Really, so while in download mode ODIN doesn't detect it at all?
Do you have odin 4.38 and am using Tass_v1.0.ops with it?
This sounds nothing like what you PM'd me about.
I really can't fix it if i don't know what is broken.

mate..the stock recovery works and the download mode also works...the pc shows usb detected and drivers installed when i connect my pop plus in download mode....but the damn odin wont glow the com port..

first open odin then connect device in download mode
if you can open stock recovery then flash cwm non touchable version flashable with stock recovery
and if you get cwm then flash cm7 i think then it will boot

I asked you to put it in download mode and gave you exact instructions of how to do so and this isn't what you told me in PM.
If i might make a suggestion, return the PC and the phone, you are not fit to use either.

Don't bother, it's a troll that has been saying different things in different threads and is of absolutely no use.
I regret having a PM discussion with this troll too.

can you give me some example of his pm so i can request mod a ban for him

ooohhhhh tryin to ban me mr.awesome man and i bet you cant ....am not a troll and i ask for help that is all ..

Samsung service center revived my pop plus...from loads of googling i found out that
1.there is no odin program released for GT-S5570I
2.Even if you use the odin meant for pop, pop plus wont be detected..(no matter how updated the usb drive and kies is)
3.Even if you manage to get odin to detect POP plus, once the firware files are loaded odin throws "OUT OF MEMORY" error due to incompatible .ops file(since your using ops meant for galaxy pop)

By the way, is the USB Jig for SGS the same size with the USB slot of the Galaxy Mini? Does the USB Jig works on Galaxy Mini? Is this tried and tested on this pgone? Sorry for too many questions. Thanks.

I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=14.728119,121.029307
Go a google search with "unbricking galaxy s jig"
It can be use for xperia mini too.
Gudluck!
It might be,battery suddenly empty. Its hard for phone to brick.Charge ur phone 1st at full... And choose the right baseband according rom prequistid. I b4 this rooted and installing CWM on this galaxy mini and the phone at samsung logo or samsung galaxy mini logo.
As on my condition, follow guide that been explained. If u have flashed the CWM, REBOOT. Then at samsung logo, press volume down, then u can access CWM. To avoid other probs, flash it with cyanogen mod. Or it maybe cant be loaded.
As far i concerned, for galaxy mini got 2 type of recovery. That is,
Enchanced recovery
&
Tass Recovery
For me,choose tass recovery.

(I think this set of steps works in these conditions: Hard-brick, absolutely non-responsive to any button combination. Odin still recognizes the phone when connected through USB port)
1.- Remove both the SIM card and de microSD card.
2.- KEEP YOUR BATTERY REMOVED
3.- Apply the Download-mode button combination (known by you all)
4.- WHILE HOLDING THE COMBINATION, insert the battery, and keep the buttons pressed untill you get the download mode.
5.- Flash your phone with a valid firmware through Odin (Preferebly, have Odin prepared before doing this trick)
I finally flashed it widh Gingerbread 2.3.4 but i don't really like it, because it ended up a little buggy, which i am still trying to get rid of.
Anyway, i hope this helps.

This tutorial is very complicated and I have tried to explain it as best as I can, hope it help some of you guys.
PS. If you have any USB driver problems or windows deleted problems with device managers or drivers in general causing errors you must fix these problems first or use a different computer, if the drivers wont install properly you cannot do it on that computer.
EDIT: Gingerbread 2.3.4 firmware, I can confirm this works
Did I get some of the previous posts about using usb jigs for SGS on samsung galaxy GT S 5570 right??
What software is required?
Some USB jigs for SGS 900XX (as in 9000i 9003i etc) are available on line for between INR 250 to 600 (1 U$D is approx 49 INR).

why I cant connect to wifi after flushing?
if you have ANY problem with booting/running your samsung phone, just reflash ROM:
a)bring phone in Download mode again (Turn it with pressing HOME+VOLUME DOWN+POWER buttons )
b) if you get display with showing image: computer connected to phone with broken cable, JUST simply connect it again to PC (better to another usb port) and run ODIN again!
that's my experience with SG3 and SGS+
so.. i have my samsung gsplus in downloading mode, what now???
it's like 10 minuts now
ow and now i even don't get it in download mode anymore.
Have the phone-pc logo.
odin won't connect..
can someone pleaze help me???
take out the battery
wait like 2-3 min
insert it again
boot into download mode and flash a stock rom via odin
ok phone is now in dowload mode again.
Won't set up a connection in odin :s
error: cannot open the usb serial port. code: 5
EDIT: ow that was becouse KIES was open.
Now it almost started bus ODIN freezes :s
try another usb port
or another computer
wauw haha thank you, just another usb port did the job
how easy

well there is no speedmod k2 16 kernel for our device
so you flashed a kernel for an other device thats the reason why your phone got bricked
never flash a kernel which is built for an other device !!!!
You Flashed a Kernel for SGS, so that was predictable. Perhaps you can get into download mode through USB-JIG (just use search)

