Made me think that it was a new rom called "The Best Rom"

You've been a member 4 years and put this here? I usually don't flame but damn. :banghead:

?? You never tried another rom, but already flashed 200 ??
The best rom is the rom that best suits YOUR needs, so nobody could really help you.
Do a backup and try for yourself.

Damn....close this thread already. You ain't suppose to be asking newbie questions like which ROM is best in the development forum.

So you make thread for opinion? If you flashd 200 roms, then We should ask you what is best rom. Com on! Just read the posts in different rom threads. How can you tell what is best rom with only two ore three posts than are stupid to even answer to this thread. I think i am going to make a thread to find out what the most weird thread here in development is. Lol

guys whats wrong ?
for note i have not tried one but i have used a lot of other androids, s2 and all and have done in around flashes there, and why is is a problem for a thread i mean no offence to any

Okay... best Rom is Check Rom.... Did this now really help you?

You put a question in the dev section. Just pm a mod and ask him to move it for you to q&a.

Use Darky Rom. Overclocking to 1.704 but be careful there. I overclock to 1.600. Otherwise Darky 3.1 has a nice ICS theme. Really smooth and battery life way better. Don't forget to backup first.

Maybe this thread can make a usefull thing.
A thing that i've seen on the dev thread of my older phone : a topic with
all tutos for rooting,
all roms,
all kernels
etc ...
Maybe this could be usefull?

the most useful thing you could do with this thread is CLOSE IT!

Which Rom would you prefer and why?

the title says it all.
Actually... I disagree with you. There could be a best rom for the op should he/she not want to flash unofficial firmware.
For example... I am on JL2 Bell firmware and as such I am using SEEARMS custom JL2 ROM.
OP... what is ur firmware version?
PS... u have posted in the wrong thread but I'm sure the nice moderator will move it for you.
All others... if u can't be helpful then don't reply with negativity as all it does is discourage people from posting and learning...

asad, I'm afraid your question is much too vague to produce any useful results here. The term "best" is far too subjective...if you want opinions on which ROM's perform better than others in certain categories, then please specify which are important to you. Your question above is like going to the manager in a grocery store and asking "which food here is best?"
Or, for another perspective on it, see my signature

The best rom is always someone else's rom.
Why? Because we are always not satisfied with our own rom....
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Thats a very personal choice, for me there is no such thing as the best rom, there is the rom that best suits you, its much like the war SGS x Iphone 4, in the very end its a personal taste kind of choice.
I'm very satisfied with darky's rom 9.0.2 (downloading now the new 9.1)

The safest way is:
Download a stock GB Rom and flash it via pc Odin following the instruction on Mr Ketan's Thread.
Root it using the same guide.
Go into Recovery
Flash Paranoid Rom
Flash new Gapps
Full wipe (recommended)
You are ready!
The DANGEROUS way:
Go into Recovery
Flash Abyss Kernel 4.2 (red pill)
Reboot into RECOVERY not system (option found in recovery-->advanced)
Flash Paranoid
Flash new Gapps
Full wipe (recommended)
You are ready!
P.S.
The second method may BRICK your device, so choose carefuly mate!
Hope that helps!
Can i do this thru mobile odin

Does the tutorial posted above applies to all the ROMs out there or is it diffirent for each ROM??
i think it will help everybody and also help me learning more about android

If you don't know that already, then refrain from putting up tutorials just as yet. It would surely help people, but then you run the risk of misguiding them (or not being able to answer questions) since you don't seem to have a good grasp of the subject. Get some more game time and help yourself to knowing all the stuff, and you will get there.
But if you feel you know enough, go ahead and try.

Is great that there are people like you here, wanting to help out others.
I totally support your way of thinking but there is a major issue.
Every Rom has specific instruction created by the Dev. I'm thinking that the idea of creating a new thread just for instruction maybe it's over the actual needs of the users. IMO it's equally important if you reply to all the question made by new users here on Q & A Section. You can guide them to the correct direction keeping them safe from easy to make mistakes.
Please let me know what you decide and I will be there for more information and help bro!
Nice meeting you, regards!

well its true that I am uncertain of the requirements of flashing as of now thus I think it is not a good idea to post anything before learning it properly.
I will learn more about flashing and then will definitely put up a thread here at XDA
thank you very much
and yes the idea was not to just post tutorials for each ROM it was to post a guide on "how to flash successfully from one ROM to another" but again I am unsure of the proper steps myself. I think I will select a few ROMs and do a research by following those threads and then post anything related to them.
clicked thanks for both of you
@tyson - After posting that I thought it could come off a little too harsh. Nice to see you taking it constructively as intended, top lad!

[Q] Which is the best custom ROM ?

Hi to all, i'm newbie and today it's arrived my new Xperia T...
I've a question... which is, at the moment, the best ROM for this phone ?
Not necessary the best, but one that work correctly and work better than a original ...
Thank you =D
Thats for you to decide. the point about custom roms are that different people like different ones, they are "Customisable" to the individual taste.
So you question id like asking "what is better Pizza or Kebab?" different people will give you different answers and everyone will be right.
Also, these kind of threads normally degenerate into flaming anyway so its not worth asking, .
My suggestion, just try one for a week, then another then another, and choose the one you like best
I love your quickly answer and i thank you so much, but my is not a question to create a flame... it's only a personal curiosity because i've seen about 20 different ROM for this phone... for example, for my old Galaxy S Plus, one of the best was Gigabread Plus Final...
I wanna only now one name of one rom that work good and optimize the mobile phone =D
Stock Sony.

advice for the best ROM for xperia x8

There are plenty of ROM for xperia x8, also dating back many years ago. I wanted to get some advice on a ROM for xperia x8 with locked bootloader, which is light, fast, stable and above all without bug still lag for daily use, possibly gingerbread 2.3+. Thanks for the answers.
Why don't you try some and decide by yourself?
There is no such thing as "best rom", it depends on your likings and needs.
In every rom thread you will find a list with the features and bugs, you can also read the thread for comments from the users.

I know, but I wanted some advice for a ROM for everyday use and read without bugs. are not very practical and I do not have time to try them all, that's why I would like some advice from those who have already tried the ROM on xperia x8.

Stock rom doesn't have any wifi bug, something else is your problem. It isn't that laggy considering the device's hardware. This is what you bought.
Custom roms are way better but for your good you need to find some time.

Nope, that is my point. You need to give that time to explore them yourself.
All you want is out there, you don't need me to help you chose. If you are not willing to find them then maybe you don't really need them.
Btw, I have the impression that you know nothing about how making modifications to your device work. If you did then you wouldn't ask people to tell you what to do but you would do your research.
I'm not asking for the moon, then I ask what ROM you've tried and what are their best with locked bootloader
