[ACS][ROM][4.0.4 NS 3G][GSM] Pool Party V2.0 5/19/12 - Nexus S Android Development

DREAMSFORGOTTEN
AND ANDROID CREATIVE SYNDICATE PRESENT
Direct Port of TSM Pool Party V 2.0

I give you TSM Pool Part v.5 ICS 4.0.4 for the Nexus S GSM. Pool Party began with Sbrissen (xda/rootzwiki) a Samsung Fascinate developer that ported every single SGS style lockscreen into one convenient package. At the time, his work was called TeamSbrissenMod Lockscreens. After perfecting the control app TSMParts.apk and adding in some status bar GUI love and a few other system wide options, he packed it into what was called Pool Party. The rom was released on the Facsinate, ported to the Epic in GB by Maddoggin and ported to the NS4G as well as the Nexus S by myself (Dreamsforgotten). Since GB, Sbrissen has been churning out work (I believe for CM9 ICS) on the Fascinate and has stopped production of Pool Party. I put this together for everyone to continue to enjoy the Pool Party Line of Roms.
Android:Source = IMM76D ICS 4.0.4 using Peter Alfonso's Bugless Beast as a base
Androidlatform = Ubuntu Linux 12.04
Android:Kernel = Stock I highly recommend Mathkid Matr1x 18.5
Sbrissen's Official Thread can be found here: http://rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?2670-ROM-8-24-TSMPoolParty-V1.2-2.3.5&
Please stop by and thank Scott for everything without which this would never be possible.
This ROM is built from Peter Alfonso's Bugless Beast repo as a source. The features in the ROM are a colaboration of TSMPool Party code via Sbrissen, CM9 source, and AOKP source. The control app is 100% work of Sbrissen and I re wrote the app to speak to the new variables in ICS that changed since GB (which was a **** ton!)

So far I find your rom is pretty fast very snappy and responsive. No bugs since flash the only thing I did find is when I choose a different ringtone or notification sounds the cancel and OK buttons disappear but I can still click it and it works . Love it so far it's a keeper
Again thanks bedtime for me, I'll give you more info tomorrow!!!

All Htc skins work for this rom
Skins are the best way to change the look of a stock rom
because you can always go back and they have less issues than
most themes.
I will make some Skins in the near future but for now there are tons of them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801928 (credits to designers)

720p video recording has issues ( like all z roms)
internal storage doesnt mount (i like it like that but i will fix at some point)

please let me know what issues you find. thanks

Super-Z Standard V2.0 (Full Rom)
Super-Z Standard V1.1 (Full Rom)
If you want to try my other Rom that is based off Super-Z Standard but has some add-ons.
try Super-Z Enhanced. It is a beta rom and will remain that way until its stable enough for everyday use. It is just an enhanced version of Super-Z standard but not as stable.
Get the Super-Z Enhanced Beta rom ........HERE
Please Donate if you like my work and help me keep developing ... Thanks

its pretty much the same
its just a stock z rom but
i did a bunch of speed tweaks and didnt add anything extra
like rotating rosie and e reader.
i did add a few apps that should be standard with all roms anyway.
i may add ereader in this one but not sure yet
because kobo is free and has more options
but no widget so im not sure.
xda
astro
car home
spare parts
ect...

[CM7 Theme] BluMagic/RedMagic Updated 02\01\12

Hello Everyone
This is something I threw together for myself and have put many hours into. I have decided to share it with everyone here on XDA! Please let me know what you think of it! I take no credit for the majority of images found in this theme! I have gathered the images from across the web and XDA . I just put them in the order I like them to be in. Also I did edit most of the images to match the color of the theme better. There are lots of images in this theme. So many I can't remember where they all came from. Much thanks goes out to everyone for doing a great job on these themes! If you find your work in this theme and would like credit or for me to remove it please PM me. I will give credit where credit is due.
A big thanks goes out to MrDSL for setting me up with a great base for this apk and for getting all of my xml edits working properly! Thanks bro!

This theme uses quite a few images from Steel Blue. Team Carbon has done a great job on a Theme Chooser theme for CM7. They even have multiple colors found in the market.
The Animations I used along with YouTube videos found here. They are the Bounce, Flip, Flying, Fold and some new ones from the meXdroidMod Team. I mixed them all together to create a unique blend. So they will be different then what is shown in the link above.
Hope everyone enjoys this! I have put a lot of hours into this theme to get it to the point its at now. Please don't foget to hit the Thanks button!

