I9000 Headset with Mic and Button 100% Functional. - Xperia Play Accessories

Hello people. My last phone was a I9000 and I always liked the standard Samsung handset that came with him.
When I bought the Xperia Play I noticed that the same connector that comes in in I9000 will also XP. This disrupts the acquisition of headphones with mic and buttons working. But at least the I9000 handset is 100% compatible with XP.
For me the quality of this headset is far superior to ours, and it is quite cheap too, bought on Ebay, this is the link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/26094702894...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1613wt_876
The headset arrived yesterday and is 100% genuine. Combined with this:

It's the best I've ever heard in XP
They may try, you can not go wrong.
Note: I bought this phone too, but I'll wait until it arrives to test:

Bluetooth Headset ? Any idea ?

Hello !
I am searching for bluetooth headsets for my hTC HD2 !
I have the Motorola S9 HD but i'ld like to change
I am thinking about getting a Jaybird Sportsband 2 (
For the same price, is there something better ?
Thanks
of all the headsets i have had....about 15 in the last 2 years. this is due to the fact that i lose and break them very often because of my job; i would say the one i'm using right now is pretty good, it is the samsung WEP475.
pretty good audio
the other person can hear you very well, even in a 13L 425hp diesel!
and it is very loud, so having it on the low volume setting is a good idea (this is due to our phones i think though)
for me i just need something that works good, and is cheap. spending 100-200 on a bluetooth headset and loosing it 3 days later seems stupid to me.
on a side note the shortest timei have ever had a headset for is 2hrs before i ran it over with 100,000lbs!
try this mate!
months ago I started a thread (after many searches on this site about a good stereo bluetooth headset)
I restricted my choices onto 2 stereo headset and in the end I bought the SE MW600 ...
You can read the posts here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=713693
Mate, I really recommend this bluetooth headset to everyone ... long lasting battery, astonishing audio (like if you are listening music through a good mp3 player), voice commands, info on the led display (sometimes ...not everytime ... also the name of the caller), comfortable buttons-commands, etc ...
Regards
Is Bluetooth not universal?
Thanks for answering
What can you guys tell me about the Sennheiser HD 448 ?
Should I buy it ?
I use the Avantalk jogger. It is really light, has a very long running time and is not too expensive. Only the bass is too quiet!
I use the jabra extreme. Out supports a2dp and has place call function, redial, 2 mics to reduce background noise, good quality stereo sound in one speaker. Best buy has them for 80US.

I have used a Jabra BT8010 for years with my iPhone 3G and then my HTC HD2. Recently, I replaced it with the Samsung HM3500 and it works great, too. You can purchase the HM3500 on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280679860257
I bought mine from this person and it is excellent. It cost $27 and free shipping.
The new model is the HM3700 that T-Mobile is selling for $70. I didn't like the HM3700 because it did not have the big button on the side to answer a call.
The only thing I do not like about the HM3x00 is that it does not fit into my ear and thus sticks out about an inch from my face. I do like the ear bugs for the stero. Hope this helps anyone looking at this posting.
There is only one Bluetooth hands-free and it's called Jawbone:

Everything else is a compromise.
until today i have never need a headset

earbuds with mic

The headphones that came with my play seem to be dying. Looking for a replacement:
Shure SE115M+
Does not work, get Accessory not supported message. meh
Phonak Perfect Bass
Got a straight connector, will be a problem in the pocket
So I'm looking for over the ear cabling and a right angle jack - any suggestions?
Cheers

