phone.
Is there any way I can install them and get them back onto my phone?
If so where can I find these stock widgets and where would I need to place them?
Or can anyone upload all the stock widgets that came with the ICS Update?
I've searched and searched around but I couldn't find anything related to this, seeing the update came out a few days ago.
You may have got a bad update try to load it again.

I am also missing most of the widgets but I was able to find a suitable replacement with Android pro widgets
If you look at the LG page that talks about the new ICS update it does mention alot of widgets and apps (incl. Facebook) that is no longer on the stock LG rom. you will need to go to Lg's support site where it gives instructions on how to update to ICS.
