No Bluetooth after update/unlock Omnia 7 - Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 Development

Hi everybody
I'm Italian and I bought the Omnia 7 on the Internet, getting a phone with a (French) SFR firmware.
After several update (pre-nodo, Nodo, Mango) the Bluetooth never worked, so I sent it to the Warranty Support. They gave it back to me after 1 months, saying they updated the firmware.
The phone actually worked flewlessy.
But when i unlocked it using "the window break project" the BT stopped working again (#!#!#!).
I tried to reflesh it using all the roms avalaible on the internet. I also tried Magldr+DFT Omnia 7 ROM but.. no way to get it work.
I ask you guys if you have an idea on what the Support meant saying "firmware upgrade". Is a radio firmware problem?
Thanks in advance

for me BT also not working , I also tried everything.
1 all Modem firmwares where I could get my hands on.
2 all eboots where I could get my hands on ( also the magldr)
3 all firmwares from 7004 till build 8107
nothing is working and BT still broken.
I will sent my sammy RMA next week.

Do you have a SFR phone too?
I think RMA have firmware not available to the users

Omnia 7 bluetooth firmware is broken. Samsung has the firmware but it's not available for us to upgrade manually. Even my bluetooth on my omnia 7 is broken & has never worked (When I purchased it, I had T-Mobile rom, I didn't try it then, later I flashed it with an unbranded ROM, it never worked after that)
Anyways, I've heard that the Tango update may resolve the Bluetooth issue. I've got my fingers crossed.
Edit : Can you guys tell me your Bluetooth H/W & S/W version? (in diagnosis type *#1234#) Mine is 0.0.1 for both.

mine is 0.0.1 and it has always worked, have flashed my phone several times only did not work when I had flashed the SFR update for Mango stopped working but my wifi was acting up also so restored back to my German DTelekom firmware and all was well again. Have flashed with DFT still worked, later flashed with mi7rom still worked flashed then to rom by Ceesheim it still worked and just today flashed back to mi7rom and it still works. I use my bluetooth alot with my car so maybe have been lucky.

@ceesheim
Using your rom (v1.79)(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1533229&page=2) made my Omnia 7 searchable and pairable with other devices. The Omnia 7 can't find any device by itself though.
The weird thing is that this happened with mod csc. it didnt work with stock csc.
Now I'm downloading the v.2 version to see what happens.
Firmware version 2424.11.9.4
Radio version 2424.11.9.1
EDIT:
BT won't work with v2.
And I can't get it work even goin back to the previous version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm ****ing bored

Anyone pls?

I am also in your same situation.
I am Italian and I have a phone of H3G
The bluetooth at the beginning working, and then stopped working.
I've already sent for repair two times, and they say it is ok.
When comes back it works, but after a few call stops working.
I also tried tango.

I had an issue after unlocking my Omnia 7 and installing a Tango build where the Bluetooth screen stayed on "Searching" and didn't find my car bluetooth system.
I changed "Bluetooth A2DP Bitpool" in Advanced Configuration tool from 30 to 300 and this has enabled me to connect to my car bluetooth now.
Edit: from what I am reading Bitpool of 300 is too high so I'll need to play around with this setting to get the best quality.

Did you try to change the "Bluetooth A2DP Bitpool" from 30 to 300 with Mango and Nodo too?

No - but I never had a problem bonding to my car stereo prior to Tango
Call quality is still appalling though - as it always has been. Worked well briefly after the Mango upgrade but apart from that it's always been bad - no mater what the bitpool setting is.

Bluetooth dead?

I have tried to search thru previous posts for info relating to my problem, but I haven't found anything....
I have the Tilt. I was using the bluetooth on a call, got of call, and turned off the bluetooth headset. About an hour or so later I attempted to turn the bluetooth headset on to talk but it wasn't responding. Bluetooth was enabled on my phone and the blue light was flashing but the headset couldn't connect.
I went into the Bluetooth settings and I saw my headset listed, but "Hands Free" wasn't there. I thought this was some sort of fluke, so I removed the connection and attempted to re-pair the device.
The phone can't seem to see ANY headset. I tried connecting my headset to another phone and it worked just fine.
I haven't installed any extra apps. The only thing that I have is Kaiser Tweaks - and I run that from my storage card.
I tried hard reset (a couple of times) with and without bloatware, but nothing is working. I get the, "Problem with Hardware" message or one saying that No devices were found.
Here is the info on my phone:
ROM Version: 1.62.502.0
ROM Date: 01/17/08
Radio Version: 1.27.14.09
Protocol version: 22.45.88.07H
Any ideas on what the problem may be? Suggestions??

