AOKP b39 /all build - essentials mod - Captivate Themes and Apps

here is a mod pack made to be flashed after AOKP , any build.
it includes everything i consider essential to add / mod in this rom. including Gapps
==== Now Featuring the Universal Flasher Tool ====by JRsoft & Intronauta based in <VillainTheme System>
this amazing CWM script will apply xml and images to existing apks in the rom, instead of copying a whole apk over the existing one, this allows it to theme whatever version of the apk you have installed. making it *potentially* cross rom/cross device compatible (depending on its intended use). My pack is still only for AOKP. The theming portion of the script will skip any file not present. The script also allows addition of extra content of course, to add other files/apks. Anyone that has not seen this CWM script should definately check it out and read it, it includes a readme in the zip, a config file, and everything is ##commented so you have a very accurate description of what is going on and what you can tweak and edit. **there is also an option to create a backup to undo any changes when you flash the script. i have it disabled, as why would you want to remove google apps? very amazing stuff.

How do you remove the date from the status bar? It's pretty cool, but gets annoying when notifications and other icons appear under it

you go back to stock systemUI.apk... or you clear the crap out of your notification bar...
i cannot live without the date up there now. however to save space i use the battery line, and remove the battery icon, and move the time to the center.

flashed AOKP b30 this afternoon, been reinstalling apps, settings, and just saw this
You mention to be flashed right after installing the ROM...so would "not" be good to do it at this point since I've reinstalled all my apps, settings?
Thanks

Source to merge this mod in a CM7 ROM as an option github for Rom cooks
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just got merged..
If you want to get rid of the indicators -> PulldownMod_Indicators.zip
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Statusbar PulldownMod for CM7 - HDPI works for nightlies after 3/24/2011 7:15am EST!!
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.7L.zip
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.7F.zip
Statusbar PulldownMod for CM7 - HDPI for RC2
As my power widget icons have been merged to cm7 already, I took them out of the morph
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.6F.zip
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.6L.zip
Statusbar PulldownMod for CM7 - HDPI works for nightlies after CM7 RC1 > #5 when Wimax been added!!
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.5L.zip
- PulldownMod_HDPI_v1.5F.zip
ATTENTION :
- if you use my CyanbreadX, GreybreadX theme, or any other great t-mo theme out there, delete all stuff (png´s & xml´s) in all folders in the zip -> except: SystemUI/res/layout/.... !! As the themes got all you need already
- if you want MDPI version, just take the icons from PulldownMod_MDPI.zip and put it in.
Important: All layout edits are in SystemUI. If you dont want any other stuff, just take it out
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Statusbar PulldownMod for CM7 - HDPI + MDPI works till CM7 RC1 !!
- PulldownMod.zip (for HDPI)
- PulldownMod_MDPI.zip
Update: PulldownMod_MDPI version added by @aikon96 (ported all png´s) Thanx!
- revamped
- moved carrier name, added 3D text
- moved & edited clear button, added 3D text
- ongoing notification, fm.radio, download status text is white
- new icons
- new scrolling bar
- Included are Gingerbread styled icons:
How to:
- move "PulldownMod.zip" in /sdcard/...
- apply with MetaMorph and Nandroid before!
- you will get FC when applying SystemUI folder -> just reboot and all is fine
- it´s tested on Nexus One, so if it works 100% on other phones, let me know!!
- good thing is: what ever tmo-theme you apply, the PulldownMod should stay
- you can use this after every nightly but: if CM7 will get an update (probably it will get battery% in statusbar), I will have to update this, so stay tuned - *my Twitter*
.
-> Some notes where it works. (User experience - confirmed)
- LeoGingerBread
- Nexus S
- G2
- EVO
- Desire
- Incredible
- myTouch 4G
.
Those Morphs are outdated (exepct SysMonitor.apk ), but:
I´ll keep this here for some time, as some like cyan icons...dont apply it, just grab some icons, or backgrounds if you like before I remove it...
I.) NotificationPowerWidget & more... - CyanShadow for CyanogenMod 7.x
- GB_morphX.zip
- includes much more than previous for CM 6.1x and as I dont wanna do a thread for each single morph, I just share my crurrent settings..
- it´s not a complete CyanTheme, like this one.
- jog-dial, slider, battery, new bigger 3G/H..., WiFi, contact picture, dark bars, cyan overscroll shadow, progress bar.. (thanks to @Haxzamatic + @fitsnugly, took some png´s from you!)
- pulldown menu mod: moved "carrier name & clear button" in pulldown menu !!!!
- GB_morphXX.zip
- 2nd version Difference:
- removed carrier name (as it is anyway on the lockscreen)
- new clear button is at the bottom left and you can always scroll down.
II.) NotificationPowerWidget - CyanShadow for CyanogenMod 6.1x
- SysMonitor.apk
- NotificationPowerWidget_CyanShadow.zip
I could not wait ....so here my morph.
This works only on CM 6.1!!
Update..
One can use that on lots of backgrounds, not blurry and cyan means "ON"
Apply with MetaMorph
************************
For those who ask about the ongoing sys info:
It´s SysMonitor from the Market, get it there or download here a themed version.(I removed some white background)
.

