No need to spam this thread anymore. I know what option there are to view it. But for the creator it should also be freakin' easy to create a .gif or whatever.
I don't grab it cuz I don't know what Im grabbing. And maybe other think like me, and RobYyY has less people using this (which might be an awesome bootanimation....)

It says to push to your system/app folder using Root Explorer. Very easy method when apps won't install.

if youre installing into the /system folder then its required to make the directory r/w or you won't be able to copy the apk to the system directory. for market apps this process isn't required.

[Boot Animation] [MOD] New Nexus Prime boot animation for MDPI Devices

Hi All,
I have edited the official Nexus Prime boot animation (BA) to fit in our MDPI because the original form of BA was for HDPI devices.
You can use this BA in any MDPI devices/roms/versions.
How to install: (Not flashable)
Download the attached zip file (don't change the name)
Use Root explorer or same kind of tool.
Copy the boot animation from SD card and paste it to system/media folder (please don't forget to unmount by pressing r/w)
Note: Given path is for CM7 and for MIUI ROM put it in /data/system/theme/boots/
Reboot
Thanks to febycv for the HDPI boot animation and Video.

Optimus 2x is HDPI.. I modded this BA to fit in MDPI devices. That's why you see blank space.. you can use the original version...

[small release] Zip-Align .apk files in Windows

Hello everybody,
This small app I made for Windows automatically creates a (batch)script so you can Zip-Align a sh*tload of apps at once without your phone.
I made this for myself and I don't think it is that usefull, but if you need it, feel free to download
Just extract the zip somewhere and run "Zip-Align.exe"
Tested on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
U can do this using an app.

im sorry newbie to this what does this actually do ?

I know, thats why I thought it wouldn't be that usefull. I extract often system.img files and edit them and create an update.zip of it for myself. With this small program I zip-align all the apps in no time on my pc so I don't have to do it on my phone.

You can select a folder with android apk files, then the program creates a .bat file which you can run to zip-align all the apk files in that selected folder.

I have only one little enhancement request... do you make something movable in loop in second part? It will make something like progress report and if it stuck, I immediately know there is something screwup :]
Thats a great idea ill make some thing that moves on the last part

No- copy the bootanimation.zip and paste it in /system/media/ - using a root explorer like ES file explorer
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA
If you not have a root (anyone exists?) you can copy it to /data/local and still keep the original bootanimation untouched.
It look very Nice ,but when i past it in système/média it say that he can't do it because their are another one ,but i can't suppress it !
How can i do ?
Looks great, gonna flash it later.!

Try Root Explorer, then mount R/O
You didn't need a root, just put it to
Code:
/data/local
and that's all...
You can use ADB
Code:
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local
looks great! i'll try it!
Really nice, thanks.
Nice, thanks!
very good.Thanks

[MOD] [ICS] [9/9/12] Tube TV Shut Down Animation [v1.0]

This is a shut down animation for your HTC Vivid, Raider, Velocity (obviously xD). You have to root your device to be able to install it and have ES File Explorer or whatever you use.. download the downanimation.zip DO NOT UNZIP IT!! Open up ES File Explorer, hit menu, scroll down to root settings, and check everything in there. Ok, after that you're going to wanna copy/cut the downanimation.zip from wherever you downloaded it and navigate to system/customize/resource and paste it there, OVERWRITING THE OLD DOWNANIMATION.ZIP!!
In AOSP ROMs its in system/media or data/local

That happens to be my favorite down animation \o/
Thanks so much
PS can it be used on other devices with a larger screen?
