MIUI 4.0 for LG Optimus Black
Hi guys, this is MIUI 4 based on the original port from johnnyperovvip. He leave this work to our team. With this ROM we have CM9, ICS and MIUI.
Requeriment:
- Root
- CWM
- The Zip file
Installation:
- Copy the zip to your sd card.
- Reboot into CWM recovery.
- If this is the first time you install this (came from different ROM) then make full wipe:
* Wipe data/factory reset
* Wipe cache
* Advanced / wipe dalvik cache
- Choose install zip from sdcard and find the zip you put in there
- Reboot phone and Enjoy.
What's working:
- Touchscreen (5 fingers) - Fixed by me.
- Bluetooth - Fixed by Flatzki. Not fixed already
- GSM in some operators - Fixed by Redy
- Physicall buttons - Initial released by omr, fixed by me.
- G button Recovery working - Feature from tantrums
- Brightness - Initial working
- SD Card - Initial working, fixed by omer. Not fixed already
- Gallery and Music Work
- Rotation sensor, compass
- Widgets
- Installing Apps
What's not working:
- Wifi
- Some gsm operators dont work
- Audio
- Camera
- Some sensor like proximity
- Pretty much everything else

It is partial working. But no real HW acceleration.

Sorry I will not buy another phone the Optimus Black is too great for that. & yeah don't blame me I didn't ask for any release at least... Seeing such an important thread not "moving" for 2 days worried me that's all :S But now that I got me answer I'm no more tomentored

Faux kernel is g2x only and some people don't like 3.0 kernel so i included the cm9 stock kernel if you want another you can simply flash it right =D

Fixed typo but i don't see the media fire problem
Mediafire -> choose rom -> (optional choose device) -> download
Hopto -> choose device -> choose rom -> download

gapps are required mate.....when u see a ROM with around 120Mb be sure you need gapps to be flashed,,,,,my way of looking though...except an update to a existing ROM

Just wanted to carry this from the previous thread. Linkinparkmetre suggested: "Power control to automatically switch to 2g when phone is off! I guess this was in some older aokp build."

i found a bug - the swype in native keyboard doesn't work. i can swype but no words are being put into the system. i can type but not swyping

This is by design, they offer slightly different functionality. I'm talking to Kon about options for packaging differently.

graphic is fine
but the battery life is horrible,you can even see the battery dropping from 100% to 90% less then ten minutes when you are surfing the net
and the camera seems not working on my phone(i am a int atrix user)

but i can't open any camera apps
every apps about camera will crash on my phone
All problems, present in the Leaked ICS, still present in this ROM.
I mean, there is laggy kernel. It is not useful.

- Rearrange the toggles

KNOWN BUGS
- Flashlight toggle will take some time to turn on then it will just turn off (I recommend you disable this.)
- 'Reboot into download mode' doesn't work on S5830i, it just does a normal reboot.

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Download the correct ZIP for your rom at the bottom on this thread. (Odexed or deodexed)
2) Put the zip file on your phones SD card
3) Reboot into recovery and then flash ClockWorkMod if needed.
4) Select: 'Choose zip from SD' then install the zip file you downloaded into your SD card.
5) Wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache.
6) Reboot and enjoy!
TROUBLESHOOTING
It installs but doesn't do anything! --> Download and install the deodex ZIP file and navigate to /system/app and manually delete SystemUI.odex using 'Root Browser' or a similar application.
When I connect my phone to my PC 'USB Connected' Doesn't show up! --> Make sure you follow ALL the steps and redo Step 5. Report back here with the results.

Did you use the file for odex roms or deodex? I want to help correct this issue.
EDIT: This is a known issue for the Lidroid 14 toggle mod but it works fine for me.
I used odex file everything was same only the usb notification was gone.

We need logs so everyone who knows how get them uppp
For the Users:
If the ported ROM is SVHD 1.7.5 or Smaller , you got Full Sense
If it is 2.0.0 or 2.1.0 you got Lite Sense
Nevertheless, SVHD is one of the best (if not the best) and most stable ROMs currently out there for the HTC DHD.
If the dev can port it well, you should have a lot of fun.
Maybe i will try it soon with my GF's Arc S and compare it to my DHD ^^

@Neurom707, you think its a cakewalk porting Sense to Xperia? How can you say might never boot? Commmon dude , help the dev with logs and stuff, make this thing boot or atlest encourage them rather than commenting like this.. No offense bro, buti hope you understood what i meant.. I have an eye on this as i am going to take this to Neo and Neo V.. We need your support guys..
