What happen to Melvin and the Beastmod thread

Is there no more beastmod support. If not what happen?

I spoke with Mel and he said he's gonna continue on droid-tech.com. From what I was told it was a misunderstanding of some sort. Just follow him on droid-tech. He'll definitely be missed by me and many others. Luckily I have the privilege of contacting him via gtalk.

Looks like it got locked because he got banned from xda. Don't know why. If you want to follow his ROM, like I do, I think you can find his thread on Droid tech. It's a much smaller forum but I think he's there.

What's the actual URL of that site please? Can't seem to Google it. I've tried a number of combinations. Droidtech.com gets: NOTICE: This domain name expired on 11/09/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion. NOTICE: This domain name expired on 11/09/2011 and is pending renewal or deletion. And droid-tech.com gets nothing.

UPDATE: Mel said follow his twitter. He's about to post a letter on twitter about what happen I guess. @bosina_dev is his name. He also said look out for him on droid-tech.com

Hey guys.
Im in desperate need of a website developer.

From what I've seen (I've only played with it very slightly), Wordpress is meant to be quite easy to use and learn, for non-developers. Have you thought about just doing some online tutorials to see if you could do it yourself?

Wordpress is all modular though - you don't need to code anything. There's also alternatives like Joomla and Drupal, again built for non-developers.

Basically, you have a core site template where you set up what pages you have and things like that. You then add plugins (modules) by importing them using an interface.
There's a list of some of the wordpress plugins here...

African XDA members

Hi every body....am feeling kinda lonely cos am yet to come across an African on XDA. My name is Joe from Accra, Ghana I joined XDA 3 months ago. My friends have started calling wizard cos they never seem to understand how I can do all the things I have leant from xda. I am currently working on an app too..... I sit and wonder when Africa is also going to be big in the IT world....I wish ma fellow guys will convert all the time they spend trying to scam people, to sit and learn a thing or two about their own PCs....I still know people who have never seen a computer so u can imagine how far behind Africa is... I pray very soon all this will come to an end..... OK back to the main issue... if you are from Africa write down your country and city and all you have leant and what you have been able to do with the knowledge you've gotten from xda....for me....within 3 month I have leant how to s-off,root,flash ROMs ,hboots and radios...in 7 different devices and as I said, I am working on my first app..(even doe am not having it easy) this might not be much for the big boys here but its still better than nothing:thumbup: soo if you are from Africa or any country with very little IT recognition.. pls post your name and wat you have leant and done from XDA..... I hope am not trolling:thumbup:

I have learn alot from xda, even thou I only registered a couple of days ago, I have been reading xda for quite a while. I have learned how to S-OFF, root, flash recovery, flash ROMS through recovery and Odin. I am also trying to learn how to make a app, learning new programing languages aren't as easy as they use to be.

I really like Isabella. Penelope sounds too old-fashioned to me, the rest of them are ok as well.

I rather like Aria. It's not too common and it has a nice ring to it.
To me Anjalee sounds like a name used for when you don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl, so you can call her Anja or him Lee as a nickname. But that's just silly me :silly:

You are getting rid of some of the best options. You lose Lexus, Porsche, Velveeta, and Dopey. But then there is always Shamika or Tamitrius or some such.
