Currently I m using HTC sensation .
Now I wants to upgrade I m kinda bored from my sensation....can someone help me should I go for sensation xl or I have to go for EVO 3d ?
Or will keep my sensation ?

Yesterday a saw an sensation xl. iT iS bEAUTIFUl. the evo 3d is not that nice and I hate his 3d screen.
I think you should wait for zeta. Or if you have money that bother you , I think xl is the best choise for now.

Zeta will come after 2-3 months....and I wants an upgrade now ?.
Give me ur personal advice single core CPU AND ADRENO 205 GPU of xl is good to run hd games ?
And phone lags with single core ?

The HTC Sensation XL is so beautiful. The display is so damn clear. I bought it for my girlfriend and tested before i gave it to her . The only bad thing is that the XL has only 1,5GHZ but its a Snapdragon. The Audiobeats headphones are amazing.
The EVO 3D is a piece of sh*t.

So, after much thought I've decided to get the sensation xl on the 3 network here in the uk. Which comes with unlimited data!
Has anybody got any tips for me?.. Recommend apps etc?.
The phone is being delivered to me sometime today!
Download appbrain app, aswell as best apps to keep upto date with what's new. Also blackmart alpha is good.
Search the rooting method on these forums and patiently await custom roms as I am doing. Enjoy your handset!

I'm on 3 too! And I love the unlimited data without a fair usage policy =D
I'd recommend Tubemate. It's a YouTube video downloader for Android. It's not available on the market but they have an official website where you can get it from (beware of fake apps!)
You can download plenty of HD vids that look and sound amazing on this device. I know it isn't the best screen but I still think it is awesome =]

Thank for the info mate.
You would have thought with it being a 4.7 in screen the screen would hav been up there with the original sensation! I can't believe the screen gas been downgraded!
Also the loud speaker quality is a big fail! You would hav thought with being a big phone, you would get big sounds!!
HTC need some lessons in making there phones louder!

Count yaself lucky, i went for the Droid Razr, and to be honest im gutted, i wish id seen this phone before the Razr. The speaker quality is actually really good on the Razr though wanna swap?
I hope your enjoying you're sensation XL for me it has been already the best htc I've owned and battery life is perfect just to think what scripts may do to improve the already great battery life and new roms including ICS is well worth the wait!

I agree totally. I was apprehensive at first seeing as everyone criticized it's apparent "downgrade" from previous HTC devices, but I am more than satisfied. I have yet to find fault with it and even the limited memory capacity doesn't bother me in the slightest

i have a sensation xe just now but not sure if i should get a sensation xl as I do love the physical dimensions and design of the phone,
just a bit annoyed its not dual core,
can anyone convince me?
I'm also into a 4.7" phone, but I advise you to wait for MWC and the day before (next sunday), when HTC will present its new devices, namely HTC One S (4.3") and HTC One X (4.7"). Check this thread for a lot of detailed info on the phones.
I would advise you sticking with the XE until the Endeavour comes out.... As there is many more dev's for the XE... Just my opinion

Hey bro, you really can't boot Windows Phone, not for now, maybe 2 or more years later. Wait for newer WP, because your display sized on qHD res., WP8 doesn't support qHD res..
if THAT was the biggest issue.
Just forget about running WP8 on ANYTHING that it wasn't made for.

As far as i know sky go doesnt support htc sensation xl,only way to watch sky sports is using xmbc on ur device, u can search there is a thread abt it in the xda.

Hi! i am using HTC Sensation XL for more then 2 years and it was good but suddenly it keep restarting and speed is also very slow. I do both Soft and Hard restart but it make no effect on it. My phone is in original form mean its not rooted. What i need to do now ???
Sorry to hear that. If you didn't unlock the BT and root, then service is all that left. Mine is also 2 years old and i am on stock. But never had such troubles.
You sure the phone wasn't got wet or something, coz i think it's kinda hardware prob....
