Miui 2.2.24 for Xperia Arc is an rom based on lastest CM Team work. All works like on the last FreeXperia build. All credits go to them for soruce that I have compiled(it would take ages to download all the builds). The MIUI features work 100%.

GSM
VIDEO DECODER
3D
USB STORAGE
CAMERA
NOT WORKING
GSM DATA – buggy – for some networks works for some does not work
Miui ICS is still a beta, MIUI developers are making things more compatible all the time.
If you know how to resolve some of the issues mail me and I will add fix to next ver

REUPLOADS NOT ALLOWED

I see there another MIUI ICS build... I make it for all xperias at once so developers can join. All the devices get the fixes at once and build process is automated

First Blood!

That's just a single line to enable a disabled feature.

I installed via Recovery but the phone wouldn't boot..
I saw the Doomskernel was booting (the previous I had)
Pulled of the battery, extracted boot.img from your zip and installed it via fastboot
The phone still won't boot...
Did I do something wrong?

Thank you so much for your work. But i should tell that. Your website is so slow. I have to reload the same page several times to be able to see it. Also it was really hard for me to find original download page and link for the rom.And if you want more testers at least you can use screenshots on first message too.
I wish this project would go on Thanks again.

So, as you see, I extracted the kernel which was inside the zip and flashed it using fastboot.. How is it possible that I haven't used it????

One more question. Now i'm considering to update to ICS, But i'm Using MIUI GB. If i backup all apps and data with Backup apps on MIUI GB, so can i restore it when i flashed this?

pls fix the data in feuture .. i realy nid it ..cause i dont use wifi on home but data

The provided kernel just wont boot. I flashed it twice through fastboot, everything went fine and when I reboot the phone, the screen just stays black for hours. Someone here had the same problem, I'm afraid that maybe the download it's just too slow and unstable (took 2 hours to download) making some files corrupt while downloading. I'm just guessing can someone help? This ROM looks so awesome.

Perhaps it need a different baseband..? I tried .64 and .56 already and the screen keeps staying in black.

Hello everyone!
This is the port of JoyOS ROM, an iOS clone ROM by some Chinese developers. This ROM is based on CM7.2 latest nightly build.
Features:-
iOS User Interface
and the rest of CM7.2 features like rotation animation, smooth UI, CyanogenMod settings etc etc...
Working:-
Whatever works on CM7.2
Not Working:-
Whatever doesn't work on CM7.2
Bugs found so far:-
I don't care
Installation Steps:-
Extract the boot.img from the zip file
Flash the kernel via fastboot
Go to the recovery and wipe everything
Flash the downloaded zip file
Reboot
Wait eagerly for successful boot!
Credits:-
- for the porting guide.
FreeXperia team for being the CM Maintainer for our device
ramezzidane for suggestions
And, Special Thanks goes to ZduneX25 for his NeoV port.
Also, MTS for providing uninterrupted internet connectivity.
Note: Don't expect any update for this ROM, though I may add few tweaks or stuffs later. Don't blame me if this thing turns your phone into a mere paperweight or some random crazy stuff happens to your phone. [/CENTER]

Which baseband? With baseband 70 it's bootlooping
edit never mind, it was because i flashed the kernel wrong. It's working with baseband 70
When I want to download Titanium Backup. It says: your device isn't compatible with this version. Can I fix this?

Battery life is same as CM7.
And about the icons, I'll give it a try..
Thanks! I've seen other screenshots about JoyOS on other phones and they have the same icons of the iOS, that's why I asked xD
Do you confirm Camcorder not working btw? Anything else not working?
Even it was a very fast and smooth ROM, battery still too bad, with Airplane mode ON, Wifi, BT OFF and brightness minimum, my Arc last just 20 hours, it was 4 days with original Sony GB 2.3.4 and about 3 days with original Sony ICS 4.0.4.
Camcorder is not working with High Definition, it works with Low Definition. And too bad some application (like Tweetdeck) do not work on this ROM.

Hello,
Sounds like you could have had a bad flash or the possibility you weren't running version 6a.
Hopefully you made a nandroid backup before you flashed and you can restore that and try flashing the mod again.
This is the first reported fail after about 200 downloads of this modification.
Good luck, report back.

Screenshot can still be easily achieved just using the standard Power & Volume Down option. I know many devs throw in that screenshot mod to the reboot menu but to be it seems a little pointless. I will look into seeing what I can do, no promises..

I can confirm this works for nexus s! But after rebooting the haptic feedback for the touch buttons are really weak!
But what's weird is that I keep having to reinstall the xda app after every reboot, is the mod the cause of this?

I don't see why this mod would have anything to do with causing the XDA app to not stick.

Yep should work on the Nexus S after redoing the updater script. Haptic feedback was not affected or changed for this so it really should not be affecting it. In no way was files for haptic feedback even touched.

It's just a problem that some people have when music stops playing while browsing, I've opened up a thread here as a way to eliminate what could be causing the problem. I'm not alone for sure as this is also posted on the Sony support forums:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/62858?start=0&tstart=0
I'll even make a video and show how this happens

Overview
This is another Chinese firmware called 'Color OS' and generally ships on Oppo devices. It is not a "slight mod" but is more of a complete ROM similar to MIUI / Lewa and it has it's own unique feel.
Bugs
almost no
Instructions for Use
1. Download the ROM.
2. Copy the file to your internal or external SD Card
3. Reboot into recovery and perform a nandroid backup (or your backup of choice)
4. In recovery, wipe data (perform a full wipe)
5. Browse to where you saved the files and Install the ROM
6. Reboot your phone & enjoy it!
