Record audio from bluetooth headset - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey
I have both a mono bt headset and a stereo a2dp one with built in mic. I'd like to record audio using either one. I currently use tapeatalk but it is only picking up the phone mic. I tried using an app called bt Mono but had no luck with it, any suggestions?

I am also interested in this as I want to use a headset for note-to-self tasks.
Is there a possibility to use the headset micro as audio source?
Thanks!

Another bluetooth issue Tytn II and BT8040

I am using Tytn II with Jabra BT8040. I was facing very tricky issue and that was whenever BT headset is connected to the phone, sound profiles on the phone kept on changing.
I have now established that this happens only when I have used both Wireless stereo and Handsfree profiles from my BT headt set. If I only use handsfree problem disappears.
Can some one help to understand whay this may be happening? how to resolve?
The 8040 is A2DP enabled. Basically, a mono stereo headset if that makes sense. Since it can stream music to the BT without using the BT Toggle app. Anyway...its because of your headset. Change it to default using Handsfree..not both.

I know what A2DP is and I guess Tytn II supports A2DP and hence the quesry in the first place. I bought BT8040 because TyTn II supports A2DP

[Q] 3.5mm audio output while using AVRCP Control

Hi people,
Does anyone know if there is an app/hack I can use so that when I pair up my Jabra BT3030 Dog tag unit to my i9000, audio is still sent through the 3.5mm stereo jack instead of via Bluetooth audio?
The reason being is that the audio quality loss does my head in when I'm playing music off my phone via bluetooth in my car. I would prefer to control the tracks with AVRCP on remote while audio is still outputted through 3.5mm.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
Hey, I spent a while to get this to work on my I9000 but then I found it works by default like this on the Galaxy SIII so that may give you something to investigate.
I had the idea to Disable the Sink service in the audio.conf file but as it works for me now I haven't investigated it.

for that you need a2dp profile, which is possible in stereo bt headsets
I am using a Plantronics Voyager Pro bluetooth headset along with my Mi 410. I can also listen to songs via A2DP on it.

Plantronics ML10
Plantronics ML10 works pretty neat,
- No Stereo or Music but Hands Free call is crystal clear,
- Connects to phone immediately.
- Very small and Light Weight,
- The in ear piece fits ear very well...
- Microusb charger, no need to carry separate charger.
- Runs almost a week with 1 full charge (I use it only while driving 50 kms daily to & fro for office in my Car in Pune)
And it was available for a 850 Rupees only on Letsbuy...

Suggestions for a wireless microphone for video recording

I'm interested in using my phone as a camcorder to record my video blogs. I haven't been able to find any information on
A. Changing the microphone settings for video recording
B. Wireless microphones that work with our phone's
Thanks in advance for any info you may have.

I'm guessing that there's no solution for this.
I've considered using my blue tooth headset as the microphone receiver because this feature is available in Easy VoiceRecorder Pro but I don't see any setting adjustments in the video recording setup.

Απ: Suggestions for a wireless microphone for video recording
I have built this adapter http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36038426 for using an external mic. Can't use it yet cause I lack the mic
Also you can look for fm wireless transmitters in evilBay. They sell really cheap and can record from very far.
Answered my own question
I was able to record sound from my Plantronics blue tooth headset. I'm not happy with the sound quality but I am happy that it works. Now I need look into purchasing a bluetooth microphone. Any suggestions??
Terribly sorry for wasting a thread. Hopefully this will answer someone else's questions about this feature.
Απ: Suggestions for a wireless microphone for video recording
Trying to record from my bt hands free with easy voice recorder the app informs me that the max audio quality that a bt device can record is limited to 8khz which explains your disappointment. So the bt solution is not an option.
My first question is whether the built in camera can use a bt external mic?
or is there an app that would?
also, Im using the samsung hs3000 for my external headset and the device has a built in mic which i thought would make it a great bt lapel mic...
i'll have to break it out and see if it works (or look for a camera app that enables the use of an external mic)
I was able to use my bluetooth headset with the camera app but not with my voice recorder app. The voice recorder app gives very poor sound quality when using the Bluetooth headset.
