Marketplace link for an ads-free, paid version
Ads-free, paid ($0.99) version of VoiceTranslator+ is on the marketplace. Application functionality is the same as free version of VoiceTranslator; but "plus" version has plus one more feature
You do not need to type (but app already has ability), just press screen or camera button and say something - all power of Google's speech-to-text and text-to-speech APIs at your service.
If you found a bug or have feature request, please post it here
New in version 1.4 (free version 1.4 will be available as soon as Microsoft will certify the app): now you may use camera button instead of screen button (more space for input and translation text boxes). Also app is loading a little bit faster now.

Hello, is available the Spanish language?

Uhh why not just use Google translate?

Also in Dutch?

good to use the Microsoft API
I will check it out..
Google translate for Chinese has gone own hill..
for some reason the translations are crap..
also as they limit their API usage..we need more hooking into the bing translator

GRemote Pro (BETA) - use your phone as joystick to PC!!!

GRemote Pro goes to Android Market. This is first public BETA release so you can find some bugs, but we will fix it if you tell as. It has some extra futures comparing to Windows mobile client. You can download GRemote Pro server directly form your Android phone to SD card (recommended), and toggle WiFi state - useful if you forgot about this before you open GRemote Pro. There are two known problems:
Enter key on default software keyboard doesn't work (you can use trackball as alternative)
This version hasn't been tested with G1 and hardware keyboard so please tell us if you have some problems with this. Have a nice testing and please report any problems found.
Video about Joystick feature.

More info about program and features on homepage: http://gbmsoftware.com
Best regards,
Marcin.

There is a really good app already in the market for free and does really good job GMote.
and they want to charge for this when there is already an amzing app like it already on the market. GMote is amazing, i really like the the touchpad feature. who needs a keyboard and a mouse anymore these days lol
GMote is really good program but don't have joystick extension and you can't change configuration. In GRemote Pro you can add profiles for your favourite applications, and switch them directly from phone. Read docs there is more about configuration and GRemote features.
Cheers,
Marcin.

[APP] Netfront Life Screen Launcher

Found this floating around the web & thought I'd share, they have a very interesting UI it's rather different.
A home app replacement with an easy-to-use interface that delivers previews of social network updates as well as phone services data. Pick a service, such as Facebook or Twitter, to see recent updates. Choose Call History or Contacts to call someone. Use the app launcher cube to quickly find any installed app and launch it.
Based around a single circle of icons, you can control every aspect of your phone with a single screen. Two to be exact The second of which is the screen that holds all your applications in a very slick cube design.

[APP] Arabic Keyboard

Hello everyone,
Here's an App I have created for WP7 Mango. It gives you the ability to write in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
This is a standalone app which means you'll need to switch to it every time you need to write in Arabic. However, thanks to Mango's fast switching capability which made the whole thing a lot easier.
App Name: ABJAD Keyboard

Hello XDA friends,
How many apps on Play Store that sync your notes with Google Task? Many!
But since I didn t feel confortable with any of them I decided to make mine, with an alternative Holo UI, that take inspiration from Google Now, Google Keep, and made it more intuitive.
The app is mainly designed to make you feel all the features in your hands, even using a smartphone (tested on my 4.3" Galaxy S2 display) and offer simultaneusly 2 type of navigation: dropdown (useful to skip from a list to another when number of lists is huge) and swype.
This app as stated before lets you sync your current task with Google Task, so everything is synced to every device you got, with your PC and tablet, android, iOS and Windows!
Isn t it great?
Support to Password, Reminders, Due Date, all your lists are available and you ll never lose a meeting anymore thanks to notification feature (expanded notification for android 4.1+ users).
A touch of color to help you highlight your actions, nice animations and a complete settings menu to customize your app, your sincs, your passwords, your notifications.
THIS IS NOT MY WORK BUT THE WORK OF Mirko ddd,JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE IT
Please visit Mirko ddd thread and click thanks

ooooooh thanks Wis!

How well does the new recorder / transcription app work?

Having a quick, portable voice transcription system would be a great help at work.
I work in the medical field and frequently need to transcribe medical terms like drug names and procedures (e.g. Xarelto and pancreaticoduodenectomy).
The "online" google assistant recognizes almost all the terms I use with no difficulty. I worry that the "built-in" recorder / transcription app may not have as robust a vocabulary. Anyone use the new recorder app and have success with obscure words? Any way to add uncommon words?