Nothing worked for me.
I am going to get another one through warranty exchange. Luckily, there is an AT&T Device Support Center in my area. I can just walk in with my device and they will give me another one. Unfortunately, they won't have any Tilts until Monday. The rep there said that people have been coming in to replace Tilts like crazy.
Firstly, people come in to replace tilt like crazy because of ID10T errors. Get it. I have customers call in wanting a new phone because their phone is not working with the internet, vice versa. Most of these problems can be fixed. You could try flashing another radio. I'm pretty sure their is a fix for it. If you want to get a new TILT all power to ya at least it'll be brand new and clean from drops etc. Hopefully.
Flash a ROM on your phone and a radio. See if that helps. You could always flash back to factory ROM.

Well, thank you for your ENCOURAGING post! I am glad there are helpful people like you around to give such helpful advice. I have flashed a new radio and factory ROM. Nothing works....GET IT??

Wifi problems

Alright, this is my first post and I just recently got a Touch Diamond (my first 'smart' phone)...
I'm running into a problem that seems multiple people have been reporting - and that is Wi-Fi. Since the model that I got already came with the latest ROM installed (the one released mid July), I don't have anything to compare it to.
What's happening is that sometimes the phone will recognize my wifi connections, sometimes it won't. Even when I am able to successfully connect, it is only for a brief moment and then disconnects. Since I'm with T-Mobile and do not have a data plan, my main way of communicating will be through Wi-Fi. I'd REALLY like to know if there's anyone out there that might have any ideas...
I also tried updating the phone with the latest cooked SwiftBL ROM to see if maybe one of the modifications could fix it, but I still see the same problem. It's not my wifi because I've tried several other (non-secure) wireless connections and see the exact same problem with all of them. I saw on this forum who suggested to change the power settings of the Wi-Fi device, but that did nothing .
I'm at a loss....could it be a bug with the latest official ROM release?

[Q] bell galaxy s UGJG9 vs. UGJH2 differences

Hey guys, my samsung galaxy s has the UGJG9 firmware installed. was just wondering what the difference is between that and the latest one?
New JH2 + SPL fix

Apparently they released the JH2 again but including a SPL fix, so people already on JH2 will need to flash back to JG8 or something, then flash forward to JH2 again to get the new SPL fix
I got JH2 the other day. Yesterday my phone was going retarded, freezing and losing signal when it never had before. Seemed ok last night and today though I haven't spent much time with it today.
GPS was totally out of whack last night, sitting still and my location was jumping all over the place. Google navigation is unusable. Checked compass in GPS essentials and it was fine but in nav it just spins around and can't get it right.
Youtube widget changed. Now shows most viewed on the main bar but video and search buttons are not functioning properly. Right now it only shows the search button. If I search or launch youtube then go back the video button will be there but neither thet nor the search button will work. Wish I had just left it alone.
did you get the update with the spl fix?
and was your 3 button mode working for you before?
if not does it work with the new update?
lol so many questions... and thanks for the replies and the update on the firmware.
Just update dude. Everyone is experiencing various issues regardless of the firmware. I run 3 to 4 times a week using endomondo and the GPS tracks my route almost flawlessly. A few hitches here and there but nothing horrible.
My 3 button combo wasn't working at all and I was already on JH2. Had to do the registry trick to get Kies to flash the new JH2 on my phone and now it works. Upgrading to the new JH2 is the best choice to make, especially if you have plans on using a few mods.
I highly recommend the battery mod available on this forum after you upgrade. The SGS stock battery indicator is horrible and inaccurate, and I rather not waste my homescreen space on a battery widget.
Ya, did the update a few days ago. Three buttons work now and my gps doesnt think im in japan anymore (ya it was that bad) anyway definitely worth the update.
Sent from my GT-I9000M using XDA App
My 3 button mode worked before the update, I haven't tried it since. I haven't rooted and not sure yet if I will, will see how official 2.2 goes first.
Still losing signal though. Yesterday the girlfriend tried to call me and said she either got a busy signal (WTF) or it just went straight to voicemail.
Today I tried to make a call and had to redial two or three times because it kept losing signal. Def a problem with the phone and not anything to do with reception in my area. Only phone calls though, never lose signal when using data or market ect.
Guys, I'm a bit dense on this subject so please be kind.
I have JH2 on my Galaxy. I can't remember if I updated to this version via Kies.
So far, the 3-button recovery problem has not affected me. I haven't rooted Android (since I don't need SU rights), I haven't yet unlocked the phone (no need) and I haven't attempted any Android system updates. I guess I could be called an average user. I haven't tested the 3-button issue.
What circumstances could arise down the road, which would make it necessary for me to do a 3-button recovery? In other words, is this a problem which could affect all Galaxy owners?
Thanks.

I updated to JH2 prior to the SPL fix inclusion and found it to be better than JG9...smoother and less lag issues. Just make sure to backup everything.
My phone is still on jg9. It never had the three button issue it always worked for me. If I upgrade to jh2 how will this affect me?

