Is the app File Manager HD the only one that can see my SD card in NTFS format? - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Themes and Apps

Currently my 64 GB micro sd card is in NTFS format with movies larger than 5 GB each.
However, the only way that I can explore my movie folder in this NTFS micro sd card is using the app called File Explorer HD. This folder is seen as mmcblk1p1 folder. I have to first mount my NTFS micro SD card using the app called Drive Mount.
Anyway, is there any other file explorer that does the same as the File Explorer HD? I tried Astro File Explorer, Root Explorer, and ES File Explorer but they cannot find my mmcblk1p1 folder.

have you tried Total Commander? (I have not checked yet)

U can use ntfsd to mount nffs micro SD card

I use NTFS Mount and then it appears in external sd as per usual. ES File Explorer to read it.

-Run the following command to set the default install location to your SD card:
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2
-
-If you want to revert this change later and install apps to the internal storage by default, run this command:
adb shell pm setInstallLocation 0
-0 represents your device’s internal storage, and is the default. 2 represents the external storage, whether it’s an SD card or USB storage.
Complete process:http://www.howtogeek.com/114667/how...y-default-move-almost-any-app-to-the-sd-card/
-Someone who can tell me the pros and cons of this process. Will gain some internal memory and I reduce the battery consumption?
I didn't know about that, I should try. Thanks for the info but Sorry for not giving any clue.

I have this same problem. Can't move apps to SD card.
Help us please!
I'm using most recent Pac-man rom 4.4.4. SD card is 32Gb.
Currently, Android only supports the primary external storage for native App2SD function.
If the primary external storage is emulated from the internal phone storage (like in S3, Note 1&2 etc.) or does not exists at all, moving app to SD function will not be supported by Android system. It's the limitation of device (rom & hardware).
You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card.
Its not even letting me link the files.

I don't think App2SD supports i9305. I have this problem before but decides not to use it.
Or maybe you can use Liquid Smooth Rom. They do have the function to move apps to SD.

microSD - kitkat lock

The first thing I noticed when I began playing with my Note 4: the files made on my 64gb microsd from my previous phone (note II) are still there after I tried to format the disk several times both on my PC and the (note II)
within only a few minutes of research I found several sites saying microSD cards were locked with the kitkat update?
I was just wondering if anyone here has any input as to whether we'll either (a) ever be able to or (b) are already able to delete old files and I haven't seen the right link?
SD Card Write Fix
Just edit etc/permissions/platform.xml (using root explorer) as shown below...and reboot...
add line:
<group gid="media_rw" />
Now all apps will be able to write to external SD Card... This is a temporary manual fix until we have a working custom recovery)

Works like a charm.

[Q] SD card is detected by Windows but i can't access it

Today i was using my phone as normal and then i get the warning: "SD Card was removed unexpectedly". Tried to reboot to see if things went normal but with no success. I don't think it's completely dead because when i insert it on my computer windows does make the detection sound, but i can't access it.
Help?
Maybe you can try to format your sd card via your computer.
Before you format the card (using FAT32 only), try to do an error scan on Windows.
That's what happens when i plug my MicroSD card into my computer. Windows DOES detect it as a storage, but it can't access. I've inserted it on a Galaxy 5 and it asks to format the media, but the process is interrupted in the middle.
Maybe MBR?

From my experience your card is dead. I had the same exact issue with my 64 go microsd card. I had to buy new card couldn't even recover my files

You should have a look in the device manager, maybe, you have only to create a partition on the sdcard ...

Help, Partition problems. Default storage.

Can't switch external as default storage anymore and there's another partition showing up. It's a same storage partition. I tested it with screenshot. It showed up in both internal partition. I tried many times to change to external as default storage but after reboot it doesn't change. All my app data is store in sd card.
This happens when I install xposed framework from twrp and my battery ran out before it successfully reboot. But I didn't turn it on when I recharge it. I took out the memory card to copy some file and I turn it on without memory card in my phone to check some text. When I turn on with memory card in my phone I check my file with es file explorer. Then I just found out that there's 2 internal storage in my phone. Then I check the storage in setting. The default storage has been switched to internal.
Before I put back the memory card I run a chkdsk on the card with cmd. ( chkdsk /f [letter]
I've done this few things so I don't know which step makes it like that and how can I fix it.