Font Packs
The font in the Screenshots is attached below. I got it from here. Thanks to fachadick. He has created some great fonts! Take a look around and find one you like.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801160
Alternate Bootanimations
I have attached several bootanimations at the bottom. Including the one used in this theme Blue Android. I have found these through out other threads and just wanted to share them. Download from below and just Flash via Recovery thats it.
Docks and Icons
I have also attached the dock and icons used in this theme. They are in a non-flashable zip. DO NOT Flash it through Recovery. You must unzip it and extract the images to your SD Card using a File Manager(Market). You must have ADW EX or Launcher Pro to use the docks and you can apply them through settings. For the icons ADW EX has a custom shortcut built in. So you can use that to change the icon on ADW EX. If you use Launcher Pro you will need Desktop VisualizeR(Market) to apply the icons. These are just like any other Icon Packs found on XDA so there are lots of guides around
Hope everyone enjoys everything and if you need any help just ask.
This is pretty beast dude

Everything in the Screenshots should already be there. Are you referring to the clock in the status bar? That will only show up if you have an alarm set.
I'm searching for a new battery icon as we speak. Hopefully I can find one that looks good when the battery percentage tweek is applied. The current one turns white :/
Other than that is there anything you don't like? I'm not sure if I like the dots for the signal bars anymore. I would like to know if you want to keep them?
Have you noticed any errors?
Edit: I've decided to wait for more feedback till I update the theme. I'll probably make one for RC2 also since it doesn't seem many people have tried it.

Thanks I put some time into picking images from all around the web.
You could be right on the transition. I tried something a little different on that animation. I can make it faster on the next release. I'll take out the bounce. Then it won't seem to lag.

[THEME][CM9][Beta 1 KGBlues w/battery circle and center clock option

Here is a theme I threw together with blue overscroll, fly in window transitions on the apps that support it, normal blue signal bars, round blue circle battery mod and a few other things here and there. Hope you like it.
Make a Nandroid backup before flashing ANYTHING.
A5 is for Alpha 5 with dropdown toggle mods. B0 is for Beta 0. B1 is for Beta 1 and B1=centerclock
Big thanks to Shane6374 for his tutorial to move the clock to the center on the status bar. This is available for Beta 1 below.
Thanks go to Big Goron for getting rid of most of those yellow selection boxes.
For Inverted apps flash Gooch's theme then mine over it and thank Gooch1025
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501786
I highly recommend doing the above method. I tried to make a flashable of just the apps but it killed my dialer.
Inverted Apps: Thanks to Big Goron for the MMS app, and big thanks to Gooch1025 for all the rest of the inverted apps in his theme.

Definitely go back to stock then backup and restore will work again.
To get center clock I could try to use Shane's systemui in UOT and see what comes out. I will mess with it this week.

Thanks man! I foresee us doing more theme work together in the future for sure.
If you restore a nandroid and get stuck at the boot ani, pull the battery, boot into CWM, flash Alpha 3, make sure it boots, then flash the theme again. I did this with no wipes and everything works.
Its awesome to see you 2 working on stuff. Pretty much all the little things I wish I had on cm9.....you guys want also, but get it/make it yourselves. I like that launcher/background, and the other signal bars/bonsai style battery %. So ya thanks. Keep up the awesome work

Noticed today my text notification ringtone wasn't working.... Lookd at all the settings seem to be normal. Only thing i changed from yesterday was flashing this theme. Sooo I've reflashed CM9 and see if it happens again. Waiting on my wife to text me back.....
Who knows probably just a freak occurrence but figure I'd post here first instead of the CM9 thread.

Cool...CM9 is soooooo sensitive so was concerned. I have tried to figure out this nandroid issue and tired of backing up and restoring after cooking themes. So my posted solution will have to hold for now. Maybe when they port the them manager into the ROM it will work better.
I flashed this yesterday - like what I see very much - thank you by the way - but just realized that when I flashed it, I forgot to Mount System first - and the thing is, it worked fine - or at least it appears to be. I am not suggesting for anyone to try this - I probably just got lucky - but wondered what happens if you don't mount system before Flashing?

It just doesn't flash then. It is like writing with no ink..lol. there just is no error message to say it couldn't write to system. So your system must have been writeable already.

