even their LTE?

what carriers are the Raider able to run on in the USA? only At&t?

You can probably run it on Tmobile but you wouldn't get 3G or 4G or LTE. In other news there are claims about Tmobile customers getting 4G on the Iphone.

unless they are talking about the 4S, and it has support for 1700/2100 bandwidth...not possible....the 3G and the 3GS never worked on 3G (4G is on the same frequencies, its not a different technology )

Actually, t-mobile has began to utilize some 1900mhz spectrum for its HSPA+ network in a lot of areas. It's very hit and miss though. Of my 3 friends that use t-Mobile on their iPhones, only one has seen the 3G indicator on their phone.

since when did TMobile buy 1900mhz spectrum?
they own AWS, and nothing else at this time

Droid Incredible 2 on verizon

So will the Verizon Model work on T-mobile's 3g bc it is $439 $112 less then the Incredible S.
Here are the specs
* Network: CDMA 800/1900MHz + UMTS/HSPA 900/2100MHz + GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz
It will not work on tmous network. 1700/2100 is missing. In fact, Verizon might freeze the at&t network too

Dinc 2 will not work in the US. It has been locked out of both ATT & TMO. European and Asian 3G bands are 900/2100. The Dinc S version works on TMO 4G. I have it. If you are buying make sure you get the version that says AWS on it.
The model S710E is the one that works on T-Mobile 3g network ... keep in mind if youre on tmobile , bell and Verizon version don't work on T-Mobile ..
I hope there would be more phones made like this one that can take advantage of tmobile's tzone/web2go. The only reason Iam considered the IS is because of its AWS band.

Data Speeds problem HTC ViVid

I cam coming to the VIVID from the Atrix and had a couple of issues. I am living in a 4g hdspa area not LTE yet but my speeds with the VIVID were only around 82kb so I talked to ATT and they checked to see if the sim was correct and everything was ok. I then took the sim out the VIVID and put it back in the Atrix I then get over 5mb down. I then go back to ATT and they replace the phone and same issue so they issue a brand new sim and still the same issue. I am going to keep the phone for a couple of weeks to see if something changes but is anybody seeing this issue in non LTE areas. Thanks
I have the skyrocket and getting worse speeds then on other 3g phones I had?

I'm getting about 1.3 Mbs in non LTE... (Portland)
Thanks for the post I checked with ATT and they cannot figure whats causing this problem I am guessing that somehow ATT LTE Phones are getting confused when there is not LTE in the area and somehow slowing the data down. I am not sure but hopefully will get some answers. Thanks
I sometimes get a couple of mb down and then it throttles back to less than a 100 kb this happened on two brand new phones
I was wondering could it be the APN settings are incorrect.
These phones will be either in LTE or HSPA mode and not both at once. If you see the 4G indicator without LTE under it you are on UMTS/HSPA. If you lose the 4G indicator then congratulations, you are on 2G GSM. Also note that when you make a call the mobile will drop down to UMTS/HSPA and your data speeds will be slower until it reselects back to LTE.
And all phones will have the PTA APN...
I just ran a couple times & about 2 meg down & .9 meg up.
I did have to load APN info this morning because I had no mobile connection at all.

Look at your build.prop file in /system what are the hsdpa and hsupa class values? Att screwed the inspire before by lowering the classes, then finally upped them. We may need to update them as well. I think hsdpa of 26 and hsupa of 7 were what the inspire needed to be faster. Mine are 12 and 6 right now. Need root to change though.

Mine are set at 14/6. Wonder if they throttled these phones like they did the inspire and atrix when they first came out. I've been getting 6/7 down and between .8/1.3 up. Not great but not horrible, about the same as my atrix 2 was.

Ok the thing about this phone is that there is no 3g radios in it. You either get LTE, HSPA+ or edge. So if you are in a poor coverage area that uses mainly 3g, dont get this phone. Honestly i dont see the point of this phone if you dont live in one of the LTE cities or very near it. I live in plano and work in richardson and both those area have LTE so i havent had to resort to hspa+ yet. So moral of the story, there is no 3G on this phone...
But anyways here are my speedtest results. the low ones were in the college library with 1 bar so that didnt suprise me.

Are you serious? Is this why I've been having trouble connecting to websites since yesterday? I definitely didnt have 4g signals all the time when I was on the htc inspire. It would often go to 3g, and now if this phone has no 3g then that must explain my issues. At&t really mislead customers. First they release 4g phones and barely had a 4g network. Now they release lte phones, I think you see the pattern.
I may just go to the atrix 2?