Cool, CM seems more alluring to MIUI defectors now
Are the device statuses (memory, battery etc) standard?
Will go back once CM6 has apps2sdext and the battery life that MIUI has. (12 hours ->30%, CM6 used to reach 30% in 6 hours)

[custom update] JARubiX for the DroidX - rubiX 1.6 tweaked 11/04

This is not an official release by anyone associated with rubiX.. This is an update I simply put together for myself that I thought everyone would like.
First and foremost I want to thank drod2169 for giving us such a wonderful ROM without it this update wouldn't exist...
This update is for rubiX 1.6 and rubiX 1.6 only. If you install this update on any other ROM it can and probably will break your phone.
Disclaimer... I take not responsibility for what you or this update does to your phone, use at your own risk...
This update includes:
- The lowmemorykiller mod - No longer included, as it was implemented in Rubix 1.6
- Hosts file mod
- rounded corners on the status-bar (cause thats how I like it ) - No longer included, as it was implemented in Rubix 1.6
- updated the Car Home with the new one released by Google that allows customization - Note - after installing this your carhome app will be hidden unless you dock your phone in the car dock.
- The AOSP Keyboard is included - No longer included, as it was implemented in Rubix 1.6
- The updated AOSP Camera with both 8 Mp and 720p - No longer included, as it was implemented in Rubix 1.6
- updated music app to the one used in CyanogenMod - (credit to Cyanogen)
- updated the setting.apk with a transparent Power Control widget - (credit me)
- updated the music.apk with a transparent widget - (credit me)
- updated the news and weather apk with a transparent widget - (credit me)
- added the R2D2 notification ringtone from FlyX (cause I use and love it) - credit to mrbirdman
- Nexus One boot Animation. No longer included
- updated to include a Black Google Voice - (credit me) - If you want to install this you will need to navigate to your /sdcard/JARubix folder and manually install it.
- updated to include a Black Google Talk - (Credit me)
On both the Black GVoice an the Black GTalk I did use "thebowers" "Black N Bold" talk.apk to assist me in making the changes needed..... so I want to make sure I give him credit too!
New in 0.2
- Battery now works in 10% increments.. - (Credit me) - See last screenshot (notice the 70%) No longer included, as it was implemented in Rubix 1.6
New in 0.3
- Fixed a bug where if you are coming from Rubix + a black bar theme - JARubix would not change the clock color to match the vanilla theme
New in 0.4
Updated to support RubiX 1.6
New in 0.5
Small tweaks to the Black Google Talk - Credit me and also Jack_R1
Small tweaks to the Black Google Voice - Credit me
Added the reboot option from Fission - Credit AngDroid - Notice you will need to reinstall the bootstrap after this to avoid booting into recovery on every reboot.
Themes
If you install Rubix themes on this update you will lose the ability to get battery updates in 10% increments!!!
To help in the mean time I have ported my black status bar theme from Fission... Much of this theme was taken from TranQ 3.8 Black so I want to make sure I give credit to P3Droid for his work...
Black Status-Bar Theme
I would also like to thank theecho, who is now hosting this Update