Seems really strange - I just went into my SD Card (Booted into recovery) like I was going to flash it for the first time again - I can see where it says "mount system" - it seems strange to me that I wouldn't have had to do this yesterday when I flshed - but I will take your word for it that it must have somehow done it on its own - LOL - I realize I am a bit challened technically - but I can usually figure these things out - it just seems kind of weird that it did flash ok without mounting system first - oh well, it is working fine - which is all I really care about. Thanks again for the nice work - looks great on my pohne and I like the animations.
I haven't mounted system ever on a cm9 when flashing either this theme or shanes. I just flash and go....

FEATURES
Themed Framework
Themed Custom App Drawer Icons
Themed / Inverted System Apps & G-Apps
Galaxy Nexus Pro Boot Animation
* Google Talk, Contacts, & Settings are not yet themed in the Slim ICS Version. Will update asap.
If you like the stock ICS theme, but hate that it seems unfinished, you will love this one. Everything that should be ICS Blue is now themed. The inversions mixed with ICS Blue looks very clean & sharp.
*Note: Due to the fact there users are flashing various versions of the Google Apps, you may experience some bugs, like apps not showing up after flashing. This theme was built on Apps from kejar31's G-Apps package. If you are using those G-Apps, you should be good to go.
Thanks & Credits

Feel free to kang anything you find here or in my wallpaper gallery. Just be sure to give credit if you use something. Android is meant to be open, & I see way too many people getting bent out of shape over someone using something they did. I fell flattered if someone thinks something I've done is good enough to re-use. We should be focused on helping each other & giving back to the community, not becoming e-famous. You will NEVER see anything I do come with a disclaimer like "DO NOT REUSE MY IMAGES, THEY ARE LICENSED". My Android projects are made for me & to share with others, so if you find something you like, feel free to use it & spread it around. ~ Thanks

Sorry my friend, that wallpaper is via WJD Zone app in the Android Market, which pulls the wallpapers from WJD Designs server. I would share it if I could, but I don't have the image to share. The app is nice, & gives you access to lots of his walls & docks. He sent the app to me to test for an article I was writing on My Droid World, but it is only $1.50 I think.
*EDIT
I made this one for you, it's along the same line.

Just wanna say this is a really great simple theme. Really like it. I did flash over 0.7.8 & only flaw ive noticed so far is the keyboard in sms isnt themed, just incase anyone asks if it will work. Other than that, this is great! Keep up the good work
EDIT: ok i think i found out my problem. Just installed this theme on another phone running gummy 0.7.2 & *POOF* the themed keyboards there lol So im guessing this is for 7.7 and prior instead of the later i thought he meant when it says "7.7 & up"....derp
Looks great! I'm using it. I wish Gmail and market could be have a themed icon. And the keyboard of course isn't themed.

Yeah its not, but odd thing is i actually flashed 7.7, and all i got was force close on talk, gmail, market continued to have no connection, i even restarted, cleared cache, but everything was themed including the keyboard. I'm not sure, I flashed 7.8 with the theme and it all works fine except, Gmail isn't themed, and the keyboard isnt either. I'm definitely excited for further improvements. I'll totally test if necessary!
-John
p.s- to the op, it would help maybe including a link to the proper gapps, cause i'm not sure if people have the right one, and including myself.
The keyboard IS themed, you need to go to settings/language&input & change the keboard (you will now have 2 installed)
As I stated in the OP, Gapps has been changed 4 times now for this ROM, & then people are flashing other versions also, there is no way I can theme for every possible configuration. As you can see in the screenshots, it worked great for me.
Hopefully kejar will stick to these gapps for a while, & I can get a theme update that will work for everyone.
Thanks guys!

Added Support
Just added a version to the OP for those of you who use the Slim ICS ROM. Google Talk, Contacts, & Settings are not themed yet in this version,
Well maybe more luck here. Aksed the question in the crespo thread twice but nobody seems to feel the urge to answer .. I see people talking about 0.7.8 , but it can not be found anywhere .. A week ago mpobile sensei said the release was borked for crespo and there would be a recompile and upload soon .. Well I have never seen it since then .. So where did it go ??
Mobile please answer us.

Hello Mobile you go to the next but all of us don't see the keyboard lets see yours?
also the screen when a call comes in the answer slide button is barely visible.
Mobile thank you for everything you do and I know you are busy. Could you point to the keyboard apk you say is in this new theme for all of us.
Will this theme work on gummy 0.8 which was released for the crespo today ?

Factory reset will delete your personal files. Go to advanced wipe in TWRP and wipe /system, /data, /cache, and /dalvik before flashing a new ROM. Wiping the data partition this way preserves /data/media which is your sdcard0.
