If you overclocked it you are on the wrong thread mate.
There's no support for overclock on Arco's kernel

What do you mean with "deap sleep"??
Your phone shuts down by itself?
It isn't normal to set the min frequency to 700MHz..

I recommend you start from fresh again. Install the rom, then wipe cache and data before reboot. And don't set minimum frequency to 700MHz, as that will keep the phone running at that frequency while it's at sleep, effectively causing battery drain. Also if you restore apps after installing CM9, only restore the apps itself and *not* apps settings. That can cause all sorts of problems.

Does anyone know why the email app generates a force close?

I think i've read in the other thread that you have to set up an account first.
Instead of the email app you could use gmail.

ROM MOD Help?

Can anyone show me how to add The "Hold Back Button To Kill App" feature in any ROM?
The feature is available in CM7 and Zeus, and find it really useful to kill non responding apps/ or to close apps quickly!
I am now planning to switch to Nemesis X, and would like to add this feature before i flash it. i am currently on Boypes Modded CM7, and its really buggy for me, but this feature is there.
Someone please show me what i should do in order to get it working? The NemX thread is closed, btw.
And i dont care if there is no setting to turn this feature on/off. i want it to always be on anyway.
Thanks
Maybe you can try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30316300&postcount=10
It's for SGS3 but with (or maybe without) modifications it can work...
I'm a total noob I'll attach the files, can anyone do it for me? Please?

What set of tweaks do you use?

Hi all. I want to tweak my custom rom and want to know what tweaks are out there in the community, which work on our phones, and which are the best
Also links would be great.
We could use this thread also for information about tweaks.

I use greenify works great, I use seeder in my brother L7, but how in s3 mini?.
Enviado desde mi GT-I8190N usando Tapatalk 2
Greenify to stop Facebook from draining battery, GoldenKernel for ondemandq governor, SystemUI.apk and some other files from BenzRom V6 for customizable quick toggles, Titanium Backup for removing useless system apps, Xposed Tweakbox for ability to skip tracks with volume rocker when screen is off.
That would be it for now.
Will check out Tasker and Seeder later on.

For me, it was the same. Fist extract the zip directly in the download folder. Then take the already extracted install folder to the root of your sd card.

You need to extract those files from Benz ROM V6 and push it to your phone with adb or root explorer, don't forget to change permissions to 644. PM me for more detailed description.

- Test 1 = zImage-dtb
- Test 2 = zImage
Whats the difference?
New test builds if anyones interested.

zImage-dtb is the new kernel Image that has the device tree blobs(dtb) unlike the traditional zImage, it only builds with the stock config, etc.

As it has no Aroma or installer, you can use TricksterMOD / Kernel tweaker/ KControl or FauxClock from the playstore to tune the settings for this.
Here's a new link to the test kernels

Try them all and see if it boots, one is in anykernel format.

Alright, I started from scratch and removed some commits, lets see if this works. If it does I'll add some features one at a time.
Edit:
Added 4 zips to test, Leave feedback if it does boot or not.
One maybe stupid question. If the device did not boot with this kernel, how can i make it boot again without having the original kernel to install? I would like to test but i must have the way back to make the device working.

You need to reflash the stock kernel. Wait I'll upload a stock kernel for G900F
Edit:
Sorry can't find one, just reflash your ROM if you can, or do a backup first then if it fails just flash your back up and you'll be fine.
