Huawei Honor launching in India soon, to be priced at INR 19,990 - Huawei Ideos X6

Coming soon to Flipkart....
http://androidos.in/2012/03/huawei-honor-launching-in-india-soon-to-be-priced-at-inr-19990/

a price around 17k should be ok!!
Desire HD is more better @19k with more ram

Price not more than 16k should be ok i think. Just an overclocked processor with a better camera and screen and plus ICS. At about 21k XOLO would be a better choice.

Let's wait for Huawei Ascend Quad D XL

With the launch of Quad phones...the dual core prices have come crashing down...
LG Optimus 2X is available for lesser than 19 k....so this is definitely overpriced....
In 6 months all Quad Core Phones (Currently at 35k price range) should come down to mid 20's price range....
Good idea to be patient for now i guess...technology moving too fast in phones proccy market...

okay if u can wait around 1 or 2 months u can get
Oppo find 7( its better then S5) and way cheaper, not Oppo Find 7A, 7A is only has 2 gb ram and 7 has 3gb
LG G PRO 2, not LG G 2 its not the same G 2 hasno sd card unless u go for G2 mini and both have 2 Gb ram but G PRO 2 has 3 gb
either way s5 is nice but a chunky piece of hardware
Im waiting for Oppo Find 7 to be released

You seems from India. Do you know even what is a Chinese phone/mobile?. You need to distinguish between Chinese Mobiles on 2 terms :-
1. Mobiles made in China
2. Mobiles quality wise Chinese.
In first case, India has 99% mobiles made in China. Days of Finland, Russia or Germany is over. There is a slight low performance due to cheapness comparing to those countries manufacturing process, but it doesn't mean "Made in China" is not good. Samsung's Galaxy is also "Made in China".
2. Quality wise Chinese is what one should not buy. Here you are confused and interchanging the quality line.

Only Chinese phones are more prone to battery exploding, i saw many cases.
And the latest phones from Chinese Gionee, has very bad reviews on quality even on high-end phones

So you are one of them whose Nokia 5BL-C battery got exploded? Then dont buy any Mobile in India coz all of them are now made in China. From Samsung to Nokia, LG to Apple all, yes you heard it all are "Made in China". Fortunately, you have a last way. Get a flight to Saudi Arabia and buy mobile in zareer book store. They have products "Made in not China". Happy Hajj

Any guesses about price
Should be around 58 k
Well if they wanna stay and track and dont want their note 4 to face the same situation as S5.. They must price it for 42k max.. And a sd 805 is a must.. But exynos is better too
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Doesn't seem a much awaited upgrade to the note 3,Samsung could have thrown in all the hardware and really gone for the kill.Slight larger screen,64bit processor, larger battery,4gb ram,Metal and probably a new design.
If anything now they wanna do,is to keep the price around 45,000rs
Happy with Note 3.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using XDA app.
A5777, smartphone market is saturated enough, no oem can give big upgrades in a few months time, the phone already has metal and better design than previous versions, note 3 users may not find it substantial but for the rest of the world it's worth every penny. Hope they keep the price reasonable
Lets not blame nd find faults wid the SoC dis time... Lets b happy whateva version v get nd discuss how to improve the user experience in either of the versions...
Sme of the features of S-pen r quite useful coz thts wht a pen is supposed to do... Whereas the gimmicks on the fone continue... Ram needed to b upgraded...
well we getting a 64 bit SOC exynos with 4g LTE... this is what I have heard..
and yep exynos is better than SD always.. just cause of less samsung documentation and half baked sources exynos fails....
but for a normal user both the SOCs are awesome

There wasn’t much buzz about Samsung Galaxy
Note 4 in India except among geeks and rich
people. After all the Samsung Galaxy Note series
is usually very overpriced and there isn’t anything
very innovative about the phone to make it worth
its price. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is not too
different but it does seem to have some not so
useful yet very cool features that might just make
spending the humongous amount seem cool if not
worthwhile.
Samsung says that the Note 4 will be available
globally in October in four colours -- Black,
White, Pink and Gold. Sources within Samsung
said that India was likely to be among the first
countries where the Note 4 would go on sale.
For now there is no word on the price of the
device but we expect it to cost around Rs
50,000.

Did the Mate S replace the Mate 8?