Black Status Bar
Oh... and "Yes" the Black GTalk and GVoice will work on any 2.2 ROM but the GTalk will need to be installed via an update or through adb push....
Updated with 10% increments for the battery in the status-bar
so this is an update not a full rom right//?
How did you do the battery? If I meta morphed a icon that supported 10% readings will it still work?

Great rom jellete and einherjar! Just wondering, is it possible to change the settings menu look, something that is different from the standard lists (as in miui-ish)?

With the exception of the statement in the OP about where Flagship will be going and a few minor tweaks, you can consider this a final build - Themers can have at it and improve it as they see fit though.
downloading now......lets give it a whirl. ;-)
edit:
flashed without a hitch. seems stable and swift. i did a couple linpacks(9-10 before voodoo, 11-13 with voodoo) and quadrants (900-1100 before voodoo, 1200-1400 with voodoo) out of habit.
the overall feel is desirable translucent pulldown bar, bloatware removed. nice build.
Thanks Jellette! Did you get the donation?

Great rom jellete...looks sexy.. One thing I notice is the sub menu still has black text. Guess theres another xml to change to invert text color
Do we need to disable voodoo?

Custom? :/
What's different between this one and the Update 2 you released yesterday?
looks good, a couple things before i flash, does anyone know if restoring a nandroid restores my aps?? i cant remember because i always flash with out backup
also at the top of the notification bar with the vibrate, rotation, etc, keys you should expand the glow box so it doesnt have a square shape and cut of the glow
and another thing, since you dont have a back ground to the notification pulldown does all the text match, i think in another rom market downloads came up with black text on the black pulldown, just something that bothers me
looks good though

[Theme] [AOSP] Honeycomb - Lense Lockscreen Added (5 Locks) [v1.5] [3/28]

Installation
This is a full aosp build and not just a theme. It is compiled from jt1134's source and is essentially a themed version of his vanilla froyo with a couple of additional mods by me (i.e. 5 locks, vvm providers, etc). It should go without saying that this is not a theme for eb01/tw based roms.
As far as installation is concerned....If you are already running aosp there should be no reason to wipe. Flash rom then flash themed google apps package below. If you are coming from a touchwiz based rom you should follow standard procedure. Wipe data/cache, flash rom, flash one of jt's kernels from here, and flash themed google apps package below.
Now that we have that out of the way, how bout some screenies.....

