Dont ask for the method or code, we will not release that until HTC blocks the exploit.
Don't if it is your intention to donate, do not do so before release.
Don't PM us asking for additional progress/status or information we will keep the threads updated with what information we are willing to release.

I wouldn't worry about it. There full for testers. The point of SSH I believe. Is so they don't give the testers the files for s-off. So the testers can't make a thread saying here's the files. You know what I mean? Poorly worded I know. My apologies.

I couldn't believe that, when that happened! A moderator here actually gave me demerits and dropped my post count back under the 10 post count and erased all of my posts, because I posted what they claimed was off-topic! Really?! I was off-topic talking about my Tablet on an Android web site, in the GENERAL forum?! HUH???
And then on top of that, lied and said they were tired of warning me, or some such statement that said that it wasn't my first warning? What???
I'm sorry, but my experience here has been an extremely bad one and most people have either been rude, or ignored my question while responding to my message, or told me I shouldn't have posted it and not with but a couple of exceptions, not too kindly either!
Some people here have a superiority complex and make it a bad experience! And it isn't just me. I have seen multiple posts with complaints like mine and I've only been here a matter of days! This place is really uptight, man! When I'm here, I feel like someone's watching me, while smacking a bat on their hand to let me know what's up! And that's the truth!

Ok guys, I know almost everyone of us has been a noob on XDA. We have done mistakes, but then understood the meaning of the site, and started contributing to it. This thread will be one where everyone can share their first mistake that they did on XDA in the violation of its rules. I know many won't come forward, but atleast few will to accept their mistakes. These mistakes aren't anything to be ashamed of, since I know many of us have improved and contributed much to the site. We might just get a few laughs while reading this thread.
RULES :-
1) Don't flame anyone by severly criticizing his/her mistake.
2) Obey the rules of the site.
3) If your post count is below 10, please don't post here.
I'll start first. I posted an app on XDA which gives you access to paid apps. Obviously, my thread got deleted by zelendel (or was it Mikey?) and I got a PM from him. He didn't issue an infraction, though. The next PM came from Mikey titled "You've received a warning at XDA-Developers", and he DID issue an infraction. Then I read the rules, and realized my mistake. That's it.
Note to the Mods :-
1) I've searched for a similar thread but didn't find one, atleast not in OT.
2) Many might think that this thread's kinda similar to "Confessions...", but I'm sure you guys will understand that it's a LOT different from that.
Lastly, I hope I don't get criticized for creating this thread.
In my first post I asked ETA to a Rom, the dev of which had some disagreement with the community members.
Tensions were running high and my ETA was kinda the last straw..consequently I got my bum licked, both via pm and in thread.
I then removed my virtual self from XDA premises for a week or so.

I was beyond a noob, but it was still noobery. I posted a smartass comment about how all someone had to do was *gasp* search the very first page of the forum for the files he wanted, which were already within another thread. Surprise, surprise, I didn't look closely enough at the system version he was requesting. Funnily though the member who corrected me let me save face by not flaming me a new one after my idiocy. =D
Like the pro I am, I made most of my mistakes in another forum with similar rules...

Not trying to play Buzz Killington here but if you're not getting permission, could you please delete these ports? I fear that if we upset devs who are considering bringing their roms to Sprint, they may end up deciding not to.

Yes, he did receive permission to port this ROM.
WIVKED!!! Moved to a note 2 on sprint from a tmo sg3. Now just bought my wife an s4 with me and I am just have to give her mine. I missed the hell out of evil art and his boss a$$ rom! Thanks a million for the port. Can't wait for the awesomeness!!!

I understand. I did get permission to post this rom (as xcoNjA said) and evil1art said he was working on a Wicked rom that is capable of being flashed on all carriers. I didn't know ::indie:: was against his rom being ported, so from now on, I'll ask permission to port, just as I have with this one. All of my ports will now be with the devs permission.

The main reason software ships with bugs is that the testing size usually a tens to hundreds of people (usually internal to the manufacturer and/or the carrier). When software is released to everyone (thousands to millions) there are bound to be situations that the testers didn't have that cause problems (mainly caused by the nonsupported development community such as XDA and others). The general rule is to make something work and seems to be functioning in all the major categories and then filter new bug reports and patch them as they show up.
