[Q] Create a rooted KDZ - LG Optimus Black

Hey guys, as the title already implies, is it possible to e.g. extract the files, mod em/add something and then repack it again?
http://www.mylgarena.com/index.php?topic=4456.0
The link above inspired this idea, but I guess that the partition information or anything is missing for our device...

u can extract kdz and u will get a p970.dll and xxx.wdb but cannot extract wdb

How bout this? http://www.mylgcookie.com/index.php/topic,645.0.html

You could customize your phone as you seem fit, and then do a nandroid backup which will save it as a zip file, which others could then flash as a custom rom via clockworkmod
Thank you!

Each ROM files have it's own decryption/extraction algorithm. I've talk to someone XDA member who has able to decrypt LG ROM, it depend on .dll included.
But because he doesn't have P970 so he only give me his program coded with C# and explain the method. That time I'm trying to decrypt LG Marquee's ROM, but no luck. And because it's not compatible with P970, then I quit

You can use LGExtract. It will generate 4 fls files which you have to flash all to have the baseband.
The bin/fls file packages are coming directly from LG, unfortunately their tool to generate them from the kdz hadn't been leaked

Hello
Is it possible to have a 32.2.A.0.305 deodexed?
Thanks.
Hi! I've made a patch for 305 here: https://mega.nz/#!e19EEBLA!3GxaZ_18oD1VycGlBbUda9SXFDmxP_lDeDmF7yaM788
It's the first deodex patch I've made, but everything seems okay. I used customized AU.

What is the method to deodex a ftf if I want to use the Customized NOBA? ioiodeodexer? Is it as complicated as it seems?

I used what was mentioned in the tutorial: SVADeodexerForArt The instructions are confusing, but it's easy.

Well you could google search it but...
- if you have the ftf file of the firmware, simply open it with 7zip, winrar,... and extract System.sin
- now you have a SYSTEM .sin file
- open Flashtool -> tools -> sin editor -> extract data . It will create an ext4 file
- donwload http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/File-Management/ext2explore.shtml and use it to extract the content of the ext4 file
- once you have the system folder with subfolders like framework, apps, priv-apps,... use it in the deodexer application i mentioned above. It will create folders with deodex apks.
Thanks...
I did it this morning but I don't know if all is ok because it said that it did the work only for 64 bits apps...
After if it's ok, how I create the zip file? By replacing the files in the zip in the first page of this topic?
Thanks for your help.

It should have worked fine. I don't know how to create the zip, infact this method allows you to deodex the apks on the pc not on the phone
