I would like to add for those that like my toolkit, PLEASE DO NOT POST IT ELSEWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!
I have seen multiple sites who copy and paste my work to their site! If I do not approve of it, then do not do it! it will discourage me from adding updates since it is being used for their own benefits!
tl;dr.
If you post my work without permission, don't expect updates!
I created an easy to use GUI program for the HTC Amaze and I decided to make one for the HTC Vivid. I spent a good over 10+ hours to learn how to script, watch videos on how to do it, working on it during school when I should have been listening lol and all that fun stuff. I am going to fix it and up and add more updates to it. You CAN place requests and I will try to fulfill it!

- Install HTC Drivers
- Enter Bootloader (after it enters into bootloader, press the power button to enter Fastboot) REMOVED. No longer necessary.
- Get Token ID. Register at HTCDev, login to the site and submit the Token ID here. Buttons have been replaced and include links.
- Unlock Bootloader (Must place Unlock_code.bin in the folder)

Bugs
- Directory has to have one word.
Ex:
Will Work. This will solve any issues if the buttons don't work when you press them.

Will NOT work. Your directory will look something like this and buttons won't work when you press it.

If you have 2 words, put the folder in Drive C:

Q - Why Did you make this?
A - To make life easier
Q - You are limited on features. Why?
A- You can always make a request!
Q - Will this work on other devices?
A - Only the fastboot commands, HTC Dev unlock (device specific) and the HTC drivers. Toolkit is made for the specific device.

A - If people REALLY want, I can make it happen. I just don't want to make anything that nobody would use.

ok, I have one for you...splash screen flashing (White HTC Screen)....
This guide is for HTC sensation, but the manual process is takes from the HTC HD2, so I assume that thye splash is in the same location in the Vivid!
there is nothing to do it automatically as yet, but it is not hard! (if you can do what you have done so far, that would be a 10 minute job!)

Yes, I'm pretty sure we will get it. There's an user of this forum that somehow got his Vivid with S-Off directly from HTC and some devs are seeing if we can get S-OFF off that.

This is a script I made for making your time with your device as easy and pain-free as i can. I will add scripts on request! This is a Windows/PC batch script using command prompt/ADB. This was created on Windows 7 but will work in Windows XP or higher. My GitHub is in my signature and profile. 3.4 is planned for a major update that should work on most devices. In files folder there are no recoveries for XL. Does that mean we have to add it in manual? Clockword mods 3x and 4x are there but none will work properly on xl.

Ok I know how to flash it but for those that struggle. Also add the Chinese boot.img needed for 1st time flashers to make things easier.

I really have high expectations for this tool as it would simplify things for new users. I haven't tried it myself but hopefully others that do can let us know how it worked

cannot see main menu, there are only 4 options then 3 is for to update the tool only...

You can extract the stock recovery from of the ruus just extract the rom.zip and its inside there.

I have a problem, when I try to Get Token Id my phone sticks at the phone logo with a triangle and a exclamation mark and the cmd windows is stuck at something about waiting for device to respond and this is the only line.

it needs to be in Fastboot mode --> accessible by holding the vol up button and pressing / holding power to grab your token ID ,
Yes and the .bin file must be in your toolkit folder same thing should be done for the .img file.

Lol well I sell sprint for a living and am aware of the swiss cheesesque lte coverage. Though the Atlanta/Athens market is almost at 100% build out. I got lte here with my galaxy nexus, galaxy s3, and optimus G

Download the Rom from Download Center Link
Place the Rom in your PC desktop
Take out the Boot.img and place it in your "fastboot folader"
Now place the Rom in your SDCard

I believe it is because of not being s-off, I remember this from the evo lte but I was s-off so never needed to do it.
Viper rom isn't like that because it's the way he has it setup when flashing, but I could be wrong.

Sorry if i did a bad instructions installation.
I have a hox, i m not s off... So I never flashed a rom like soff way... If u can install the rom without flashing the boot.img, just do it and report back, so, if you succeed, i will add two versions.
Also let me know if all sprint devices are soff.

Using a tweak...its initial release, so my first goal is to find a good battery life and good perfomance... as i dont have the phone, i will be updating the ROM acorrding to feedback. Thats why also there is no mod, i like to go slow but steady. Sometimes we add all together, then it is a pain to set down the ROM.
In my sign you can see my work.
If someone want to join my team, will be a great help, also Rom will improve faster

I ve got a Pm that Rom is not booting, so please, give me time to fix updater script. As you may know, its normal to face kitchen bugs when playing with a new device, but nothing to worry.
Once i fix the bug will state in Op.

Delete original one and put new one.
then flash the rom as usually, dont forget to make a nandroid backup first.
Also FULL WIPE

I created an easy to use GUI program for the HTC Amaze and I decided to make one for the HTC One M8. I spent a good over 10+ hours to learn how to script, watch videos on how to do it, working on it during school when I should have been listening lol and all that fun stuff. Using intl version; "perm root" does nothing but reset to my custom recovery (twrp)~
Also, your links don't seem to open when Chrome is default browser.

Perm root command pushes supersu.zip to your phone and then reboots into recovery so you can flash it.
Odd. I never had a complaint with links with chrome. It works on my end

Using it on my newly acquired M8 just now. Works great! But for every command I get 1 command window that always says device not found. But the operation for whatever option I clicked on still works fine. Strange.

hello, i keep getting the device not found error in adb. i have usb debugging enabled and have tried uninstalling and installing the drivers many times already. please help!
