When you click reply, just click the little globe under the box that says "fonts"
Just put your link in, and when it shows up in your reply, just put the text you want in place of the highlighted link text...did that make sense?

I found that instead of using images you may also use PNG files, I downloaded free icons in that format (are the same used by linux) and put them in a folder, then choosed that as contact images. Now I have very funny pictures for people, and very nice to see (quality)

[Q] Backing up Contact-Facebook link? [can a mod assist to move this to Q&A forum?]
Just wondering, does anyone knows how to backup the link between your froyo contacts and facebook if they are manually joined? I know the official app will link contact to the fb contact but it only works if the name is very similar. For the rest, I had to manually edit each contact and "join" them with the fb contact.
My "links" were gone when updating the ROM. Hope to avoid doing this manually again for the next ROM update.
I know sense (people app) make use of the notes, but can't figure out for froyo. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

make sure you have set to display FB contacts in your contacts app
- Edit the contact
- press menu button
- select "Join"
- select the FB contact
- Save