I havent been able to update to JH2 from JG9 (trying to use kies but thats a prize in itself) but I have in the past gotten where I would try to call, and as the call dropped while still dialing it would tell me the radio is off. Or it would tell me im in airplane mode etc.
Now for the last 24 hrs I have yet to be able to make a call, although datta and texting works perfectly fine, every time I make a call it says my radio is off. And the same problem when someone calls, they are lucky if they get a fast busy signal.
Im talking with bell to get a replacement in store, if not I have a 'insurance' plan that'll give me a loaner etc while they ship it out.
Any update on whether your phone is still dropping into Flight mode?

Mobile data connection drop issue and Gmail issue AGAIN post 8107

Hey guys hav u ever experienced issue like dis:
Mobile internet connection drop and unable to got online or using web browser etc.
It cannot be fixed w/ rebooting.
Now it seems i can use disable/reenable 3G/3G switch and turn on/off 3g connection several time to make this work.
But it is still annoying
Any idea how to fix it?
Im using the latest firmware, radio, stuff: 11.11.1
btw the gmail search doesnt work either after 8107 update which said by MSFT wud fix this issue, any1 hav the same issue?
I can't find the switch 2g/3g switch!? lol
Don't have any other issues though!
Omnia 7 - originally on T mobile but now using unbranded ROM on Three.
Same problem here. The gmail search on server bug is really annoying!
I'm having the same problem as of today, my mobile data connection has dropped. I've tried rebooting, switching to airplane mode, re-enabling/disabling 3G/E multiple times. But the issue remains.
On proximus (belgium) with DFT rom
- Use the Diagnosis app
-Open up the Diagnosis app.
-Dial this (to enable autoconfigure sim setting): *#94765#
-It will ask you to restart the device. Confirm that.
Same problem here too. I was afraid it was my device..now i see almost all omnia 7's got this problem. No fix from samsung. Nice.
I've had issues with this for months. In fact since upgrading to Mango.
It's not hardware as I now have a warranty replacement and this one has the problem too. My sister also had hers replaced under warranty for the same issue and the issue remains for hers too.
I started a MS Answers thread months back but MS have ignored it... may as well add your voices though. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp7-wppics/data-connection-problem-since-mango-update/1544a63f-7bf0-43fa-837c-7e89f10b86ab

Can anyone confirm/unconfirm if this works? Getting really sick of this now. Restarting was fixing it, but now nothing. I'll add my views to your thread.
Had the data issue for months, it was so bad i stooped using the device.
Then as in old windows mobile i decided to flash another rom witch included another radio from another carrier, in this case a french one, well it did work ,then i could use the phone everywhere.
I cant tell you the rom version at the moment because i got a test roam loaded, but i can certainly find out later.
edit..
The rom was Mango fro sfr france.
you mean that flashing another rom fixed ur problem?
Can u post a link to the rom itself, please?

Yup, it has fix it.
I got it from HERE
Before that i could not do anything over 2/3g.
Now it works just fine.
One thing i remember, the device will boot in French, but you can change to English after in the control panel.
Before doing anything make a Device backup!
edit...
my radio hardware version is 0.0.0.800
radio software version 2424.11.9.1
Currently using the above radio with a custom rom v 24.24.11.9.4 and no problems with data.

can confirm that it doesn't work - sadly :-( - It has the effect of setting the switch in Network profile app (something you only get in unbranded ROMs by default..
BTW there is a thread on this in the Omnia 7 general forum
I had the same issue also but after using Healthcliffs fix 3g.xap my problem went away.

[Q] Bluetooth connectivity and BMW hands free no longer works with 4.3 update

Hello. I've only joined today as a result of the Samsung 9305 Jellybean Update 4.3.
I am on an EE T-Mobile UK i9305 LTE handset in factory condition, no rooting or any other modifications. I have just upgraded to the new update on 20 Jan 2014.
Apart from all the usual observations such as WI FI and battery life, I have another issue which I cannot find anywhere else.
Before the update and for the last year my i9305 worked fine with the bluetooth in my car. I have a 2004 X3 E83 BMW and the car paired absolutely fine. I would talk and connect with no problems. Since the update the phone connects to the bluetooth then drops after 3 seconds.
I have done the following:
Unpaired the phone and repaired;
Deleted the cache for bluetooth
Deleted the cache from the engineers mode
Samsung tells me that I now need to go to the dealer to ask them to upgrade my bluetooth software in the BMW, I explained that 1st I'm not sure if that could be done and second that would cost me money and time for something that was working perfectly fine 3 days ago for over a year. The only change is the update. Therefore I explained that there should be another update to correct this and all other problems immediately.
Has anyone encountered this issue with a car's bluetooth and anyone been able to figure out a fix. I don't really want to go down the avenue of trying a factory reset and testing if that works.
Many thanks
Havent had any issues like that with stock 4.3 and bluetooth so may or may not help but try clear the data for bluetooth share in application manager as well as un pair and re pair the device again after that has been done
