Firstly is the tab dead with no battery left and you haven't charged it from a wall socket first. The sgt does not charge via usb to computer, only from a wall powered charger or a 5v-2amp usb charger socket. First charge the device from the wall then wen theres power let us know if theres still anything you need help with
I know it stupid thst it dosen't charge from the computer, thankyou motleys kernel.....

You might wanna edit that bit lol
It's possible the charger port is faulty, it's a common fault on notes, try cleaning it with alcohol and compressed air, also try new charger, sometimes mine says charging (usb) when connected to mains, I use same charger as my gf and hers says same so I believe my charger is at fault.
If the above methods don't help, consider repair under warranty if you have it.

anybody else?
Either ur charger or the usb port has went awry. So youa can check the battery charging it out of the phone. Externally and theb check if its working good.

I can charge Ace only when it's turned off (more inside)

Yesterday i managed to resurrect my Ace after it's been bricked for months using a usb jig. I've installed cm-7-20130608-UNOFFICIAL-cooper and everything is perfect except for the fact that i can only charge it when it's turned off. Then i simply connect the charger, battery icon appears and i can turn on the phone. It will keep chargin. But only if i turn it off first, then plug the charger. If i just plug in the charger while Ace is on, nothing will happen. The same goes with usb connection. It's not a rom issue, because i had the same problem with the old rom. I tested it before i installed the new one. IMO usb port is not damaged, because otherwise it wouldn't charge at all, would it?
Hopefully someone will come with the solution

Why don't you flash a fresh stock? You could test this trouble on it and then you could try it in Cm7 again
Do you have original Samsung charger?

[Q] Droid 4 Will Not Boot in Any Mode

My attempt to root my stock Jelly Bean Droid 4 two night was inadvertently interrupted (cable was accidentally disconnected mid-process) and now I can't get it to do anything. It won't charge or boot into any mode at all.
I ordered a factory adapter from Team Black Hat, which arrived today (California to NY in two days, not bad USPS). I attached the adaptr, plugged it into my phone, and then connected it to my computer using the USB cable that came with the phone. Nothing happened. I left it a few minutes, and then tried the power button and the power + volume to try and get it into recovery mode. Still nothing. I've also tried a few different cables, to the same result.
When I remove the adapter and just plug in the cable, the green LED turns on and stays on, but only when connected to my PC. Plugging into the wall charger does nothing.
Have a missed a step some place or is my phone completely knackered?
Just rooting shouldn't have bricked it, what was the method you were using, file name?

BTW, when I push power+vol up+vol down it appears a message telling "power reset or unknown upload mode". But only with the charger plugged to the wall electric socket. I left the tab connected to the electric socket all night long but nothing happens...
