Somehow when i install & apply this wallpaper .. it no longer lags!

Witch luncher you using with CM7 ? I installed lucher pro (really like it!) but it's working very bad. when opening/closing menu is working very very slow... any idea how to fix it ?

OK i fixit by using 3D drawer (experimental)! fixing that problem thanks anyway. maybe will help someone
I'm using ADW Ex on CM7, and it works great.
I checked the memory usage of LauncherPro and ADW and the last seems to use less memory.
To change the opening and closing speed in LP, go to preferences->advanced. Choose opening / closing speed and set the values to 8 or higher from the default 4.
sorry maybe i didn't write good. when I was opening/closing menu than sytem was laging, it's not about speed up but about working fine (english is not my nativ language)...
anyway enable 3D drawer is fixing that problem.
In my situation luncher pro is working much, much, much faster than ADW but it's only my opinion. After installing lucher pro and removing adw system is faster - or maybe it's only ilusion

Hi guys , it seems that our OB has some problems with LW, i ran some launchers and ADW launcher ex runs smooth with the live wallpapers on, but when i run launcher pro on go launcher the LW are lagging too much. So why it's lagging , since the phone is not that slow. Does anyone has a solution for this lag on go launcher and launcher pro? Thanks in advance!

I'm on 902 and running Eclipse 2.2, and before every rom install, I reset to factory, wipe cache, format system and wipe dalvik.
I've reinstalled a couple times and have not gotten rid of this problem. Sometimes, upon unlocking the phone, the "eclipse launcher" crashes. And if it doesn't completely crash, the phone behaves very slow and does some really strange things... until the launcher eventually crashes... I contacted the developer with a logcat I created and he confirmed the launcher was crashing. He suggested I install a third party launcher to see if it fixes the problem. I installed ADW launcher EX. Well it fixed the problem, but my battery life has taken a bit of hit. I'd prefer to run the stock launcher, but not sure what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Well uninstalled ADW Launcher EX. Battery life is back to normal. Eclipse launcher still crashing after pattern security unlock. Not always, but every 3 or 4 unlocks, usually after charging my phone overnight.
I too am/was having the force close, and the super slow screen transition. I think its an issue with the eclipse launcher itself for bionic, because a friend of mine does not have this issue with eclipse on his Razr.
I have found a small file size home launcher called Nemus launcher. Very very snappy, great options, so far, problem free while on eclipse, give it a try!

Finally someone else with the same issue! Glad I am not alone. I will try out this nemus launcher. Thanks for the suggestion!
Solved the Eclipse launcher crash problem. The default launcher for Eclipse has been conflicting with Beautiful Widget's Home Widget. I have been running the default launcher with no Home Widget for 5 days, no crashes. Although the Home Widget used to work with no conflicts, I assume that after I changed the weather refresh variable to refresh upon "phone wake", that the problem started happening. (I never associated this at the time). I have not tested the Home Widget with a different refresh variable yet. But for now am happy that I am running the default launcher and have exceptional battery life again!
Both third party launchers I tried fixed the above crash problem (while running home widget), but drained more battery. Glad to be back to default.
Edit: This ended up not fixing the problem. Spoke too soon...

I use beautiful widgets too, but dont have it set on wake. Still not using eclipse launcher though, the Nemus launcher has been perfect as far as performance, customization and battery usage. no complaints here..

Yea so I jinxed myself. Launcher crashed this morning. I'll try a few other things, will report back if I can get a week of stability I guess.

Many of you probably noticed dropping frames when you're pulling down notification bar. It's somewhere below 30 fps ( ****, my spica was smoother) and is very noticeable and ****ty. And it affects only the bar, if you have wallpaper on notification wallpaper will be scrolling at 60 fps and bar will be lagging.
Stock doesn't have this problem but every AOSP-based rom does ( CM, PAC , AOKP) .
This lagging occurs only when on launcher home screen, in apps it is smooth. Could someone shed some light on us why it happens ?
Only solution I found is to use Trebuchet and enable Quick wallpaper rendering. When enabled bar is smooth again. But Apex and NOva don't have this feature....
I found people with same problem on HOX and GNote II forums, that was were I found the fix:
enable Quick wallpaper rendering.
Could some dev say something about his ?
I've also noticed that lag and I 've enalbled the "Quick render hack", but it still lags...
Well i thought Nova and Apex are "good" launchers...
Anyone can confirm that on stock lag appears when using beforementioned launchers ?
Is there a possibility to use stock LG launcher on CM ??
For me it was lagging also on stock rom with stock LG launcher,but I haven't tried LG launcher in CM...

Hey how do u activate Quick Wallpaper rendering on LG O4X but???
I am using cm & get the notification pull down lag in every launcher except the LG launcher.
It's only on Trebuchet CM. In settings, trebuchet.
As the title says I have a problem with UI lag when using CM based rom.I have used Jelly Bear and Avatar and both drop fps when pullling the notification or opening apps.It just lags compared to stock like LG rom.What is the reason of this?Does anyone experience this problem or is it just me?

yes I use nova launcher to fix notification bar lag but its only that.I dont know do you notice it but there is some lag in UI but it seems that it is better when you turn of animations in developer options.Did you buy Next launcher or you downloaded pirated app?