Features
- All the goodies from jt1134's aosp build
- Stock honeycomb ui that get's about as close to the real thing as possible (all the way down to the horizontal progress bars).
- All stock apps, app icons, and widgets have been themed to replicate the look of honeycomb.
- Toggle tab, rotary, 4tab, and rotary revamped lockscreens at your convenience in Spareparts.
- Options to hide directional arrows & unlock by pulling down on rotary lockscreen.
- Toggle visual voicemail provider defaults via call settings.
Update v1.5 3/28/11
- added Lense lockscreen and a better version of rotary revamped. This now gives the user 5 lockscreen options (tab, rotary, 4tab, rotary revamped, & lense). <--- cm code
- a few more updates to SpareParts to disable features depending on state of the lockscreen.
Update v1.4 3/25/11
- added 4tab and rotary revamped lockscreen options (cm code). These are toggled by choosing the custom app starter via SpareParts (see pic below).
- added options to hide rotary directional arrows & unlock by pulling down on rotary style (cm code).
- above options are configurable via SpareParts. Pic ----> http://db.tt/ClalMxp
- cleaned up the look of SpareParts to remove some of the clutter and tidy things up a bit.
- Few more minor image changes in framework-res.
Update v1.3 3/18/11
- updated with the latest features of jt1134's 0.9.3 build.
- added configurable visual voicemail providers option in call settings. Pic ------> https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10166395/snap20110321_110901.png . This strayed a bit from jt1134's approach, but he deserves a lot of credit for his gvm commits in contacts.apk which gave me a head start for adding the others.
- updated themed gapps with latest versions. removed themed facebook and twitter because they are updated every couple of weeks with newer versions. It's not worth it for me to try to keep them updated with themed versions.
- unblackedout the notification ticker in the statusbar as requested by several peeps.
- a couple more image changes in framework-res.apk.
Update v1.2 3/16/11
- resyned with jt's repo to include the new features of his 0.9.2 build (i.e. haptic feedback, etc.)
- remapped the voicemail button to default to google voicemail. This is now included in the build. Added optional download for anyone who would like to keep the stock configuration for some reason (*89).
Update v1.1 3/15/11
-added rotary answer phone.apk for those that may prefer it. adb push to /system/app or move to the directory with a file manager. also added the honeycomb ic_jog images that i forgot to include.
-fixed up a couple of app widgets that needed different font colors for legibility.
Credits
- jt1134 for the awesome aosp build and a lot of assistance/advice.
- omj for inspiring me to theme from source.
- haxzamatic for alot of the images. Most, whether they know it or not, are indebted to him for his initial port of the honeycomb theme found here.

This may be a noob question, but could I flash the apps file or at least pull some of the apks out to use on SC2.9?
Thanks.

Flashing the gapps zip caused problems for me last time I switched from AOSP 0.8.1 to SC2.9. Here's the procedure I recommend:
1. Copy gapps0312.zip to your SD card's download folder using a root-enabled file manager
2. Download Dual File Manager from the market (it doesn't appear to be root-enabled, hence the first step).
3. Open gapps0312 in Dual File Manager (no need to unzip - Dual File Manager will treat the zip file as a folder).
4. Go to system/apps/ (the one in the zip file, not the one on your phone ;-))
5. Select the apps you want to install. Dual File Manager will automatically try to install it.
6. If the app works on SC2.9, the "open" button will be enabled on the "installation complete" screen.

Try that or try wiping cache. It's probably a user related error. You followed the directions in the begining of the OP, right?

Ah... didn't do a full wipe coming from superclean. I'll do that soon.
Thanks guys!!

Thanks for your work!

I noticed you used the old data bars but new wifi and battery, any reason for that?
I didn't like the way the new data bars so closely resemble the wifi bars. I like to be able to tell them apart. If I get enough requests I will gladly change them out, though.

Good Job Iaio , etoy theme is awesome !!!
thanks guys!
If status bar it's not visible, reboot in recovery and fix permission then reboot !!!
I know, but to do before i decided to edit in zip folder, the statusbar, for not have fc!
I really like the design of the ROM.. no bugs?
>>> I can't read notifications in the status bar..
The ROM is pretty ok, but:
-Launcher2 - long holding the app over the bin does not show up the Uninstall option
-Google Talk - has GoogleMessagingServices hardcoded into Google Services and i wasn't able to uninstall it
-the launcher is rigid and uncustomizeable (there are better versions of ADW)
-lost Wi-Fi once for no apparent reason
Otherwise, i liked the theme, ICS keyboard and font and the fact that you integrated a good kernel.

Sorry, i dont understand why i should do it, i mean... i always have pin code on... and it's normal to insert it just once (when i boot the phone) while it's strange that it asks for it again while the mobile phone is already on and i already wrote it when i booted it... I just wanted to tell you that i noticed this "problem" so that maybe you could have fixed it.
Update:
I solved it by installing the back up version i did with titanium back up (version 2.1.1.219805)
My friend. That problem is called radio dump.