No joy with that but I did find these on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Ericss...WV3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311248051&sr=8-1
Ordered last week and delivered yesterday - not bad considering they have come from Germany. Proper Sony box, extra buds. Yay I have sound in both ears
Also.. this looks the business:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessories/overview/live-sound?cc=gb&lc=en#view=overview
No word on eta or price though
I got the MW600 Bluetooth... I great to have it wireless..., however... I don't like the quality of the headphones on either the Play Box or the MW600...
I can recommend the Samsung S8000 (JET) heaset... I used to have one it is GREAT!!!!
The sound is great on the and it has a jack for 3.5 on the Mic, so you can change the headphones only if you want... also it has a 90 degree plug. (funny because it make it uncorfortable on the JET... but GREAT for the PLAY.
Mine are also dying, slowly the volume output is getting lower and lower
Undecided on new headphones as well.
Don't want to spend money to have it die a month later, or have poor audio output .
MH650 are the stock ones that came with the phone? don't really want to buy ones that died within a month of use again.
Be careful what headphones you buy!
I bought Skullcandy FIX ear buds ( http://www.skullcandy.com/shop/fix-bud-navy-black.html ) and they dont work with the phone. The plug goes in but because of the curve on the phone, doesnt go in all the way so you get a weird cross channel. The headphones work awesomely in every other thing I tried, so it's basically just the curve on the body of the phone that stops it.

HTC Incredible S Earpiece port problem?

Hi there, I've been experiencing earpiece problems ever since I bought this phone. It is of my opinion that there's some design problem (or is it my device) about the port.
Earpiece like Beats somehow doesn't get "deep" enough for me to plug it in in order to work. Sometimes I need to twist and turn the end so that it goes deeper so that my music won't get cut off. I'm very confused with it and initially I thought that it was my earpiece problem..
but I tested my earpiece on my friend's Sony Ericsson phone(they have good ports), my computer and it worked like a charm. So im wondering whether I should S-ON my device and go for a service under my warranty to attempt to 'fix' my port or is it just the design that has the damn problem ?
please give your suggestions
have you tried with any other incS?
should not be a problem as all phones will have the same 'mould' during build.
but it is always possible to have a manufacturing defect.
true, on the incS the ear phone port is a little 'out' but it works fine for most.
i would suggest remembering a 'sweet spot' for the headphones & try plugging it there the next time.
or of course, if the vendor is ready to swap it for a new piece & you are really unhappy with this issue you could try
Thanks , it worked fine for most earpieces through , but a little upset that some earpieces can't work on mine .
I always thought that as long as I've a 3.5mm jack in my phone , most earpiece would work , I guess I have to choose those that are with "longer ends" when buying earpieces

[Q] Stock headset

Okay, so i was out the other day and relised i had lost my original headphones while i was out. I use headphones daily and couldn't live without them.
Question is does anyone stock the original Samsung Headset with the PTT(push to talk) button on it? or maybe another manufacturer that works with the Ace.
Preferably I'm looking for standard rather than the in-ear pair.
Thanks in advance!
I've tested it with an original headset from LG (LG optimus one). And worked!
Maybe you should try buy a new one and test it before you actually buy it.
the pinout of samsung's stock headset is universal, you may use it on iPod, HP 4-pole audio+mic jack and in others, but not on nokia. nokia headsets follow a different pinout pattern, swapping ground to mic+shield. well, I did successfully converted a nokia headset to a universal one.
wait, I was lost there, but still, samsung's 3.5mm jack is universal. only nokia is an exception. hehehe. you may use any headset except for old iPod headsets and nokia headsets. iPod 4, iPhone 4 and newest ipods have the universal jack pinout configuration that shares with almost all of handsets.
Thanks for the replies guys. Done a bit of digging around and found a user on eBay selling original headsets for £3

I tried my old Sony Ericsson headset and the sound was so distorted. It was like the speakers were rattleing although the sound was so quiet...
anyways, as mentioned before, i've found a set on ebay and a reasonably good price of £2.20
Not sure if i'm allowed to link to ebay pages but here goes...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280795430244?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
If I had a pound for every time i saw something sold as genuine on Ebay
We'll see what happens when they come, if they function properly ect... then at the end of the day i'm not fussed
Just got the set through this morning... Seems like stock, build quality is as good as my original, sounds is ok. and the button functions. So £2.20 well spent...
Thanks for your help guys

