Don't work correctly...
The icon don't disappear .. The old frozen Apk can't be unfreeze
it's not a standard usage of the freeze/unfreeze "function"

Oke, than you can go to sysyem app and rename every app that you want to frees by putting a1 after apk. Unfrees you remive the 1. Thats all.

Sorry but find only system apps...where are the others?

Other? Does in data app folder. Does are your downloaded apps.

I know that some are store here, but renamed don't do anything on the active apps..
some are in zip, some in Apk format
I don't think it's the good directory

Btw, do you know a recent ROM which include this feature?

Go to data folxer and there you find data folder again. Is that what you looking for? I am on rocket v17 and i can frees with antek running apps and defrees them. Alwayz reboot after freesing, then all icoons are gone.

Apparently on stock rom there is only Apk data on this folder
Someone know why the unfreeze don't works since the kl7 ?

Hi GALAXY NOTE users!
I'm the developer of APP QUARANTINE. this is a little tool for Root users which allows you to freeze/unfreeze system apps.
I have also heard about the issues with the Galaxy Note and therefore added a little feature which allows to restore all apps which had been frozen before.
Check it out on Android market:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ramdroid.appquarantine
And here's a link to my blog with more information on the issue:

Thanks, it works to unfreeze all Apk. As you discover the reason why we can't unfreeze Apk, could you insert this feature to unfreeze only one by one Apk, in order to do this for all ?
Thanks for this piece of work

[Q] AOSP Gingerbread?

Does anyone happen to know the name of a ROM that is completely clean of Samsung bloat but is as near to stock Gingerbread as you can get?
Maybe you just want to uninstall Samsung's .apk ?
Then try root uninstaller. With precautions.

{Q} flashable zip

Is there a simple way to make a flashable zip to install the TELUS v20i update. Or is there another way to make it works with CWM

Debloat

Hi,
As my brand new Galaxy Tab S2 is my first samsung device, I don't want to do stupid things freezing wrong apps.
So can someone tell me what apps can be frozen with no risk in titanium backup please?
I would like to debloat the device.
Thanks a lot

I've used Package Disabler Pro on mine. Went for it's "disable bloatware" option and then disabled some other stuff while reading up a tutorial about debloating the Tab S 8.4. Hope that helps!
Do you have a link for the tutorial?

I'm sorry for the late reply. Here's the list I used after using the Package Disabler Pro debloat option. The software itself removes freezes most of the apps from the list.
