HD2 new battery - HD2 Accessories

Hi, i like to buy a new batery for replace when my is over. I look at ebay but i think some are "fake". if someone has already bought one that works well can you tell me?
Thanks

I have heard that best way to avoid "fake" is to neglect ebay or amazon and to scout for branded batteries - anker, mugen, seidio. I use mugen and advise you too, they may seem costy but they are actually twice cheaper. Not only the batteries last longer during the day, but also in general they last longer in terms of life cycle of the battery. Usually batteries have maximum 100 recharges and then start to day (like one year of use), while branded aftermarket batteries like mugen for instance can be recharged 400 times. Do not do ebay..

And how mutch you pay for?

I bought a golden battery on ebay ( 2430mha and same size as stock ).
I cannot see any improvement since it lasts as long as the original one ( 1300mha ).

Simply buy an Andida which costs about $8 shipped WorldWide from Obbostore or available from some online store & local mobile shops.
Gold batteries are complete fake junk & Mugen over priced ...
We have over 20 HD2 devices issued to staff & in their 3rd year of use, we issued Andida as spares & have had no issues with them to date, had issues with Momax & local no name brands ...
In no way am I saying Andida is superb but performance seems close/same to standard & at Hong Kong direct price we would be mad to pay HTC genuine prices with no real benefit ...

Hello Halsahaf
well, ~one year latter, can you feedback on your choice ?
Franck

well I have ordered Andida batteries from Vegacom.eu

Zerolemon do not do a battery for HD2.
Andida & the generic battery for HD2 are ok for price of say 5 to 7 USD & worldwide availability is a plus too.
Better more expensive option is a genuine or mugen if still available ...

So, after ~two weeks
Can''t see any real difference between originals old htc batteries and newer Andida.
My daughter stil needs everyday charging (3g, snapchat, always online,...)
Me, less heavy usage, from 1~2 days, now 2~3 days ok

Andida are ok for cheap price of around $5 like at vegacom & seem last ok (have some just over year old & still work ok)
Capacity is actually about 1130 to 1200mah which will be better than any very old well used original cell & very close to original standard capacity, main downside is no working temp sensors & a fixed resistor to fake a 25degC temp output :-S

It may be more expensive but it's a one-off purchase - I have bought an official SE one.
Performs identically to my nº 1 battery

hey, those cheapo batteries on ebay that are like $9, i assume you got one of those? does it allow the 1% battery meter to work?
thanks
matt
i got mine for 4 dollars. and yes, the 1% battery meters work. never had the red LED of death with it. a full charge lasts the whole day with heavy use.
but i'm not telling you to go out and buy one right now, just sharing my experience with fake/china batteries
original ou can fint on sonystyle but it hashigh price bout 90$
on amazon there are one it has about 44$ but I'm not sure that this will be originl.
if you have mone go and buy from sonystyle for 90$
also i have fake china battery
it works normal but qhen battery power bcomes under 50% it can turn off any time.
my girlfriend bought me an authentic original BST-41 from SE for the full price, so it obviously performs perfectly, but I really need a third battery (LOL). sometimes i'm using my phone ALL day, tempted to try one of these hong kong POSs now....
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260548004689
I bought this battery last week for $14.99 from a company in florida. It arrived in sealed sony ericsson packaging. It also looked identical to the orig bst-41 i was replacing. So far it is performing wonderfully.

Batteries for Optimus Black

I`ve just found this:
(can`t post link yet, so google it)
Mugen Power 3400mAh Extended Battery for LG Optimus Black P970 / DOCOMO LG Optimus Bright [HLI-P970XL]
Looks promising, capacity is more than double
Do you thik it will make phone thicker?
Yes, the phone will be thicker.
If you look at Mugen direktly (first hit on google) there will be extra shells shipped with the accu. If you close enough at the picture you will see a little pit at the camera spot. I assume it will be about 5 mm thicker or so.
Greetings

I really like the look of this extended battery. Since the phone is already so thin I don't think an extended battery will make as big of a difference as it does with other phones. My only issue is the $100 price tag. Hopefully there'll be more options by the time this phone hits the USA, specifically VMU.