Go to this site http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 and you will find Odin 1.85. Firmware for your country/region and flashguide. Register first, it`s free
It`s not so hard: download Odin 1.85, download the right firmware.
Put the firmware in PDA in Odin, close Kies and kies trayagent and PDLR in your windows toolbar (rightclick and go to taskmanager), put your phone in downloadmode, connect with computer and when you see ADDED in the left corner window of Odin and the the ID.com left upper window turns yellow press start and flash and let it boot. Not specific, you select any different, n as balok said connect directly to usb port, n close if antivirus running. Better download rom without antivirus, some time antivirus can cause problem, if any component of rom falsely consider as trojan.

I have this problem before and i managed to use ODIN3 v1.83 (can use Odin3 v3.07) to detect my phone and flash a stock rom onto the device. I followed the advice given on this excellent thread by Supermini.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970
As mentioned on his thread make sure you have the latest stock firmware from the sammobile site or by using Check Fus Downloader as per the guide in Rafael thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156, a working samsung USB driver to detect your mobile on your PC and a copy of ODIN3 v1.83 (or v1.84, v1.87, v3.07 run ODIN in administrator mode if using in windows). Ultimately if this this fails you could always try a USB jig which can be purchased from ebay, etc. to get the phone into download mode.
Good luck and if this helps make sure you send a thank you to Supermini.

So . . . last thing to rescue your phone is buy on e-bay or in other place JIG if it isn't help you then try in phone service and say you tried install new ROM with Kies and your phone is brick (maybe it'll work).
Say to Service Centre Representatives that you kept your at charging last night
And when you woke up
It was not booting up
Pretend as if you dunno anything about root or ROM
They fixed my bricked phone
I am not sure if I am breaking any forum rule by telling this
Hey bro sorry for the late reply also, please before you do anything else try following my instructions.
1) download Odin v3.07
2) source the stock firmware you want to flash from sammobile.
3) make sure you have the Samsung mobile driver.
4) open and run Odin as administrator and load the single file in the PDA and highlight the tick box.
5) shut the phone down and take out your Sim card.
6) put the mobile into download mode as normal (press both up/down vol keys +power)
7) connect the phone to the PC and check in Odin to make sure its com port is detected.
8) then flash through Odin as normal.
I understand what your saying about no download screen appearing, I have found through experience that custom kernels can cause no download screen to appear. Normally with stock kernel this is not a problem but with custom kernels sometimes all you get is a black screen. Ignore this and just make sure that Odin is detecting the phone and try to flash, chances are it will flash the stock ROM and kernel. If you get the setup connection error in Odin and the fail 0\1 just try another USB port on your PC and keep persevering.
Please keep us updated so we can help you if you need it.

Why will it be hardbricked if the custom roms are based on s5830i stock roms?
But it is probable that we did I not flash the rom properly as per procedure..so is there a chance that it be bricked? Else the rom may have some problem... just telling the probability

Ignore this and just make sure that Odin is detecting the phone and try to flash, chances are it will flash the stock ROM and kernel. If you get the setup connection error in Odin and the fail 0\1 just try another USB port on your PC and keep persevering.
Follow this and don't worry about black screen just make sure Odin detects your PC com port.

Then I rebooted my phone into recovery mode via adb again.

I then followed this thread and reinstalled the CWM for froyo.

Tried flashing oem gingerbread but took to long so powered it off.

Tried One click unbrick

Go to this page
Select Type [Smartphone]
Select OS [Android]
Select Model [your phone model]
Select Country [your country]
Then click on SEND
The page will show you current firmware and additional files ...
Download firmware ....
Download flash program from additional files ...

For GT-S5570i, only Odin version 1.84 and 1.87 can detect the phone.
Unfortunately both version doesn't have the one package option to flash ....
So u need to split the original md5 file into PDA, PHONE and CSC 3 package files.
As the splitting md5 file is quite complicated just download following 3 files,
all this files were used to flash my GT-S5570i
(split from Original Samsung Firmware Android 2.3.6 released on October 2012) ...
For PDA
Download this
For PHONE
Download this
For CSC
Download this
For Flash Program & pit file
Download this
Don't forget to UNCHECK the Re-partition box.
If u want your country firmware to be split then give me your link.
I will split and upload it for u.
try to recovery by odin.

If u access download mode, flash stock rom, (donwload one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 and flash) If it fails. Check your samsung drivers, thats often a reason why it fails, but i suppose u have them. Don't stop the flashing process until the odin says Pass in a blue box. If flashing fails even then.... its service center or if u can, use a usb jig. That's all i can think of..
