[Q] Cornerstone for Galaxy Note - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there Something like cornerstone for a Galaxy Note Rom?

Cornerstone will be integrated in CynogenMod ROM which will soon be available for the Galaxy Note. In fact an alpha version is already available.

Awesome! Would love to see three screens on my note. Do you have link to the alfa version?

Check this link - it's really only an experimental build and i'm not sure this is really usable... but if you're interested, check the thread:

You're being premature mate... the Note 2 hasn't come at all...
If you wait for Samsung to release it, then it will be right before or after the next android os is released BUT if you're a fan of cyanogenmod, the devs over there are currently working on a cm10 jellybean release. You just have to be patient and give these devs the time they need to produce a working rom for the galaxy note.

Did you release Galaxy note 2 ????? or did you go to samsung board of directors meet to decide samsung galaxy note "CAME " WITH aNDROID 4.0.4? Post only after you confirm or know something legit else dont
To answer OPs question, Jelly Bean will be released tomorow.. It is confirmed! But unfortunately we´ll wake up and realize that it was all a dream and will have to wait 6 months for Samsung to announce that they release in 6 months.. So Jelly Bean from Samsung will be released summer 2013.. I can see the future..
Come on my friend. Don't be so Pessimistic.
What huge difference will it make? Lol not alot at all. ppl will still be flashing roms and all that. everytime theirs a update ive done it and im like hmmm i hardly notice anything. I will be dammed also to buy another new device with tiny added specs and updated software.

Samsung is said to be trying to port the Galaxy S III to Jelly Bean right now and if deemed successful, that will be the time when they decide whether they will the update to the Galaxy S II as well. If these plans push through, then there will already be four Samsung flagship devices which will all be running Android 4.1. As for other Samsung devices, well, it seems that Samsung will also update its other “higher”end devices including the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab. So, it seems that sticking with your current Samsung device is worth doing still and Samsung is not just going to abandon update support for them. Good to know.
Cm10 PREVIEW just released with all working but sensors, I guess as drivers haven't been added yet. Check original rom development.

Porting from Samsung Galaxy S

Can't we port our ROMs from Samsung Galaxy S l900..
As it almost have the same hardware...
When i was buying mi410 at store, i rejected Galaxy S for not having flash and price.
If someone can try as they are nowadays running 4.2.2... with almost everything working..
Here's the link Samsung Galaxy S l900
thank you..
We should first have a working kernel for 4.2 JellyBean before porting anything.

[Q] Cyanogenmod for Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE (P7320)

Hey Guys,
I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE (P7320). I really like it but I am not satisfied with the latest firmware version that Samsung provides (Android 4.0.4).
So my question is there any chance to get Cyanogenmod for the this tablet?
I would be very thankful. Please help me.
Thank You

Yes, it appears true....When I bought my Galaxy 8.9 Tab, I liked the size...bigger than the 7 in but easier to handle than the 10...
But I've had problems with several programs that don't format or size correctly...and it may be that it's an orphan abandoned by many out there..

Galaxy Tab S CM12 Nightly? Use Picassowifi?

I'm not seeing nightlys for CM12 on download.cyanogenmod.org . Can a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 user use the nightlys for picassowifi (which is the pro 10.5 as opposed to the S model)?

Cheers
I think the pro has a different processor so probably no.
There is an unofficial build by nvertigo67. Look in tab S development sub forum.

None of the tab s devices has official builds yet. I have made the request for the SM-T700 but I was told to expect a wait of three weeks before they begin the review.
Picassowifi while similar in hardware the image wont install due to several differences. While you could hack it with a sm-t800 kernel/custom boot.img and modifying the install script. I wouldn't recommend it. The unofficials are going to be your best bet at the moment.
