Once in a while I go into Samsung Apps to see what apps are available but everytime i try to launch the app it just sits there loading. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

Stop market app from self updating?

Is there a way from preventing the market silent/self updating to new version? I kind of prefer the cleaner old version.

Me too. My Market updated and now it's force closing every time I open it or try to update something. Any help?
Running CyanogenMod 7 in a P1000L
go into settings, applications, manage applications, all, market and uninstall updates. as far as preventing it from automatically updating, you'd have to use a program to freeze the market updater app.

Way to force market to update system apps?

Hi there,
yesterday I had to manually update Adobe Flash for using it along Opera Browser since for stine reason it wasn't working with the stock Flash player included in the system.
Surprisingly Market was showing it as an update when I searched for it, but it wasn't notifying me for the update for some reason, and the same happens for SuperUser, when I search for it its shown like an update, but it isn't notified as one.
Its there any way to force Market to update the apps contained in /system?

2. Go to My Apps
3. Tick: allow autoamtic updates on the apk's you want.

That's the problem, apps like Adobe Flash or SuperUser aren't listed in the "My Apps" section of Market and until I do manually search for those apps I don't know if there are updates or not.

Have you tried titanium backup? I think market doctor from main menu may help.

Its possible, then apply advice from above post.
If still will not work, then you have to go to each app individually.
For example, whn you will manually go to superuser on market, you shall still see options 9if no update is available): Open, uninstalll, and below: allow automated updates.

If these apps are not listed in "My Apps" you have to install them one time manually from the android market than they will be there in "My Apps" and you will get the update notifications..
If you install apps from other sources and not via market, they wont get listed in "My Apps" and you wont get update-notifications..
LOL I'm the opposite of OP right now. All my apps that are waiting to be upgraded would be infected with Airpush spam if I decided to upgrade them in the market...

Succeeded to uninstall but can't reinstall from market throw me another error message. And sometimes market can't connect too
Strange, no problems for me to install Google Search by first uninstall it with TB, and rebooting and installing from market...
Also with TB you can long press on Google Search and convert to system app to get the long press on menu key option to work again...

Regarding the market, boot after the update and notice that instead of market you should have play store in the app list. If there is something wrong with your gallery apk you could try flashing gapps.
