porting alternative homescreen for rooted sony prs-t1? - Nook Touch Themes and Apps

A very cool homescreen/launcher is being developed for the Sony PRS-T1. I can't post links yet, but there's a thread on it in mobileread forums, in the Sony Reader Dev Corner, called "New Homescreen".
The dev expressed interest in making it compatible with the NST, but doesn't have access to one.
I have no dev experience and would have no idea how to do this, but maybe there's someone out there willing to collaborate with him? Looks pretty awesome.

do you mean this one:

TAT UI

Anyone heard something about this???...

Amazing!
Already posted, and locked, for being in the wrong section.
That's pretty cool. I also like their Abstract UI concept on Youtube.
Moved to Offtopic!
I realize this thread isn't directly about a developing apps from these forums, but isn't it worthwhile to introduce new ideas into our developer community?
All it takes for something really cool to be developed here is for one tiny spark of intuition to happen. I'd love to see some of the ideas presented by the above links developed to be used on our devices. How is that off-topic?
I think it comes down to that it's not dev as there is no software as such, as in your not posting software etc "something contributory", when moved it wasn't a Q&A because it was answered, so kinda off topic.. Mind you if you had posted in your phone sub forum software section it would still be there.
So there's alot of questions you have to ask yourself before posting. (i.m.o)
Little Big Planet for Mobile?
Anybody else play Little Big Planet on PS3? The foldout physics UI on the TAT site looks like a port of this game.
it looks cool but I can't help but wonder where is the messaging app sms/email/mms? where is the apps list?
I don't think I would use the video player because core and tcpmp is most likely better.
the contacts list I would use.
the widgets look cool.
um, Devs can we get something like that contact list?
If you look through their blog at their video tech demos, there are quite a few applications that I think would be an instant hit. Like some of the unlocking applications.
how do you get it? Is it only a show off site or is it for sale (or leech)...
i think it's a show off site.

[REQ] Twin curtain style app

I'm assuming I should have placed this request here. Either that, or this isn't as interesting as I think it would be. Please check it out.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487111
Nobody backs this? disagrees? is too busy? I've seen a lot of great work come from this website specificly because a good idea was thought up and a few great minds came together. Although i'm not a programmer, I support this site and respect the developers as well as their work and would really like to see this app created. which is why I started my request on this site. Please leave some feedback on this whether it's positive or negative. Thanks

[LF] Looking for Android themer/graphics designer.

My original post got lost when the forums had to be backed up.
What I'm looking for is very vague, the reason for this is I myself is someone that is learning 'All Android'. I don't mind if you're new to android or theming, all i need is someone that is decent in graphic design and wants to learn new things. Of course, knowing more about android would be a definite plus. Currently I've been creating a team for cross-platform development of Rom's for android devices. We're getting ready to make our first release and are in need of a graphic designer.
If this seems like something you would like, please PM me with you're desire and possibly some work you've done. Although previous work is not a requirement, wouldn't hurt to show us something.

Boot to Gecko - Will we see a Nook port?

Ok, OBVIOUSLY this is highly speculative at this point, as Mozilla only announced that they're going to build Boot to Gecko (B2G) for Mobile on Monday (hence that this is in General Discussion and not Development), but what do you guys think?
We will see a port of this for our beloved Nooks?
Will it be worth having a port for it?
Personally I think the answer to at least the second of those questions will be yes, and hope both will be, but I suppose it remains to be seen.
Doesn't look like they care so much about the OS, the phone was killer though.
I felt it was better to revive a buried thread rather than start a new one...
I am no developer but I would be willing to alpha/beta test something like this for the Nook:

Anyone interested?