There is a highly reputable, reliable and respected seller on ebay from whom I have bought many items (but not batteries). They are selling high capacity, japanese batteries for a reasonable price.
Go onto ebay and search for 'Gold 2430MAH battery optimus black'
I emailed them regarding the quality of the batteries and the price and basically their answer was that they have an excellent feedback score on almost all batteries they have sold and the price is good because they get it straight from the factory.
I have ordered a set and will report on it after some use

There are no miracles in that area, there's no physical possibility of having such a big capacity in such a small form.
This is more than 100% fake.
Waiting for your confirmation.

Here you can find users feedback about those batteries. All of them are fake. Higher capacity requires larger size so only Mugen batteries are not fake.
Where would you say is reliable to get a new battery then? To pay 30gbp for a mugen battery is too much I think

If you need new battery - buy original one, if you need longer time, think rather of buying good 5v charger. The one for P970 is 4.8v, and some of polish lg users claim that 5v extends battery live. Think of some original microUsb charger, eg.Nokia.

I think, if you need a good product, then it's normal to pay a good price. Besides, Mugen has great customer support on Facebook http://facebook.com/mugenpowerbatteries and Twitter and through their website. They changed 1 battery for me already without issues. I rather pay a 100$ and know that I can change the battery if it does not work, rather than buying a bulk of useless junk on eBay for 10$...same goes with any other product - you can buy cheep shows and throw them away in a month, or buy good ones and wear for a year.
How much is the extended battery?

Mugen over rates their batteries by quite a bit. Check batteryboss.org
Mugen are the best and the "only" or is there any other brand....?

When is the last time you bought a 50 dollar gold Rolex?
But in case you feel adventurous and do buy that extended battery please do make a experience update.
I got a similar pack for my 5800 when the original battery died and to be fair performance is better than i expected for a 15 euro

Latest (fake??) extended battery from eBay (£99)

I was playing on eBay for new accessories... I'm sure this one is fake (well, as they never live up to their promises), but as I haven't seen it posted on this forum, I thought I'd throw it up for debate
It was the high price - £99 - that made me curios enough to start a thread. That's a lot of money for a fake(?) item.

i would never buy this battery for 99 pounds
the battery has 4G technology...oh great...i will finally be able to use 4G !! i am getting this for sure !
Gold batteries have ben mentioned before, these are fake in terms of quoted capacity.
They are not from Japan, they are poor quality chinese cells in a posh gold wrapper.
Only good brands are: Momax, Andida & Mugen ...
Only good point is £99 is a cheap price to teach any buyer they are a muppet ...

I’m recently looking for Note 3 backup battery for my friend and had luckily come across posts reviewing nice batteries I assume made in china while searching on Google. I decided to buy one from mpj for my Google Nexus S first. Received the battery several day ago, did a calibration---used the battery till its empty then charge it from empty to full. Have to admit its unexpected good. With same dimensions like the stock but gives me several hours more before it died. I have been stuck with the original batteries for years but now I begin to trust the Chinese suppliers who I always had believed were scammers.

In my honest opinion, oem's are just as cheap as knock-off's and a new battery will still out perform your old one.. The ones to be weary of are the extended batteries that are the same size by "odd" makers.. Try this -here- it's only 9euros
Ok. I also think OEM is better... I'll check your link, it's a french shop so perfect for me !

I got one like a year ago from Amazon and it was perfect. I would like a bigger one but there wasn't any by that time...is there some now? I would buy it if it is a big difference.
Good luck btw, be careful with scams man:good:
how much did you pay for your oem batteries from amazon and ebay?
when I see "new" "oem" for $ 4-5 I also see a few feedback claiming that the battery are not new (maybe related to other model of batteries)
I bought one for $ 7.50 from ebay, I will let you know about the quality if I unbrick my nexus S
I've been looking for new batteries for a while now (including screen protectors too, since there not too many local sellers.
Anybody recommend good links for dependable OEM batteries on ebay (those which preferably ship worldwide)? I'm scared that I may get a bad battery.
well, i'll check out and see.