Question Galaxy Buds pro static noise

Hello,
I am facing a problem with my buds pro, whenever Ambient mode or ANC is activated there is a weird hissing /static noise on my left earbud. I updated to the lastet firmware and reset the buds but still the same issue.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Sorry. Mine don't do that. Since you already reset the buds, not sure what else you could try.
My right bud pro has this issue.
I reread your Q and checked out this new Buds product.
Could be hardware or firmware. Took Samsung 1.5 years to finally get the SSC algorithm/ firmware right with Buds+ so don't hold your breath.
I'm still comparing the two but if audio quality is the same I go with the Buds+.
ANC is lot harder to implement and can degrade the sound quality.
These are sealed so background noise usually isn't a deal breaker.
So far I'm still leaning towards the Buds+
I want a definite HQ audio upgrade more than ANC.
Goofy Samsung... is good at dropping the ball.
Just to update you guys, after endless calls with samsung support France ( where I live). I ended up returning the unit and getting a new one, the new ones don't have any issue right out of the box.
The store told me that it was not uncommon so I guesss it's a hardware problem.
Thank you all for your replies!

Yay!
Samsung Tech Support sucks, trying to use it is believing. They won't cross ship either; they need the return before they send out the new ones.
Did you get lucky? If so it's a sure sign of a known defect. Either way, well done
Remember to update their firmware if updates are available...
Do you have the Buds+?
Have far does the bass extend on the Pro's?
Cutoff for the Buds+ is 27hz, at 35hz it's strong.
Cutoff for the Buds is 30hz; low bass is noticeably weaker and more distorted than the +'s.
Anyone who has a pair of the Buds+ and the Buds Pro please post your opinion of your listening experience between the two.

My buds pro is the same problem, a static noise on left side after update... I bought in Brazil. Did someone already solve it?

If it happened after a firmware flash it is either a bad flash or bad firmware.
The former is more likely if only a few are doing it. There's no way to recover from a bad flash that I'm aware off short of sending them in for repair. The next update may undo a bad flash if it's a complete copy of the firmware. Not sure.
Be very careful when doing a Buds firmware flash. I've done over a half a dozen with no issue but it only takes one bad flash.
I faced the same issue with my buds pro, the static noise seemed to be annoying.. But suddenly it started working fine, I still didn't figure out what the problem was.. Hoping it doesn't happen again..
Are these Galaxy buds Pro really very good?
I have been trying to search everywhere after this site put them at their most recommended number one in a specific price range https://buy.guru/best-wireless-earphones-for-15000/
any user opinions would be helpful ,especially if compared to Apple Airpods as it would help me ascertain if i should buy them or not.
Cheers!

You have a Samsung device? If so it's a no brainer to go with one of the Buds.
Because all the Buds use the Samsung proprietary codec SSC they should blow Airpods away on a Samsung I would think.
The Buds are designed for Samsung and interface seamlessly.
The Buds+ never fall out, which is what I use.
I'm hesitant to go to the Pro's because of possible fit issues and the +'s have a very long battery life.
For music listening Poweramp's equalizer dials them in well. If you have an extensive music database Poweramp is well worth it. Requires a lot of setup but is completely able to be backed up 100% as long as the music database is intact.
Yes i have a Samsung S20 and a Apple XS Max too.
So need to use the earphones with both the devices. Have been trying to get a demo from someone who owns them, but all attempts thusfar have been futile.

If you use the Samsung a lot get the Buds+ if you want a sealed bud. The Buds+ support all the lame codecs that Apple has got but the interface will almost certainly suffer.
The Buds are integrated for Samsung's; if there's no Wearables Manager for Apples there will be loss of functionality when using on with Apple.
May work ok for basic calls, no clue though.
Sorry, I'm not an Apple guy... strictly PC and Android.
How wonderful are these Galaxy buds Pro?
I've been looking everywhere, but because this site ranked them as the most helpful user review in a particular price range and compared them to Apple Airpods, any user reviews would be extremely helpful in deciding whether or not I should purchase them.

I never tried the Pro. I like the sealed, compact Buds+. They don't fall out. 11 hour run time.
Airpods don't support LDAC or SSC codecs so you're stuck with SBC. They're bulky and look goofy. A poor choice for a Samsung phone.
Is there a way to connect fake Samsung buds pro? I know that if they are not original, it does not work with the app, but is there any way to hack the app or do something with the headphones? Perhaps by modifying the headphones they become compatible, either by software or hardware. I ask if it is possible.