I finally decided to ditch Samsung, after owning and using the Note 1 and then the Note 3. I was all set to upgrade to the Note 5, the biggest reason among many, is because they did not increase the screen size. I am tired of the "small" 5.7 inch screen, and wanted at least a 6 inch screen. After much research, I realized the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 was a very nice phone, but the rumored specs of the Mate 8 looked incredible. I was anxiously awaiting Huawei's press conference at IFA today, and with the phone they did announce, the Mate S having a 5.5 inch screen, that is going completely in the wrong direction for me. Totally have no interest in a small phone.
I am currently looking into the LeTV Le Max X900. This phone has pretty much all that I want/need. Fast processor, 4GB of ram, 2K display, and a screen bigger than 5.7 inches. The only major con, is the battery size, would of been nice if it had a 4,000+ mAh battery.
Huawei P8MAX?
that's exactly the same for me! Now I'm considering to buy the mate 7
I am a very happy user of a Mate 7, after LG G3 (broken screen after 2 month), and this is the best mobile I have ever used! Great display, good, crisp picture, fingerprint login works great, battery fantastic (my first phone ever going about 1.5,max 2 days with one charge - yes, I am a heavy user)!
Only con (not for me) maybe Kitkat. But, I had LP on my G3 (and Moto X) before, seen all the bugs of it, honestly don't miss it at all.
In short: mate 7 is great, go for it!!

I think Mate S is an after construction and the result of the delay of Kirrin 950 processor.
I think they are saving better camera and 2K display for Mate 8.
Mate 8 Will also most likely have an edged screen just like S6 edge, this also explains why they have now
starting to use amoled to prepare for future phones..
The weak battery is the biggest disappointment and idioticy with the Mate S.
That it have Amoled was the biggest surprise, amoled is to prefer but according to android authority it is not as bright as one would wish to be.

Just because it is Chinese company they must keep price down?
Don't you know that ANY business which starts from beginning their prices are always low to lure ppl then when business grows automatically prices grows?
Come on man this is procedure of EVERY business around for the world..
Why you not complaining how sky rocket prices has apple or Samsung..
Check out aliexpress or eBay there will be prices low quite fast..

Hi SC36DC,
Well, same career as you phone-wise that is, and on that same ditching point with both LeTV Max or Huawei P8 Max as possible alternatives.
BUT:
LeTV max suffers too much from thermal throttleing: reports are you can't even use it as navigation with car charger simultaniuously plugged in (what good is it to have a n-th core chip that has it's cores idle and their clock frequencies underclocked in order not to burn them; search Youtube for video's that let's LeTV Max perform 3 consecutive Antutu benchmarks on a row and how it's performance drops dramatically) and no native LTE band 20 (800 MHz) support.
Huawei P8 Max super screen and external SD card support but no native LTE band 20 support.
For the Qualcomm equipped LeTV Max, there seems to be a work around to add additional LTE frequency bands, but I haven't come accross a method for the Kirin chip set / P8 Max.
I am kinda hoping that, since the Mate S and P8 Max share the same chipset setup and the Mate S supporting almost every imaginable frequency band, it might be possible to flash the Mate S' modem onto a P8 Max...
If so, that would be the best phone I could imagine :fingers-crossed:
And since the rumoured Mate 8 only seems to support LTE band 1 / 3 / 7...
Which still makes me hesitate and on the look out for a method to add LTE bands to the P8 Max
Kind regards,

Oneplus 5 vs Nokia 8 vs LG G6

I can get the lg g6 for 400 euro, the oneplus 5 for 462 euro and the nokia 8 for 492 euro.
Which is better value for money ?
Hello,
LG G6 I didn't have it and tested but I can tell you about OnePlus5, I ordered and used for 2 weeks and I sent back because of poor wifi and mobile signal and also I wasn't sadisfy with picture quality.
Nokia is.... Nokia. I'm happy with my choice. Nokia 8 is great, moving faster as OnePlus5 ( 2GB RAM less is almost unvisible), battery keep the same as OnePlus5, signal on mobile and wifi on Nokia is much better.
Personal I suggest you Nokia 8. I don't know why OnePlus 5 is so promoted because is not better than Lenovo, Xiaomi and other pure China company's.
