Download volume+ from market.

Or you can get poweramp and use the eq setting "speakerphone (loud) " gets better results than the two listed imo.

Thanks all...ill give these a try. Thought there may have been a way to alter it permanently in the hardware or something, but nevermind.

Controlling Beats setting

Not sure if this is possible but if it is, I don't exactly know how to go about it. I'd like for beats to turn on only when I'm playing sound through the speakers. Not through headphones or through bluetooth. Only speaker. Whether in a phone call or YouTube. I imagine this could maybe be done through Tasker but I don't know how to go about it. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm pretty sure this is not possible. At least not with the stock rom.
Mmm I figured this would be a tough one. If anyone has any ideas, don't hesitate to share

If you download pimpmyrom from the playstore you can install a beats equalizer. It's very similar to dsp manager.

Other HTC roms in the past have had a toggle in the statusbar. Although I found out recently that sound out of the speakers was actually lower with beats on. It did sound deeper but not as loud and it's a pretty noticeable difference. On the other hand it makes headphones louder as you'd expect. I did install the Wildman kernel do I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I didn't turn beats off until after I flashed the kernel.
its possible with Tasker.

Have you done it or know how? I've been trying but am not familiar enough with tasker to figure how to set this up.

Audio mods

Apart from purex are there any audio mods out there for the one?
After searching on Google and not finding much apart from most raving about the sound quility I was wondering if there was anything.
After coming from a Xperia I'm looking for something that will improve what is already good(I'm missing eq settings)

It won't seem to work if the app you are playing music with has its own stand alone EQ. For instance, Power amp. It should work with Apollo, and Google music player.
Any words from lyapota? We definitely need more music eqs for these speakers

I like PureXaudio, but I think v3 is slightly better than v4. Either work fine on the Sprint HTC One.
Viper audio mod works great. Best audio I've ever heard on any phone or device.

Any app to boost audio (headset) ?

Hello im using the Xperia for quite a while and i tried alot of sound enhancements currently using Noozoxide to kinda boost headset audio but it's no where near the quality of iOS devices.. Any help would be appreciate it.. Btw my Xperia Z is locked boatloader so modding is kinda hard..

Have you triend PureXAudio and Viper4Android, If you know to use them well, you can get a lot of output from your headset.
Boost as in volume boost? (IMHO, the Z provides deafening levels of volume when maxed out).
Or boost as in quality boost? If so, I would recommend trying out Neutron player from the store. It enhances the quality quite a bit, making the Z a well detailed source.

Just click the the last one, reboot and configure the settings for more details click here, There is a lot more that can be done with it, the thread whose link i gave you has all the details.
Bose is not high end, but yeah, it seems you just want louder sound. Don't confuse louder with quality.
viper4droid isnt working..i downloaded it from the googleplay and 2.4.4 version...but still it has no effect...either with walkman or power amp.
Menu/fx compatible mode, mark compatible, reboot.
Also use the one from the thread, the playstore one isn't official.
I take it you're rooted?

In your settings, leave sound enhancement checked, and when you install viper, make sure you check enable.

Is there a mod to make the One speakers louder?

I want to know if there is a mod to make the One speakers louder... I've read of some mods (PureXAudio, CodexSound, V4A) but I didn't understand wich is better and if any of these mods makes the speakers louder... So can anybody suggest me a mod that increases the volume of the speakers? Thanks!
P.S.: If it's useful to help me better, I'm on stock 4.2.2 ROM with ElementalX 3.11 kernel.
P.P.S.: Sorry for my bad English!

No need for a mod, just plug in some headphones
Turn beats off.
The sound isn't as good but it is louder.
@designgears: I want to increase the speakers audio, so I don't need headphones.
@Dee Envy: I've already tried it, but is a very little change.
I want to know if a third-party mod can do that, maybe one of the three mods that I've written in the first post...