Speed on T-Mobile 4G

I am considering getting a note. I know all the pros and cons of the att and international versions. My question was for those who have the unlocked att version, how good is the 4g speed on T-Mobile? I am ditching big red, and will be going with simple mobile which is of course T-Mobile. Just wondering, tia.

AT&T uses LTE, considered the real 4G.
T-Mobile uses HSPA+, some consider it 3.5g since a backbone upgrade isnt exactly deserving of another generation leap. This technology uses their '3g' frequencies.
Since AT&T & T-Mobile 3G frequencies arent compatible with each other and T-Mobile lacks in the LTE department.. the conclusion is:
You'll catch 2g on T-Mobile
I was on T-mobile in Orlando, FL with my Galaxy S, which got decent 3G speeds. When I got my unlocked international Note in November, I put my T-mo SIM into it. It only got 2G speeds, since the int'l Note doesn't have the 1700 band that runs T-mobile's 4G.
But there is hope. Rumor has it that T-mobile will release its own version of the Note on July 11. That's just around the corner.
Their 4G is only a rebranded 3G network that's been slightly overhauled. Max Mbps is 27. Regular 3G is 7.2
LTE is 100

Tmo's HSPA+ network has max speeds of 42mbps with real world d/l speeds of 10-25 mbps with good signal. Not as good as the 30-50 mbps LTE tests I've seen from ATT though

That's what I thought I read elsewhere
what he said above. TMO versions can pick up 3G AWS since most of their network is on that band. ATT doesnt use that band only 1900 for 3G, but since TMO has only started refarming old 2G 1900mhz signal to 3G signal only certain places will recieve 3G signal for TMO on the ATT HTC one.
So far i havent heard of anyone breaking into the radio portions and adjusting the bands. i think people are still a bit sketchy on whether that will work or not. its a pretty big gamble.
your best option is maybe find someone who has the TMO version and wants an international version. and trade?
I have the AT&T One. T-Mobile was sold out and I wanted it the day it was released so I just bought the AT&T One at Best Buy. I have AT&T LTE but I was wanting to use T-Mobile because I have unlimited on that line. I never get 3G though, only HSPA which is weird, or maybe not idk

[Q] AT&T nokia 920 on T-mobile

So without thinking I bought a Nokia Lumia 920 for AT&T off of Ebay.
Now after doing some research I see I may not be able to get 3G/4G.
So I have two things to ask, would flashing another rom on my device help? (I really don't think it will but i'm going to ask to be safe)
Or is there anyway to get 3G/4G working without having to buy a new phone -_-
T-Mobile obtained a bunch of bandwidth that AT&T was going to use, after the failed acquisition attempt. They've used that to roll out network coverage for AT&T's phones, as part of their plan to encourage people to switch. It's not as *extensive* of coverage as T-Mobile's native bands, but it's not terrible. You probably can't get LTE, but you can get 3G and HSPA+ (what TMoUS often calls 4G, especially before they had their own LTE).
I know I get 4G and LTE on T-Mobile using an AT&T 920, but I think LTE only works in certain refarmed areas that use the right frequency. HSPA+ (4G) and 3G appear every once in while and work as well.

sweet thanks for the info.
Yeah, old iPhones used AT&T's frequencies for 3G and T-Mobile uses different frequencies, so you couldn't use 3G. That's not much of a problem anymore, though; even phones that don't support T-Mobile's main bands can use their re-farmed AT&T bandwidth.

T-Mobile refers to it as refarming; that is assuming you have coverage and that's a big if for many of us who are rural and you live in a town big enough to have it then if you're using an AT&T device subsidy unlocked or locked then you will be able to access HSPA+ and I'm not kidding when I say it's fast, faster than both AT&T and Verizon Wireless in Auburn-Opelika, AL and Columbus, GA where I hail from. HSPA+ is not a LTE or 4G technology so it will run on both AT&T and T-Mobile's 1900 band...if AT&T it's HSPA+ everywhere and where T-Mobile has refarmed 1900; it's 3G or 3.5G there too. Otherwise, it's 2G and I can safely tell you it sucks once you've enjoyed HSPA+ and worse T-Mobile has next to no coverage in many places outside most big cities and that's the wrap with T-Mobile.
