The problem here lies when you download apps from the market. The phone caches the apk to a folder in you root "/cache/download (or downloaded)" when you are downloading an app from the market. What happened there is that the apk of the installed app wasn't cleared from "/cache/download" so if your rooted your best bet would be to go to the said folder and delete any apk there.

i think i read a thread that make me :
1.partition my SD card
2.install link2SD.apk
3.do some steps to fake the phone and make one of the partitions like an internal memory

Yes, that is what you need to do. Your step.3 is done by link2SD so once you install and configure link2SD it should all just work ;-)
I think you need to start from scratch. Have you partitioned your SD card first?
Btw, give more details when you ask a question here.

Make an second partition on sd through cwm,first format your sd card.
Then install link2sd(thats my personal favourite) or any other app of this type and then move your apps to second partition.
Voila! All apps moved to sd.
If u want to fix low internal memory message then try market fix app from market.Its free.

Well there are a lot ways to free up memory inGalaxy Ace aka Cooper. The easiest way is to type this code and choose ''run dumpstate'' the 2nd option. Type this code *#9900#. This will free up memory.

hm are you using S2E? or maybe you have too many apps currently installed, can you give us the exact error showing?

hm is your sd-card partitioned?, you can try partitioning from Recovery and after enable your S2E. That will put all your installed apps into the sd-ext so that you will have more free space for installing apps depending on what size you chose.

BUT be careful partitioning your sd-card will be formatted so have a buckup of your data.
Same problem here... I want install back myfiles.apk and forest.apk. I already using root explorer and adb, but none of it was working.

may be your second patition is full and if it is then you have to repartition it to a much big size than before

if you have unlocked bootloader then you should try FroyoPro 2.5 rom and [email protected] v9 no fps cap kernel

is advanced task killer too much? one frigging app... it has occurred many times...i simply battery pull wipe the phone install froyopro again... i will do anything to use froyopro.... i think i am going wrong in the flashing somewhere... i even delete the system apps so may be it is causing problem

oh yeah i just remembered i installed es task menager,put widget on my desktop and after reboot widget was gone only app left

no worries... extracted the rom deleted usless things..intergrated aroma installer by fotak-x's method and then recompiled it...it was pain in @ss to delete them after every flash

If you are using sd-ext then stop it.. It is useless and slow!
Format your sdcard as one partition (ext4).
Install Titanium Backup and use it to move apps to the sdcard.
You'll never have this issue again and apps will run faster.

What's the difference if you are using an sd-ext partition using the ext4 file system?
This is a guide to root and switch the internal storage to sdcard
Fully working on JB 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
P31xx only
Ideal if you don't want a custom rom
all files a linked through developers posts no direct links to files
Warning all proccedures are done at your own risk
Do Not Cry at me if something goes Belly up Read about each download on devs page before installing
This is for Samsung Galaxy Tab2 GT-P31XX ONLY
Read this guide through from start to end collecting all files you need on the way BEFORE starting
first thing you need is odin 3v1.85
download your version of JB 4.1.x from http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-P3110 if your device is not a GT-P3110 change the device on the left hand side to yours
Install via ODIN and download mode
Now we want to root the Tab2 with CF-Autoroot from http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/4...70-p3110-root-android412-xxdma2-jellybean.htm
Install Via ODIN again
Now you have a rooted galaxy tab2
Check if SuperSU is installed if not install from google play now, while at google play install "Root terminal Emulater" we need this later
now we need a new Kernal to be able to swap Storage so Download kkboot-0.5.2-core-p31xx.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1855700
Download and install Moblie odin from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
copy kkboot-0.5.2-core-p31xx.zip to your tab2's sd card
open mobile odin accept su request and scroll down to install OTA update, zip and select kkboot-0.5.2-core-p31xx.zip. now select flash firmware. accept all warnings
Device now reboots check new kernal installed in settings/about/kernal
if all ok we now swap storage
open Terminal emulater accept SU
enter the command "setprop persist.customboot.sdcard external" without Quotes
Reboot system
goto settings/storage and now you should have sdcard and internal storage switched round
DO NOT REMOVE SD CARD WITH DEVICE ON
any problems start over

One more point if you take this in an positive way...
Since we have implimented the swap features in sungsonicHD rom.....
SWaping sd cards will work in both stock and custom kernel AGNi....
So this proved that swap mod will work in both stock ane custom kernels......
So I feel that it is better to edit point number 9 in op.....only if your willing ....to change.......

Chrome BETA seems to work fine on this version.
As for backing up maybe you can try MyBackup from play store.
The glitches is a known bug, szezso stated these will be gone in #11, "coming soon".
I suppose the stock SMS app backs up SMS in some proprietary format, rendering the file useless unless you have the stock SMS app installed.
I always use Super Backup to backup my SMS, contacts, and call logs.
I use WeSync by Tencent to backup my contacts and messages

recently found out that some apps cannot be placed into sd card. they will not work properly if done so

some apps that you use often you will naturally put it in your internal memory as it will load alot faster so guess some apps have their own reasoning to not allow move to SD. but some apps can be forced into the SD cards

We can't do anything about system partitions. That is how lollipop is built.

Hey Brother The RAM is enough for running multiuser. CM12 5.0.1 already has this feature enabled and no lags even if i switch between Guest, Owner or New User!

Hey Guys. Please help me. I am unable to update my canvas A1 to 5.1.1.
Below is my current situation.
Bootloader: Unlocked
Recovery: stock
Root : Yes
Current OS: 5.1
Getting error: /system/bin/app_process32 has unexpected contents
Google search revealed this is due to root. After unrooting this, getting below error:
/system/bin/install_recovery.sh has unexpected contents.
I tried to flash the 5.1 stock recovery file but failed with error: "Could not install OS with older timestamp"
Tried using custom recovery like TWRP, CWM, Phillz
So to get 5.1.1, I need the link for full download file (~around 500mb) so that I can dirty flash it.
I do not care of my data as I use it for only calling and casual games.
Please help me in solving this error and providing the link.
